Apr 27,2022Avoid for conveyancing. They don't have any time for you, not once was I able to speak to an actual person or have a question answered. Every single aspect took weeks with no answers or timelines. On the day I was hoping to complete after having no updates I emailed desperate for an update and was told "the more you ask questions the slower things will be". Go with a small firm who can actually help you. The estate agents I used also commented on the unprofessional nature of my solicitor and how we put demands on them which were the responsibilities of JMW.

I didn’t have to say anything except confirming my name and plea as Helen spoke on my behalf, including all the important information we discussed in our meeting. Thanks to her knowledge and professionalism we managed to secure the best possible outcome and the shortest ban and smallest fine. She ensured the jury took time to read my character references and made a really convincing and well executed case on my behalf. I am extremely pleased and would definitely recommend her services if needed

Apr 15,2022My interactions with the head of JMW's Intellectual Property team and a former staff member were extremely disappointing. I regret selecting them for this case over other firms we considered. As the client funding their services, I was informed that I could not dictate which services I was paying for, which is not only concerning but also contradicts their own service policy. When I raised a payment issue as advised by our accountants, they defended their higher charges by claiming that previous discounts justified the increased fees in other areas. This statement, particularly in an email, is quite alarming coming from a law firm. Furthermore, I have made documented requests to advance the case to court for over two months, yet I have incurred over £5,000 in fees primarily for internal discussions among their team, while the opposing party has only provided two responses. Despite my repeated requests, the case has not progressed to court, and the necessary information to facilitate a settlement was not shared, indicating a deliberate effort to prolong the matter for additional billing before the claim concludes. We have engaged a more reputable law firm to handle this case moving forward. I strongly advise others to consider this guidance to avoid incurring substantial bills for unnecessary communications and emails, which can exceed £500 monthly. Our experience with this law firm has been unprecedented, and their conduct is frankly alarming. AVOID AVOID AVOID

For my case we were offered a settlement, we discussed it and decided to appeal - in the end we came out with a larger sum, I would recommend. Cheers!

Apr 05,2022Hojol Uddin was my solicitor for a driving offence. He was outstanding from start to finish, the advice he gave me was invaluable and he was professional but yet put me at ease through this whole situation. He understood my needs and he was caring. After going through magistrates court and then crown court alongside barrister Sophia Dower I got the best outcome that I could have wished for, and I’m very grateful for all the hard work, constant communication and the way I was treated by them both. I can’t recommend Hojol enough. He goes above and beyond.

Mar 31,2022My solicitor from JMW was Nicholas Young. My claim was to to do with medical negligence as I suffered with cauda Equina a medical emergency where red flags were missed. Nicholas was outstanding throughout the claim. This journey has lasted 3 and a half years but all through this journey Nicholas always kept me informed and updated re the progress of my claim and always answered any queries as we moved forward. In fact I would sometimes receive Emails from Nicholas outside his working day which showed me how dedicated he was for me, himself and JMW. The end result to my claim was success and a settlement. Nicholas young is a major asset to JMW. Thank you JMW but most of all, thank you Nicholas

Mar 30,2022Terrible service when dealing with a bridging loan for a house sale. Had all the paperwork from me for nearly two months. Called, emailed with no response. Then two days before the money was to be sent I was finally contacted with various paperwork to be filled out, which could of been sorted weeks ago. They missed the deadline which I then extended for another week and again left it to the last minute. Communication was shocking and then found out they hadn’t filed things on time with the land registry. I was told it would take 10 days to sort which would again cause a delay. My other solicitor sorted in less than an hour! Very poor service and I would avoid using if it’s anything to do with a house sale or mortgage.
