Feb 18,2021I cannot recommend ionian weddings enough but especially Maria who has been our absolute rock through such uncertain times. We were originally getting married in May 2020 but unfortunately had to postpone but the process was made stressless and easy with all the help and hard work from Maria. We postponed to June 2021 but with everything still being so uncertain once again we turned to Maria who discussed with us all our options and in the end we regrettably made the decision to cancel our 2021 wedding which Maria was so understanding about and her response is always quick. We will definitely be using Ionian wedding when we feel it is the right time to get married.

Feb 18,2021Cassi from Ionian weddings has been brilliant. Super helpful, quick to respond, helped with all our questions and queries, even when we changed our minds completely a few times! Feel very well looked after and confident that the rest of the wedding experience will be positive! We’ve booked for September 2022 and cannot wait. Cassi discussed lots of different options with me and was always very honest and helpful, and it’s nice to take your time with it and not feel pushed or pressured. Definitely recommend Ionian weddings they’re so helpful and really put you at ease. I’m looking forward to the rest of the process with them!

Jan 31,2021Our wedding is booked for June 2022. Our experience so far has been brilliant. Cassi has been so helpful from the get go, any questions we have had she has answered quickly and in detail. I thought planning a wedding abroad would be so stressful but it has been a breeze so far so I am very confident that our wedding is in good hands. Roll on 2022!

Jan 29,2021I honestly cannot sing Maria's praises enough. There has been zero worries or any of the delays that could be expected considering the current situation. Sadly our September 2021 wedding has been moved to the following year but Maria has made the whole process as easy and with the least amount of stress possible. Every email is proffesional yet with a sense of ease that you feel you are speakign to a friend. Genuniely feel that Maria has our best interests at heart. I cannot recommend enough! Simpy Thank you!

We found them through an Internet search along with many others whom we also contacted.On our first contact with Cassi,we instantly knew that she was who we wanted to deal with as she congratulated us straight away and was so friendly and bubbly.Other providers showed no interest in our plans and wants,and made us feel incredibly uncomfortable.Cassi from the start could not do enough to help us and at no point have we been made to feel like a burden even when we asked her lots of questions......trust me we have asked hundreds of questions.The communication is immediate from her and nothing is too much trouble.If she is unable to help us,she has asked her team to help and again they have been incredible.Both myself and my partner can not wait to have them as part of our special day,as they have already made an amazing journey even more magical.Thank you Cassi and team,you all truly care that our day is as perfect as we want

Jan 09,2021A close friend at work booked her Italian wedding through Ionian and told me how amazing they had been. She wasn't wrong, my experience so far has been unbelievably positive and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Before booking anything, we decided to go on a holiday to Santorini and tie in some venue visits. I got in touch with Jane at Ionian and explained this is what we wanted to do and she offered to liaise with all of the venues and arrange the schedule for us, so we didn't have to do a thing. We paid a small fee for this, but it was refunded when we booked. We received a full list of our venue appointments before we left and Jane had arranged for us to be joined by the amazing Ionian wedding coordinator in Santorini, Sofia. Sofia even came and collected us from our hotel and took us in her car to each of the venues, she couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. On returning from Santorini we received quotes for our favourite venues. Once we made our decision to go ahead, we chose to visit the Ionian offices to talk through everything with Jane face-to-face and confirm all of the details. Booking our wedding with Ionian has been the best decision we could have made. At every step of the way Jane has been at the end of the phone or email, responding quickly - nothing has ever been too much trouble. Sadly, our plans for a July 2020 wedding has to be postponed but I honestly could not be more grateful that we had Jane looking after us. It could have been a very upsetting and stressful experience, but Jane took care of absolutely everything and I am so unbelievably grateful. Very quickly Jane had secured the same venue and date for 2021 and got all of my suppliers rebooked. No upset or stress whatsoever! We decided to still go ahead and have a holiday in Santorini this summer and so Jane arranged for us to have a menu and cake tasting which was great. We met up with Sofia again again too which was lovely. We are now working with Jane on the finishing touches and keeping everything crossed that our July 2021 wedding can go ahead! If you are thinking of booking with Ionian Weddings, all I can say is DO IT!! x

We got engaged on the 9th December and decided to make plans right away. Cassi has already been extremely helpful. We have just paid the deposit and are so excited to plan our dream wedding with ionian weddings. Xx

Dec 07,2020Originally our wedding was booked 20th June 2020, we were lucky enough to postpone it to June 2021. Maria was absolutely fantastic in moving everything forward to the following year. Maria really put our minds at rest, making sure everyone was available for our new date. We also took a trip to Sorrento last year to view the cloisters and our reception venue, Maria organized the day with the local Italian team, again they were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately due to covid myself and my partner have decided to cancel our dream Italian wedding and get married in London. That said Maria was completely supportive. We lost all deposit which we would totally fine about, But Maria and the team are refunding us the extra payments we have paid on top of the deposit. I just want to say a big thanks again and wish you all the best for the future!! Good luck to all you brides and grooms you're being safe hands x

Nov 10,2020Absolutely overwhelmed that Marc and I married in Skiathos this September! Through all the stresses and hurdles this year, not knowing until the very last week whether it would go ahead; the girls in the office were fantastic! We actually booked the date in January 2019 so I’ve liaised with a number of staff and all of them have been so very supportive (even on my most stressed of days !!) right up to the day we left UK. The team in Skiu , well George , were equally amazing from start to finish. Being such a relaxed location nothing is too much and we were very well looked after . The suppliers and venue proprietor were fabulous. I fully recommend Ionian Weddings and Skiathos island. Just wish they could organise another event lol Karen & Marc Healey

Oct 01,2020We can’t thank you enough for the planning and execution of our wedding in Skiathos - it really was the perfect day! There was always someone to talk to if we had any queries, despite being in the middle of a pandemic. The transition between our English wedding planner and our Greek wedding planner was seamless and everyone could not have been more helpful or supportive. We visited all the suppliers a few days before the wedding and confirmed exactly what we wanted, which was really reassuring. We would 100% recommended Ionian weddings!

Sep 25,2020Booked our wedding with ionian last year and everything was absolutely fantastic from the get go. Helen was always at the end of the phone to deal with any questions we had and then when covid hit and it me and my wife were constantly stressing about it being cancelled Helen again reassured us and even sorted out a backup date just incase and dealt with the inevitable dropouts and extra requests without fuss. So we eventually made it to cyprus and Leanne our local planner was quite possibly the greatest person I've ever met in my life. Anything and everything she sorted for us. If you book with ionian and are lucky enough to deal with Helen and Leanne you can be assured that your wedding will be absolutely perfect just like ours was.

Sep 23,2020Amazing!! Helen at Ionian weddings helped me to plan the wedding of my dreams! My wedding was last friday and throughout this year it has been touch and go. Helen reassured me that everything would be ok and gave me a backup date just in case. Thankfully our wedding was ok to go ahead and everything was perfect! Leanne, our wedding coordinator in Cyprus was amazing and set out the decorations better than I could have imagined! I would highly recommend.

She has helped advised and answered every single question we have had very quickly. We heard this company was excellent through word of mouth so checked our options with Cassi at Ionian. Cassi was excellent in quickly responding to our very many questions about venues, timings and costs. She went above and beyond even before we had formally booked in with the company. As a result of the excellent information and options provided, we were happy to go ahead and book with Ionian for next summer. we are looking forward to continuing to plan with this company and are certain this professionalism will continue to carry over as our planning continues and the big day approaches.
