Jan 14,2025JMW is in the closed panel for United Trust Bank. I wrote to all solicitors on the panel, and their price was the best. My broker also raved about it. And so I went for them. I had a bridge loan with a deadline of Jan 22. Worse, I had a trip overseas one week before. They were instructed right before Christmas, and the office was closed until after Jan 2. So, I was panicking, as the penalty for not paying off by the deadline was not light. My case was assigned to Omar Hardi, and he was on annual leave and returning Jan 6. Regardless, I wrote to him. To my great surprise, he wrote back during his leave and gave me a list of materials to collect from my freehold. On Jan 2, his assistant Rai sent me more docs to work on. When Orma got back, he worked swiftly on the case (once calling me at 6:30pm). The deal is now due to close on Jan 17. I am very grateful to Omar and Rai.

Jan 10,2025I was recommended this firm and in particular Rachelle Green by a friend, who had an extremely positive experience with her. I was dealing with Rachelle, Ben Johnson and Jack McKee. They were very professional, but very compassionate at the same time. They had a world of knowledge and I felt safe and confident with them. They were very responsive, and also sympathetic and empathetic about our situation. If I didn’t understand anything, they were always available, either for a chat to explain or by email. They acted to deadlines on short notice amazingly. They made everything clear to me, they made me feel at ease, nothing was any trouble to them, and they responded very efficiently when I had a question. Their attention to detail fron the start was brilliant. They were in charge always, and were very vigilant of everything, and to put it simply, they were “on it”, always chasing etc. I can’t recommend them enough, and I will definitely be coming back to them, and will be recommending them to family and friends. Jan 10,2025I was put in contact with Hojol Uddin via a family contact following a truly worrying letter that came through the door accusing me of a serious crime. From our first conversation (and this was after I'd spoken to other law firms) it was clear he was the man to help, he was the most thorough and engaging at the initial steps, reassuring me at that initial stage that he would do everything he can to try and nip this in the bud as early as possible...and he did. I am over the moon that I went with JMW and Hojol to represent me, and will recommend him to anyone in my position should they also need representation in the future, as I don't think I'd have the same quick resolution with another firm / lawyer who weren't as thorough, or that they may treat you like another number, rather than as a very worried person as Hojol did. Jan 10,2025Constant delays and lack of response. From 10/12/2024 to this week I heard nothing despite chasing. I'm constantly asked for documents they already have and I absolutely at the end of my rope with JMW. Never again - use someone else!

I don’t know why they can still survive in this country with this kind of incompetence and lack of efficiency. If you are considering to use their service for buying or selling a property, I will never recommend this company to you! It wastes your time and money!

Jack Pittam, who dealt with my initial enquiry and who kept in contact throughout, immediately put me at ease whilst explaining the process and discussing my case.
