May 26,2022Following medical negligence which resulted in Cauda Equina Syndrome, I took my case to JMW to seek damages for a badly delayed diagnosis. My case was handled by one of the partners, Angharad, who took me through what is necessarily a complex and sometimes difficult journey through to a successful resolution. At all times I was handled with kindness, professionalism and dignity and Angharad took great pains to ensure I was up to speed with where we were and that I knew what was being done and why (which was especially important before seeing expert medical witnesses with whom I had to talk about my experiences and sometimes be examined). As my solicitor, Angharad always sought my feedback - both from the human aspect as well as in terms of the legal case. She also gave swift and open appraisal at important points during my case and was happy to explain in laymans terms what was happening. In conclusion, I felt in control, supported and empowered by people who really knew their way around the legal and medical aspects of my condition. This kept me going when at times I just wanted to forget and helped me reach satisfactory settlement for my injuries and a measure of justice. As an aside, the fees were also reasonable and clearly explained. It was a hard road getting justice but I am very happy I did and would commend JMW and Angharad to anyone in my situation.

May 25,2022The standout individual whom we have worked with at JMW Solicitors LLP is Nicola Wainwright whom is a Partner at this firm. Nicola has been outstanding, she knew the intricate details regarding our case, which could never be simply handed over for a colleague to pickup. She is exceptional with regard to drawing the most appropriate medical experts in their field to opine on the case, and utilised other legal professionals in her firm, and externally as required. Nicola went well above and beyond what I would normally expect to support us as her client. When I moved country, she was always able to meet us and was able to meet out of normal hours to work with our time zone. Nicola was very thorough in all of her work, leaving no stone unturned, she is a problem solver, she was able to succinctly assimilate complex medical reports from multiple opinions and specialities, and to hone in on the pertinent matters of contention. Nicola has a passion for supporting her clients, particularly those whom have been adversely affected due to poor medical treatment and negligence, .She is driven to help support those clients, and to change practice to prevent similar avoidable adverse events from recurring. She also does this with a genuine care and empathy for the clients affected, and is compassionate about the situation. I am not able to give her a higher commendation and rate her as simply the best.

May 21,2022I have recently engaged with JMW 4 days prior to my court date for a speeding offence (122 mph) and the service I received was top notch. My solicitor instructed me on key essential requirements which I had to prepare prior to my hearing which proved to be invaluable. In the 6 months leading up to the hearing I was hesitant to take on representation on the basis I was fully expecting the worse (driving ban and significant fine) and my thought process was ‘what’s the point in spending’ In hindsight, this is the best decision I have ever made as the outcome was 6 points and a minimal fine (NO BAN). This has enabled me to carry on with my daily working routine and ultimately saved me thousands of pounds (let alone the save on car insurance costs) Can’t thank Helen Kelsall enough, the ultimate professional and would highly recommend hers and JMW’s services.

May 17,2022I have been in the UK for 10 years, since I was 15 years old. I am a university graduate now at 26 years old and I was looking for ways in which I can settle and work in the UK full time. I came across JMW and everything changed. They advised and gave me guidance on how to go about my indefinite leave to remain application. Being a student and having a student visa always limited the amount of hours I could work, I am now proud to say that my indefinite leave to remain application has been successful, which means I can can start building the life I’ve always wanted in the UK. A big thank you to JMW. Roi, Sumara and Dipesh were very friendly and extremely helpful. It is no doubt that the company have talented and smart solicitors who know to tackle issues based on each client. Communication was perfect, customer service was out of this world.
