I would have preferred to give 0 stars to this company but it wasn’t possible. JLA are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life, both personally and through business. The company were more concerned with taking payment for a service call out than arranging the appointment which I had to chase on 3 occasions . I was finally advised that it would be last appointment 3-3.30pm on Tuesday 21st Nov 2023. We closed our kitchen early and lost 2 hours of trade only for them not to attend or ring to say they weren’t attending . I contacted them that evening and had a very unpleasant conversation with the planning team and was assured that she would call me back within 1/2 hour to confirm rescheduling of the appointment …. Needless to say no phone call or for the following days until I contacted them yet again and was passed from one person to another and no one could help me so I requested a refund for the service I didn’t receive . I finally spoke to a team Leader Chris in compliance who was rude , arrogant and difficult to deal with and completely avoiding answering the questions I posed about refunding the payment I had made . He had a serious attitude problem and his customer service skills were seriously lacking . He had no idea how long my refund would be or rather just couldn’t be bothered to find out the correct information . The service you receive from this company is absolutely shocking, no messages ever get passed on and nobody follows through with what they say they will. Do not deal with them at any cost or you will experience what I have for my business and you will find it difficult to get a refund or for someone to actually turn up and complete the job you have paid them for . Update - Lyndsey customer care consultant was excellent at responding to my complaint and her actions restored my faith that the whole company wasn’t a disaster . A lot of the employees of JLA particularly the ones I unhappily dealt with should take a training session with Lyndsey on how to handle customers in the correct way .

Last year phoned to confirm my service for my washer got appointment for Monday waited all day no contact on wed at 7 am got text to say they were on their way so got up on my day off still noone went out to work on farmnext thing at 12 got a email to say they had been and I wasn't in surely they could have called on the number they text me on it is a farm after all so void I wouldn't use them a gain so this year got a call explained what had happened, stupidly I fell for the it won't happen again got a date arranged and guess what no one emailed them at four to sayno one had been and don't bother to make another appointment next thing as if by magic kizzie on phone oh sorry engineer been held up when I said I didn't want another appointment she put it through as a cancellation!!!! I don't have all day to hang about waiting for engineer to arrive when kizzie and the engineers have different schedules
