Looks nice and works well but I did have an issue with the installation which meant my charger was limited to half power due to a load management setting that was too low. Had a couple of glitches with rescheduling the installer to come back and fix, but that has now been resolved , with some help from HyperVolt themselves. Overall a good charger and installation process. Just make sure your installer carries out the post install checks as the charger KWH capacity can be limited if the hard settings on the motherboard are incorrect.

Jun 29,2023Had situation where could not connect to the charger, team went through various tests and identified control unit fault, new circuit board was quickly dispatched and engineer installed couple of days later. unit all working fin now, and no additional charge even thought the unit is now 16 months since installation

Jun 28,2023We were new to the world of EV charging and were undecided with what charger to get. We had been in touch with many companies and I'm glad we chose Hypervolt. Firstly, from enquiry I was contacted via email, promptly put in contact with a range of installers. The installer I chose did an initial inspection, he was an expert, went into the logistics of placement, aesthetics including hiding the cabling, looked into WiFi connectivity. We had a quote through (which included NHS discount too!). We scheduled install, Hypervolt were keeping in touch in the background whilst awaiting install. We had it installed yesterday and we are very impressed. The installer was a true professional, he was pleasant, tidy and fitted it perfectly. He showed us the connectivity aspects, utilising the app etc. Back to Hypervolt - I didn't consider the aesthetics of EV chargers but I have to say I am very impressed with this one. It is slick, it looks very smart on the house, and I love the app & customisation of the unit itself (lights). Overall very happy with my experience.

Jun 28,2023Very helpful in both installation and readoption of a second hand unit. The unit itself is superb, and installation extremely simple, I had issues with adoption being a second-hand unit, and Hypervolt's technical support team were pragmatic, courteous and willing to help me mitigate this issue whilst respecting the necessary GDPR issues which invariably plague any situation where user data need access. Very good, and nothing negative to comment.

Jun 28,2023After the initial set up of my Hypervolt 2 the system has worked without any problems or issues. Last week my app decided not to connect to my box - I was still able to charge my car but I had no app control. I called Hypervolt support and had a response the same day asking details and this was followed up by a support call to help me through the problem. I have to thank Sumesh for his help and his patience he talked me through a number of tests which enabled him to identify the problem. He advised a solution which has worked and all seems working smoothly again. Thank you for the fast response of the Hypervolt support team

Jun 22,2023Just recently, I installed a new unit, entrusting my electric vehicle (EV) charging needs to this promising charger. This product boasts an appealing aesthetic - I chose the gray variant, and it indeed stands out impressively. Coupled with a neat and user-friendly app interface, the charger offers two compelling features: the Super Eco mode that utilizes solely clean energy from my solar panels and the Eco mode that supplements with grid power only when the solar energy falls short of the required minimum of 1.5Kw. Although it's too early to give a conclusive verdict on the charger's performance, I must commend the responsiveness of the support team. Their prompt and helpful responses left a positive impression on me from the start. However, I can't help but notice some limitations that dampen my initial enthusiasm. To begin with, the charger system only allows for a single account, which is rather inconvenient, particularly for a family use scenario. My wife, for instance, must use my login credentials, potentially leading to issues if she forgets the password and attempts to reset it. Secondly, and more bothersomely, there seems to be a glaring oversight in the energy consumption reporting. I learned from the support team that the system fails differentialy report the energy drawn from the grid and that generated by my solar panels. As a result, the cost calculations displayed are misleading, as they only consider the flat KWh tariff and total energy consumed. This certainly negates the good feeling you get when you see that your car was fully charged on the power of the sun since the report will not correctly display how much you actualy drawn from the grid. This is a baffling limitation, especially when the company heavily emphasizes the solar power usage feature. Moreover, I've found the scheduling function to lack customization. Despite being able to schedule charging sessions, it falls short in terms of setting specific charging modes to correspond with different time slots. This is a significant limitation for someone with an EV-friendly tariff and solar panels who may wish to configure different modes for day and night charging. In conclusion, despite being a visually appealing charger with promising eco-friendly features and commendable technical support, it has room for improvement. Particularly in multi-user accessibility, precise energy consumption reporting, and customizable scheduling to fully leverage its potential and live up to its eco-friendly claims.

Jun 22,2023Our electrician has just installed his first Hypervolt charger and is very impressed with the ease of installing. We had some trouble with adopting the charger over WiFi but technical helpline was very quick. It seems to be important that electrician finishes the set up procedure on their app before the user sets up their own app.

I had dreaded phoning because I anticipated holding on for ages before getting through and as a technophobe being spoken to in a language I wouldn’t understand. Actually I had a very short wait and was talked through procedures ,given a call back at the time stated. When it was recognised a site visit was needed Support organised a visit which resolved the issue .

Jun 20,2023Works really well through the app. I had a problem with it not using excess electricity from my PV Panels and so i contacted hypervolt customer help, David was able to check my charger from online and recommended I reverse my CT clamp which sorted the problem. So good customer service as well. They chased up the matter via emails as well to make sure i was happy with everything.

Jun 19,2023A good experience overall. I made an online enquiry, the company were very prompt in reply. The first installer recommended was hopeless and didn't even turn up but the second was fantastic. Keith at Revolution EV - very prompt and friendly service and transparent over pricing. Keith helped set up the App on the day and explained everything clearly. The device is working great and the App is useful for monitoring usage and scheduling as well as turning the power off when you can't get to the device to manually do so.
