Cannot comment on the charger itself or setup yet as still waiting for it to be installed. First impressions are that they are a company that care about there customers experience. Well done.

Nov 04,2023Great support! Wish more companies had the same approach to customer service. Had an issue with my app connecting to the box after my broadband had been upgraded. Made contact out of chat hours and received an email next morning offering help and advice, including 2 options with step by step instructions to help fix the issue. First option worked and sorted my issue. Thanks you Robert for your help! 5 stars we deserved.

Nov 03,2023Great experience from start to finish with Hypervolt. Provided lots of information on the process from selection to install. Extensive list of approved installers, I was glad to be able to pick a local installer in my area who were also excellent (EV Guys Ltd). So far the unit is performing well, and if I had any issues the Tech Support team have been very helpful and quick to respond. Good communication at all time, with varies communication methods available. Unit is very sleek compared to others and the app use has been seamless to date.

Nov 01,2023Not outstanding, particularly as regards the user control side. Had to install a wifi range extender just the other side of the exterior wall from the charger, even though other devices have no problem connecting to the router from the same location. The app still seems to lose contact with the charger occasionally (and I only use it occasionally). I get error messages and the only solution seems to be switching the charger off and on at the isolator. Even when it's connected there's an unpredictable delay in responding to changes of setting. Even changing LED brightness can be fraught. It's even more irritating when it comes to connecting via Bluetooth, because the charger seems to lose visibility shortly after it's switched on at the isolator even to devices that are paired with it. The app itself has shortcomings. When you program a schedule it asks you to save, but it doesn't confirm the save. It stays on the same page, so you're not sure whether the schedule has saved correctly. Also, you can set a maximum charging current, but if you then schedule a charge it calculates and displays the total kWh charge but it's always based on maximum charging current (32A). Again, you're not sure what's going on. The charger looks nice on the wall and the electrical side of the charger seems to work fine (haven't done many charges yet). The experience with Hypervolt prior to installation was positive. Dealing with the technical helpdesk after installation was pretty good too - you just don't want so much of that. Basically, if you want something that works smoothly, reliably and intuitively every time, have a look at the options.

Best after service ever,added with the great product that just works, why would you consider any other product? I would recommend with company to anyone. Terry,no one special just a normal user!

Oct 26,2023I’ve been wanting an EV charger for a while. And it was becoming clear that they were either cheap boarder line glorified plug sockets. To full smart home integrated feature rich high tech gadgets with high prices to match. So I don’t have roof top solar or house batteries. So a I was finding that to get a charging unit that had the features I wanted, I would need to spend a lot of money on a charger that would have features I would never be able to utilise. Thankfully the HyperVolt hits that sweet spot of Price / Features / Style. The sales team were very helpful. And they also struck that good balance of not pushy and not so laidback as to seem uninterested. So as example, the web site had a gremlin so that I couldn’t progress my booking. The support team very quickly made sure that my order and details were passed onto their local installer. And the installer performed an incredible job. He arrived promptly. Installed the unit exactly where I wanted it. Even tidied up afterwards so well that you wouldn’t have known. I’m very pleased with the charger. I like the cable management. And the wall socket holder is so useful. And I must say it’s refreshing to find a EV charger manufacturer that doesn’t rip you off for a longer cable. And to have several options. 5 meters seems to be the standard. But having a 7.5 meter along with the 10 meter option was a pleasant surprise. The app is very user friendly too. It was very simple to set up. And good to go without needing to dig around in sub menus. The charger is communicating well over WiFi. And there is already a RJ45 network socket inside the unit should you want to hard wire the unit to your router. All in all I’m very impressed so far. I will be interested to see how it performs over time. So I shall see what it’s like to live with it over the next few months.

Oct 23,2023When my unit went offline I contacted technical support who contacted me very quickly to advise of the steps to go through to get it back online. When this didn't work Ayan phoned me directly and we talked through the procedure. There were several follow ups from Hypervolt to ensure the unit was back online. They are a very proactive and helpful organisation.

Oct 18,2023Have recently had my Hypervolt 3 charger installed and am really impressed. Not only does the charger look good, but the app is great. The customer service received from Callum at Hypervolt has been great, following up on my initial enquiry and installation. The installation was completed by John from Kent EV who are an authorised installer. John was reliable, punctual, extremely polite and most of all, did a first class job. His attention to detail was impeccable and he did a fantastic, neat job of the installation. Overall, I have been really impressed by the quality and service received from both Hypervolt and Kent EV. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for you charger and installation.
