Steve came to fix the kitchen dishwasher , what an excellent representative of the company, polite , friendly , explained in simple terms what he was doing , and got on with it , it was a tricky job but it was all done ready for the lunch time service , and he cleaned up as he found it .Good people like Steve are hard to get , so treat him well and he will do you proud , excellent .

Avoid this company like the plague. Horrendous service. Bought new so wouldn’t have problems and has nothing but problems. Keeps breaking down, affecting my business. Do not turn up when booked. I’m at the end of my tether.

do not use this company , they lie the customer service is worst than useless . I have been calling and emailing since JULY . still waiting for answers . No mangers who will speak with clients . tied in to an 8YEAR contract . I was told it would be about £20 per week that is rubbish trebble that . I was told it would only cover the cost of building the machine !!! I could have bought a new car at for less.AVOID at all costs
We just had two new boilers fitted at our office building in London - Chris and his team were efficient and professional . Very nice bunch of engineers - would recommend them to anyone, a pleasure to have on site. Great customer care from Jamie & Dean.
I have been waiting for a refund on a freezer for weeks . Constantly chasing and getting nowhere .

They tie you into long contracts and on sale of said sites have no want to work with you in cancelling and will charge you the full payments due on the contract. Will certainly not be working with them again in the future
Once again problems! Was contacted by there new rep who said give us a go again sorry for previous problems. Bought 2 spider trunions they were exspensive but they gave me discount to beat gpprs so I excepted and PAID! They forgot to send them said they would put on express delivery so I would get the next morning and didn’t. I missed going to the job as they turned up late in afternoon. When they arrive the threads were mushroomed and I had to die the threads. I was offered £50 compensation. Now 2 months on they sent me a bill for the trunions saying I owed it! No no compensation on account. If you want problems jla will make them for you!
Disgraceful company - we had Acer Equipment servicing our machines who unfortunately got taken over by JLA as their continued acquisition of the smaller laundry companies continues. Anyhow, our previous dealings with JLA even before this have been shoddy at best, and they have probably gotten worse over time. Their main aim is to sell you new equipment, primarily on a lease to tie you into them for a long period of time. If you have existing equipment, even if its still a few years old and under warranty - according to JLA it is obsolete and needs replacing. (Also bear in mind that most of JLA supplied equipment is rebadged stuff with their own logo on. This includes their catering equipment) Their engineers can be hit and miss - you will find the ones that have come through from smaller companies like Acer know what they are doing but the ones trained by JLA are a bunch of cowboys. Furthermore, if you have Miele equipment, do not let them touch it. They are not specialists and even though they try to act like it and acquire smaller companies so they can become Miele partner (through the acquisition), they do not retain this status for long as Miele normally revoke this status soon after. This means that for them to get Miele parts it takes them normally three times as long as other companies who have genuine Miele partner status. Furthermore they do not have access to the online parts lists, and the diagnostic / programming equipment for these machines (unless the engineer knows someone from another company who does ;) ) We just had our Miele machine looked at by another small independent laundry company as JLA were constantly finding faults and replacing bits for it to only break down a short while later. They have found that not only did JLA fit the wrong parts (wrong size elements with a smaller rating) but they were fitted completely wrong which has caused more damage to the machine. Hence my reason to write this review. If we could give them 0 stars we would but Trustpilot does not allow this! My main recommendation would be to stick to the smaller independents who take pride on their reputation of continued business, not some corporate company who only is looking after the bottom line at the expense of everyone else.
We have a 20plus year history with JLA and not all of it has been good! The past few years however have been exceptionally good, this is mainly due to two amazing, ex- Expert Services’ engineers - Alan Walton and Nigel Gilbert. The ‘behind the scenes’ team within the office has also greatly improved with a better understanding and customer centered focus. A special mention must also go to Claire Pope who has dealt with more than a few issues surrounding our machine - not all of which were down to the machine but a particular engineer who has caused more problems following his supposed ‘fix’. Claire has personally over-seen our recent issues and has gone above and beyond to help.
I was offered to have my machines covered with a rapid response that includes 5 days call out, all parts replaced at no charge and no wear and tear to the machines clause stipulated in the advert. However had to opt for a 60 month contract with them. Now that the machine is no longer working they reported that they will not fix it due to the age and it will cost them more than the machine. what a gimmick they locked me in for 60 months contract, thus if i was not happy with the service i would still have to pay out the service charge. if they found it too expensive to repair they would say the machine is too old to fix. Why offer the 60 months contract instead of 12 months contract? One sided to be honest. I still have the misleading advert in my emails, I will be reporting them to trading standards
The engineer was polite, quickly resolved the problem, to back to work again
Chris and his team (Dean, Sonny and Michael) were excellent, professional and very friendly. Great bunch of guys to complete intricate works in a sensitive environment. We'd have them back any day!
