Oct 20,2021Appalling claims department, I have been trying for over a week now to speak to someone, I have been on the phone for over 45 minutes each day, I do not have the time to wait any longer. 1 of the calls was answered and then they hung up before I could speak. Tried emailing, only an automatic response, I tried Facebook message, nothing - surely I don't need to write to them!

Oct 05,2021Thank you fir your reply Niamh and for sending the email. However, it only showed one dog. I fud spend over 50 mins holding on call talking to operator yesterday to check/amend this. Whilst on phone i noticed a typo (my fault) of our first dogs dob. I asked to change that to July 2017…. He was unsure if it would affect policy and said he would come back to me. Also i checked it was ok the policy was in my name: dogs are in my husbands name same address). Again he could not answer.

Oct 04,2021Insure Your Paws was my previous pet insurance provider and unfortunately I was not given a good service when I wanted to renew, so I had to cancel it, get a new quote and policy again. However, up to this point my overall experience was positive and the quote was the best on offer. The policy is easy to read, understand and you can reach customer service quite quickly. I claimed once and that process was simple and smooth. As the positives outweigh the negative with this insurer, I do recommend but with a caution regarding renewal.

Our vets worked directly with the insurance and I received updates to say when the bills would be paid. Took the stress out of vet bills and allowed us to look after our pet.

Sep 26,2021I didn't realise when shopping around each year you can usually find your renewal with the same company for cheaper on comparisons than you get with your renewal, but this resets your lifetime contract with them as technically its a new policy. Our dog developed epilepsy and we suspected a seizure the previous year but wasn't 100% I was going by experience of my previous dog, shopped around upon renewal and saved around £40 compared to the renewal letter. As I saved the £40 I ended my lifetime policy and started a new one with the same company, essentially starting a policy with a possible pre diagnosed condition so when she had a definite seizure it was on record at the vets for the previous one. When going to claim their was a bit of dispute as my policy with them had only been active for a few months due to this, but had actually been a customer to them for years. They honoured it with a bit of explination and have paid out no questions for lifetime medication and other seizure visits and the lady on the phone when claiming genuinely cared asked how my dog was and also how I was feeling/getting on with my dog and gave me faith in the company, which I've never felt from insurance companies in the past. I will 100% use these in the future for any animals I may need insurance for, and should a supervisor/manager read this thank the initial member of staff that dealt with my claim they are an asset to your company.
