If I could give 0 stars I would. This company statement on their website says 'A spirit of care runs through all we do We’re proud to help keep sheets clean, meals served, baths warm and people safe. The equipment we look after matters to people, and they rely on us to keep it running.' All I can say is for months we have been chasing repairs on 2 showers at a care home for young, vulnerable individuals with disabilities. Months!!! communication is beyond poor and they do not have the common courtesy to inform us when they wont be coming out !! This is the 4th time these works have been rearranged. Although your statement says you care, I believe this to be the complete opposite and I actually feel you are discriminating against those you claim need you to stay safe. poor company and would NOT recommend to anyone shame as the engineers are very good, but the company is a complete disgrace

I decided to rent a fryer with JLA because of the promise to fix anything right away or replace it. The fryer delivered was cheap and not very good. It soon broke. JLA were called, they sent someone out to have a look, who said we needed a new thermostat. And that was it for over 3 weeks. Every time we contacted them to ask when it would be fixed they said someone would ring us back. Every time, no one ever rang back. I phoned 2 sales rep to have them chase it up. Again, they said they would get back to me, but never did. I had to totally reduce my menu and cut the amount covers we could do. All this landed over a bank holiday. I had to cut all my chefs hours. In the end I decided I had no choice but to buy a new fryer from another company or close my kitchen down. The JLA fryer was taken out of the kitchen and placed in the store room. I then contacted JLA asking them to cancel my contract and collect the broken fryer. This time they got back to me straight away. They came in and fitted a new part to the broken fryer sitting in my store room and told me if I wanted to cancel the contract it would cost £9k. And they also told me off for removing their broken equipment and stated a quote from their contract about not moving their equipment without written consent. So now I'm paying rent on a cheap, rubbish fryer that is sitting gathering dust in my store room, never to be used again. And if I cancel the direct debit, I'll only be taken to court. JLA are con-artists. Stay clear!

E8 1DW Multiple wrong quotes to repair boiler but boiler needed replacing, weeks of chasing. Replying to Lynette, I have tried to engage with JLA for two years and spoke to your colleague Trevina in Customer Resolutions yesterday who is fully aware of all our unresolved issues.

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with JLA's communication service, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment on Trustpilot. Despite their initial promptness in requesting a purchase order (PO), their subsequent lack of response left me feeling ignored and dissatisfied. From the onset, JLA demonstrated efficiency and eagerness by promptly requesting my purchase order. This initial interaction gave me hope that I had chosen a reliable service provider for my communication needs. However, my optimism quickly faded as soon as I sent the PO. After submitting the purchase order, I expected JLA to acknowledge its receipt and provide me with updates on the progress of my request. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality I encountered. I attempted multiple means of communication, including phone calls, emails, and even online chat, but to no avail. It seemed as though my messages were falling into a black hole, never to be acknowledged or answered. The lack of response from JLA was not only frustrating but also detrimental to my business operations. I needed timely updates and information to plan accordingly, but their unresponsiveness left me in the dark. As a customer, I value clear and open lines of communication, and JLA's failure in this regard was highly disappointing. I understand that unforeseen circumstances and high workloads can lead to delays, but a complete absence of communication is simply unacceptable. Even a simple acknowledgment of my inquiries or an estimated timeline for a response would have been appreciated. The lack of transparency and disregard for customer concerns exhibited by JLA's communication team is deeply concerning. It is disheartening to experience such a lack of professionalism and accountability from a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. As a result of their poor communication service, I not only had to endure unnecessary stress and frustration but also faced operational setbacks that impacted my business. In light of my negative experience, I cannot recommend JLA's communication service to others. Their initial promptness in requesting a purchase order is overshadowed by their subsequent failure to respond and maintain an open line of communication. I strongly advise potential customers to seek alternative service providers who value effective and reliable communication with their clients. JLA, I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to your communication processes. A reliable and responsive communication service is crucial in today's fast-paced business environment, and it is imperative that you prioritize the needs and concerns of your customers.
