Dec 14,2024We arrived at Jorvik Tricycles to collect a wheel for my tricycle. A lovely, professional young man called Sam showed us around the showroom. We were in awe of the showroom and tricycles available. Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had some tricycles that were ex display for sale. I would highly recommend Jorvik Tricycles to anyone who is interested in buying a tricycle - you certainly won't be disappointed.

Dec 12,2024Due to physical disadvantages and balance issues in recent years, I have had to rely upon a tricycle to keep biking, and have, for the past 2 years, been using my first trike made by a different manufacturer, kitted out with an aftermarket e kit by myself; however, recently I decided to upgrade to a Jorvik after having the opportunity to try one out. There is a massive difference between my old rattly e trike and my lovely new JMT-6, and I use the trike far more than I ever did my old'un. The build, finish and overall quality are very impressive, the running smoother and more responsive. The comfort and riding position are excellent, thanks to the range of adjustability of the seating and handlebars, the lights make it possible for me to ride after dark, and the width and grip of the tyres mean I am not restricted to just road use - there are a lot of tracks and lanes near where I live that were inaccessible to me before I switched up. The JMT-6 is also a beautiful looking machine, and where my old etrike would attract hoots of derision from my grandkids and other animals I get a lot of interest and compliments with my Jorvik. The buying and ordering experience was done online, and was seamless and safe, and my trike arrived well packed and on a pallet a few days after ordering. Assembly was four fifths done when I unboxed the trike, and the remaining assembly tasks were easy, quick and no trouble thanks to the accompanying manual and tools. As soon as I test rode the trike, it became obvious that it was in a different league to any I had tried or ridden before; you have to get accustomed to trike riding after years of 2 wheels, but the Jorvik is sure footed and feels steady and sure on the road and off it. Though etrikes are usually heavy, this is surprisingly lighter than my old one though it looks and feels "chunky", which makes it easier to get in and out of the house and garage. The only query I needed to make was dealt with perfectly over the 'phone by a lovely and helpful woman, who was patient and clear when explaining what I wanted to know. Overall a great buying and after sales experience, with an outstanding machine at the end of it. Brilliant company to deal with, an outstanding etrike, and a happy ageing geezer who is no longer restricted to maximum 15 mile joy rides. If you're in the market for an etrike for whatever reason, don't scrimp and scrape trying to save pennies, there is a huge gulf of difference in quality and ride between the Jorvik and rival trikes I had tried; buy one of these and you'll stop thinking about upgrades (like the other blokes in my group always are). The best decision I've made in years, and the company deserve 5 stars all day long. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dec 11,2024Visited yesterday, Tash couldn’t have been more helpful. A long row of different tricycles, I tried out three that looked good for someone of my height (4’11”). There was an indoor circuit to test out the bikes which was exactly what was needed. I recommend this company, well organised & great range of trikes.

Dec 03,2024I bought a JET-E tricycle from Jorvik just over a year ago and I love it! I am a 56 year old female, have Progressive M.S., very little strength in my core or legs, particularly my right leg and cannot walk without crutches but it is amazing what it's possible to achieve when a brilliant company makes a brilliant product! My visit to the showroom was fantastic - I felt nervous and didn't know whether I would be able to ride a trike, but was met very warmly by James and we were laughing in moments. It was thrilling to be able to do a circuit of the forecourt in front of the showroom...and then another, and another. Being able to balance is wonderful - I can sit still on the trike and hold a conversation. The special lever that steadily moves the trike forward (if I get stuck and can't go any further) can reassuringly get me home. The electric assist means that both my legs can keep going and in the year that has passed I have moved through the gears and am enjoying the resist and push of third gear now. The assist levels allow me a giddy zoom on flat ground if I want it - level 2 is hair-raising! - and I've once used all the way up to 5 on a humpback bridge and I got over it! Prior to M.S. I had a very active life and it is an emotional challenge when exercise becomes impossible. My trike has allowed me to travel through the world at speed again - I don't mean anything wild but a rosy-cheeked, gentle downhill in my (mostly flat) village with a bit of wind in my hair is wonderful. I am stopped all the time when people admire the trike and someone else in the village has bought one after seeing mine. A year ago I was doubtful of my own abilities and it's a pricey investment to make. Arranging a visit to the showroom and buying my trike was the best decision I could have made. Life-changing. Today I had to return a rear cargo bag -beautifully made but with a slight fault. Tash replied to my email and has arranged an immediate exchange. I am so grateful to James, Tash and the team at Jorvik. And I don't ordinarily write reviews. Don't hesitate!

Nov 22,2024First of all, I want to emphasize that I am absolutely satisfied with the JM7 product, which I bought for my disabled son. However, I missed all the positives with the Jorvik company. Delivery from the UK to Slovenia, which took two and a half months, was slightly beyond my expectations, but OK. Also, the communication, whether with the UK headquarters or the German branch, is very poor. I am in a situation where I am embarrassed to write again, since my transaction is still not completely resolved. If you offer an international service, you should automatically offer the option to buy spare parts such as a battery and charger. I was informed that this is not possible. I am afraid that if something happens to my son with the original battery, the entire electric tricycle worth 5,000 € will simply be useless to me, since I am not able to buy a replacement barrier either in the UK or in Germany. In my opinion, a very strange international service. Please consider it..

My aim was to get an idea of whether a tricycle would enable me to get round in my eighties. The lady I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful in explaining different features of the model I was interested in and I may well follow up by buying

Nov 20,2024I've been cycling my trike every day for more than 3 years and my experience is positive. Always I received all of support from Jorvik (Even though it is out of warranty by the oldest order). I replaced my brake system for a hydraulic. I repaired my connection cables. And small pieces with them. For other comum maintenances, I've my favourite technical specialist in eletric bikes. About the company, I never had any problems or some negative points. My tricycle is my baby. 'We're doing shopping, we're going anywhere (to the College, work, park, main road, another city, etc) and I carried a lot with my storage compartments. About the control and skills or abilities to use it, I think it's just training and practice. If you understand how to choice a good velocity and assistance from the battery, you can save power aswell. Usually I'm charging in two days. Perfect for hills and snow! I used when is raining or in a rarely hot summer afternoon. Any weather conditions. So, I highly recommend to buy one. Change my life forever and every single day. Make a real difference and impact in my routine and autonomy to do things by myself. I love Jorvik!!!!

Nov 19,2024Having had my previous Jorvik stolen I felt violated and lost. Not only was my independence effected but I felt alone. However there is only one way to get back into the saddle. Get on again! After studying the market and ensuring that my cycle shed was thief proof it was an easy choice so I called Jorvik with my chosen model. They could not have been more helpful or empathetic.

Nov 17,2024Hallo Herr Ludwig, nochmals herzlichen Dank für die excellente und komptetete Beratung am Sonntag in Hagen. Die Einführung des JMT11 war sehr professionell. Überzeut hat uns die hochwertige Verarbeitung, Optik, sowie Features. Das Fahren ist anders und erfordert Übung, Mit viel Geduld stand uns Herr Ludwig zur Seite. Das JMT11 haben wir für unseren Senior (88 J.) gekauft und auch gleich mitgenommen, ohne dass der Senior mit vor Ort war. Basierend auf unseren Angaben, wurde das richtige Modell gefunden. Erwähnenswert: Wir hatten mit Herrn Ludwig einen weiteren Termin im Rhein-Main-Gebiet zwecks Schulung unseres Seniors. Hierbei hatte Herr Ludwig weitere Fahrradmodelle mitgebracht zum Probe fahren, sodaß der Senior sicher war, das richtige Modell zu haben. Herzliche Grüße nach Hagen aus Offenbach

Nov 16,2024I am a volunteer with Travel Actively Barrow in Barrow in Furness. I first had a go on the Jorvik Trike on a open day. I have been lucky enough to be able to borrow on to help me get around easier. I really enjoy the freedom it gives me, I've had it 10 weeks so far and have done 900 miles just going around Barrow and a weekly trip to Ulverston. ( I have to charge the battery whilst I am in Ulverston) to guarantee getting back home again..

Dec 15,2024Pleased we visited the showroom to try out various models as we purchased a different trike to the expected one online. Aftersales videos helpful. Be prepared for a different way of riding. My experience with stability has been hampered because we live at the top of steep hill with significant road camber at junctions on all surrounding roads. Not a good place to learn! Would have been prepared to pay extra for delivery 100% assembled rather than the 90%. Trike arrived in perfect condition and at exact delivery time.
