Hi. When is Hypervolt going to work with Octopus and integrate the home 2.0 charger ? I've emailed loads of times and never got a reply from Octopus, it seems like the people that wanted to make a change and go EV years ago are now getting pushed aside.
When I bought, my new electric car I opted for the Hypervolt home charger based on the reviews which at the time all rated Hypervolt 10/10. I have now had my system for 3 years and until recently no issues, however the small fault was rectified with amazing efficiency and support so the 10/10 scores were right and I now too offer a rating of 10/10
Bought the Home Pro 3 Charger and had it installed by E-Verve Energy Ltd a few weeks before the new car arrived. The charger is very easy to use with the app and works flawlessly with Ovo Charge Anytime. We are still waiting on the electric board upgrading our supply but even with a restrictor fitted the charger charges our vehicle fully over night no problem. Stefano at Hypervolt has been perfect keeping us in the loop and checking to see how things are going. Would highly recommend for both the customer service and the quality of the product.
Our EV charger broke 6 months into having the charger installed hypervolt said it had nothing to do with them as they subcontracted a local company to do it. After much discussion they eventually replaced it with another company although being under warranty we had to pay for it. 6 months later we are now having a problem again with the EV charger RCD unit and hypervolt aren’t being helpful and saying they aren’t having anything to do with this! Very annoyed my car is now on the driveway for two weeks doing nothing!

From purchasing a plug-in Hybrid car and selecting a Hypervolt charger, they have provided easy phone access with responsive advise and technical assistance. They are the architects of the Hypervolt charger and have worked tirelessly to integrate their charger with the energy supplier, Octopus. Whilst there have been some glitches, they have always resolve them quickly. Overall this is a company that you can rely on for service and support.
An almost instant response to my phone call from someone who was able to walk me through the difficulty in a really patient, calm and friendly (and efficient) manner. This included calling me back when I dropped the call accidentally and waiting whilst I roamed the house gathering the information she needed and downloaded the relevant app. Thank you very much indeed, Nancy. I had an issue with the schedule on the app, hypervolt answered my query within about 10 mins on WhatsApp chat out of office hours (sunday) and sorted it out. Great charger. I can't wait until they have a new charger that will be able to use to power your home (V2H) vehicle to home.
I soke with Akbar in customer service via WhatsApp when I had an issue with the WiFi connectivity of my Hypervolt. They were very helpful and quickly resolved the problem I was having.
Delivery without issue. Installation (not arranged through Hypervolt) was straightforward for the person doing it. Setup (by myself) and charging car for first time using app was also straightforward (I have experience of using other home chargers and their apps, and pay as you use chargers). Hypervolt kindly contacted me a few times to confirm installation went ok and the system was working as expected. I'm still getting used to where to find things in the app as it is different to the other one I regularly use by another company. What I don't know yet is how well it will function in unusual circumstances (e.g. energy surges or mains voltage variations, power cut when charging etc.).
The process from start to end was really seamless. Even when my order was delayed the team contacted me to consider alternatives and offered to install a shorter lead and come back to install the longer lead free of charge. In the end the original length I ordered came in time and the job was completed with great satisfaction. The installation team who I believe is a company that Hypervolt contracts even showed me how to operate the Hypervolt system and ensured that everything was up and running to my satisfaction. Will def recommend them. Good work to the Hypervolt team.
My Hypervolt car charger recently went offline which sent me into panic mode! I followed the app advice on how to troubleshoot and was directed to Whattsapp where a very helpful person called Temidayo sent instructions how to reset it. It was very easy in the end. Thanks for a painless and speedy resolution.
I have experienced several technical glitches with my charger over a two-year period. Upon contacting Hypervolt, the technical team have never failed to resolve these issues. Particular mention to Daniel who goes the extra mile to ensure all is well and your concerns have all been corrected.
Excellent support and service from Daniel Pearce-King, who helped us with an ongoing issue between wifi and Connection to charger, also issue with the Hypervolt App. Would highly recommend Hypervolt Chargers and customer services

Prompt customer service with no pressure selling. Answered all questions thoroughly. Offered a good price and very convenient date, quicker than other competitors. Good communication throughout. Installed by a competent professional (Ian) who explained the process clearly and explained what needed to happen. Additionally, he dealt with/helped at an emergency situation on our street (an elderly neighbour had fallen) and still completed our install afterwards. Very impressed and would recommend to others.
I chose Hypervolt for my new EV charger as I was impressed with the technology, the visual aspects and the very positive reviews from other buyers. The process was seamless and efficient from start to finish, including the part played by Hypervolt’s installer in our area, E-Verve Energy. All the associated documentation, including Building Regulations Approvals was taken care of by the suppliers and provided in a timely manner. A perfect example of a 5-Star Customer Service experience.
When a fault developed in my EV charger whilst under warranty and which was proving difficult to resolve Hypervolt replaced the unit without me even asking. They clearly value their customers and deserve their excellent reputation. The electrician who performed the replacement, Simon Parker, worked to a high standard and was a credit to Hypervolt.
