I cannot recommend them enough for the care, professionalism, support and kindness shown to myself and my family whilst dealing with a very difficult, upsetting situation for my son in very challenging circumstances. They truly went above and beyond in the way that they were always on hand and by telephone when we needed them. Although unfortunately I was never able to meet them face to face, we felt that they were more than just our legal team they were our advocates who always had the clients and families best interests at heart always. I cannot recommend them enough, they held our hands throughout the whole process. Dec 19,2024Two year before I use their service. I pay them deposit and ask them confirm receipt my deposit no response. And they finally help me nothing. Very poor service and I don’t ask them to help me again. Then they ask me to pay money. I ask them what kind of service they provide to me. No response again. One year later after that they send email to me to ask me to pay but say mothing what I need to pay. So annoying!

Dec 17,2024Slow, inefficient. Cannot even spell correctly (potentially material consequences?). I have bought/sold a few properties over the years and this is the WORST experience I have ever had. 5 months since sale agreed and still awaiting exchange. They do not answer emails. I will follow this up by making an official complaint through The Legal Ombudsman.

Dec 07,2024My Journey started in 2018, when I nervously called around to seek legal advice on the treatment I received while in hospital , I found JMW online and that call has changed my life forever. I was put through to Jodie Miller who listened and said yes I had a case. Even though I live on the south coast of England and Jodie is in Manchester I just had a feeling that this was the right person and firm. Every step of the way Jodie was patient and understanding, she gave open honest advice. Anytime I asked for a call or sent an email Jodie contacted me back and I always felt like I was the only case she had (which wasn’t true) My Cauda Equina case was emotional and at times hard to open up about. But Jodie always made me at ease and although professional, I never felt awkward or uncomfortable, Jodie was very knowledgeable and had the very best team working for me. My case lasted 6 years, I never felt pushed or rushed, always explained everything , we settled out of court at the amount we aimed for. My feeling was and will always be that Jodie cares. There aren’t enough words I can use to express how deeply grateful my young family and I feel to Jodie and JMW.

Dec 05,2024Fantastic service, solicitor Helen Kelsall we couldn’t have asked for more having had to use Helen now on 2 occasions I have to say the service received has been first class. Having spoken to Helen back last year and Helen dealing with a case for my son and her service and our experience been nothing but positive, when we needed some help again I didn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call Helen for guidance and advice and as always Helen could not of done anymore assisted by Jade who was also very helpful at pulling things together for us. Hope we do not need Helen’s service again however if ever we did or family or friends did I would definitely be recommending Helen to them all. Thanks again Helen much appreciated

Nov 30,2024Absolutely appalling! When we think of the UK legal system words like "justice" or "integrity" come to mind. But after my experience of using this firm first hand - particularly against powerful corporations - those words feel hollow. A partner at this firm took my case to JMW in January 2020, after dragging it out for 21 months at his previous firm. Throughout, he was more interested in opening case files and billing than actually solving the issues. Despite clearly violating property rules—industrial equipment was installed on the roof above my flat without permission, planning approval, or consent — the case was prolonged with endless delays and legal missteps. Cracks, leaks, and structural failures piled up as half-hearted repairs only made things worse. The partner seemed intent on dragging the case on indefinitely, ignoring lease breaches and legal violations. In one particularly egregious instance, solicitors concealed a noise report to mislead the court and justify keeping the unauthorized equipment in place. Instead of addressing the problem, the focus was on delays, deception, and escalating fees. Meanwhile, properties devalued, and many became unsaleable as a cloud of uncertainty loomed. When challenged, the partner simply obfuscated, offering misleading advice to sidestep obvious violations. This wasn’t just incompetence—it was wilful neglect bordering on incompetence. Despite clear breaches of the solicitors' code of conduct, the SRA have so far stayed silent. Meanwhile, a £2.6 billion corporation was allowed to weaponize the law against an ordinary person, and the system did nothing but sit back and let it happen. To top it all off, it later emerged that offshore players with links to serious fraud were pulling the strings behind the scenes. The whole debacle was a case study in legal failure, where the system not only failed to protect the vulnerable but actively facilitated the abuses of the powerful. The Axiom Ince scandal is a recent example of how the SRA ignored all warnings until it was too late—and in our case, it transpired those behind the scenes were directly connected to the Axiom scandal, bullying anyone who dared challenge them. This debacle will be part of a broader call for accountability, highlighting the SRA’s failures and demanding change in what currently masquerades as a legal system. Large city firms seem to prioritize billing over justice, with ratings based on turnover rather than actual skill or ethical practice. It's time to demand accountability from those who have failed to protect the vulnerable while enabling the powerful to exploit the system.
