What a really nice company .. The team at Jorvik are really helpful . I have purchased 3 tricycles from this company and I can honestly say I have always received the best care and service . The trikes are unbelievable, brilliant quality and fantastic money for the high spec . I ride my trike on all types of off road terrain and it handles like a dream … Highly recommend this company …. The photos do not do these trike justice .
Customer care so bad you couldn't make it up! The trikes are good and after three years with our first, we decided to replace my wife's with an upgrade. This is where it all went wrong. Jorvik (or the delivery company) muddled up the address labels and of course we got the wrong trike. The right one (my wife's) was picked up and delivered a few days later, but was damaged in transit having been chucked unprotected in the back of a lorry. So then the THIRD trike arrived a couple of weeks later, and yet again by using the SAME useless deliver company it arrived so badly damaged it was unrideable. We were paid £100 as a goodwill gesture, as we still had no trike. By this point I begged Jorvik not to send the fourth trike via the delivery co (a pallet network), and they promised one of their technicians would personally deliver it. They called a while later and said they were out of stock and would we accept a mid-motor model rather than a front-motor, and we said we'd give it a go. Guess what, it arrived rolling around in the back of a courier van (a company called AnyVan, as literally 'any van' will do for Jorvik) - so much for the technician delivering it personally! It wasn't damaged at least, but wasn't suitable. As the model we ordered was months away, the best Jorvik could offer was a refund. So next day we personally delivered trike number four from Northampton back to York, and the boss said we'd get another £100 as a goodwill gesture. Even then, Jorvik's customer care was abysmal, and THEY DEDUCTED OUR FIRST GOOD WILL PAYMENT FROM OUR REFUND, despite me spotting this might be the case from an advance notification and calling to say we needed a FULL refund, not one with our good will payments clawed back!! It's so bad you couldn't make it up. We have now totally given up on Jorvik and bought a second hand one off eBay. There have been many other smaller cock-ups on the way. You would have thought they'd be taking care of our purchase when it was going so wrong for the second and third time, but they still sent a 2-pin continental charger plug, and the wrong colour touch up paint etc etc. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Hooray for Yorvik Electric Tricycles and the lovely Emma for talking me through everything without any pressure whatsoever, they have increased my quality of life as I suffer from servere Trigeminal Neuralgia and blackouts with the pain so riding a normal cycle is now out of the question as if I get an attack I would literally fall straight off period! But at least with my trike I can stay upright as once you get to learn to ride these things which is not difficult in the least one can turn them on a sixpence, and also with Yorviks indoor realistic roadway circuit at there large warehouse in Wheldrake, Yorkshire you cannot ask for anything more. The after sales are second to none if you have questions. Thank you so very much Emma X and the lovely James ps. No wonder they have sold 30k plus thousand Tricycles.
Die Firmeninhaber des Unternehmens, für das ich arbeite haben mir das Trike gekauft, das man 2021 nur in Großbritannien erhalten konnte. Es ist einfach ein tolles Rad, wenn man, wie ich gehandicapt ist. Aber es ist auch für Gesunde geeignet. Es sieht sportlich und cool aus. Es ist, wie wenn ich meinen Hund ausführe. Alle Welt spricht mich an. Allerdings war es bis jetzt nicht möglich, das Trike zu warten bzw. einen Schlauch zu wechseln, als dieser kaputt ging. Ich habe bei mehr als zwei Dutzend Fahrradwerkstätten nachgefragt. Niemand war bereit, es zu reparieren geschweige denn zu warten. Ich wollte das Trike schon meinen Chefs zurück geben, als ich zufällig erfuhr, dass es seit März, April 2024 in Hagen eine Firma gibt, bei der man die Dreiräder aus York jetzt beziehen kann. Ich bat sie um Hilfe. Und sie haben mein Trike abgeholt und nach der Reparatur und Wartung zurück gebracht; und das zu einem sehr moderaten Preis. Nun macht das Fahren wieder Spaß, zumal ich eine verlässliche Werkstatt im Rücken habe. Dieses Trike ist nicht nur ein Hingucker sondern auch praktisch zum Einkaufen oder für längere Touren mit seinem enormen Stauraum. Dazu ist es wendig und schnell. Allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig in Kurven.
Recently purchased a jmt3 wow wow wow … It handles like a dream ! I used to be a keen mountain bike rider but a back issue stopped that until now … Back out mountain triking and absolutely loving every second of it again This machine has given me my freedom back … Jorvik customer service has been amazing … they have been really helpful with all my questions . Highly recommend
Amazing service, I know I was a pain as a Autistic person I find it hard ordering things online. But even with my fear of the phone they very patient even when I ordered the wrong trike. Thank you.
My Jorvik trike developed a fault while on holiday in Europe Having contacted Jorvik they suggested a few things to try but unfortunately this didn’t work. I was still able to use it. We agreed with Jorvik to take my trike back to them on my return to the uk Took it back and I must say the team were brilliant they replaced several parts to make sure they solved the fault and all within a few days Special thanks to James for your excellent service
Fabulous tricycle! I have the Jet E Elite Low Step Through Electric. Although I'm rubbish at riding it so far mainly because of bad roads where I live. The steering spins round on me which is a bit scary but I'm sure I'll sort it out. I have found a small tarmac area near by which is flat so I'm going to try on that. Can I ride her on the playing field if it's ever dry again! When I sort out the riding technique she will be the best thing for me, I live in a hilly area and with arthritis and other health issues I can't wait to get going
Avoid this organisation like the plague! The product is basically OK, but the customer service and support are, as another reviewer has said, the worst I have ever experienced. Incompetence, back-tracking and calling customers liars seem to be the stock-in-trade of this business. I'm not sharing details of my experience to avoid being harassed and threatened with legal action in the way that other negative reviewers claim to have been. EDIT: The hassling has started. Jorvik are asking Trustpilot for my email address and there’s a threat that my review will be removed if I don’t provide them. I want nothing further to do with Jorvik, but here’s a small selection of the things that went wrong. The trike wasn’t delivered on the promised day. They tried to fudge this by saying the delivery date was an estimate, but I’d phoned to rearrange and was given a clear assurance that it would come on a specified date. The pre-assembly of the trike was not as described. The trike was difficult to assemble. The instructions are inadequate for anyone except a bike/trike engineer to follow. The battery was flat and could not be charged. The trike is unstable if the road has a camber. Jorvik’s approach to customers’ problems is rude and dismissive. Their motto is obviously ‘The customer is always wrong’.
I bought my Jorvik Elite E trike in 2021. It arrived, sight unseen, as we were mid-Covid. It is such a beautiful and impressive piece of kit. I have Parkinson’s and was no longer able to ride a “normal” bike because my balance is too bad. I fell in love with the trike immediately and found it easy and such a delight to ride. It has been an absolute revelation and now I am able to ride with Richard, my husband, again, which is such a pleasure. It also helps with my exercise regime as the electric assist means that I still have to pedal, which can be quite hard on our steep roads in west Wales. I try to only use the motor on stage 1. I cannot recommend the Jorvik tricycles enough, their attention to detail, build quality and helpfulness of their staff is outstanding.
DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM I have just read the review put on by Order number 1718229941 and to reiterate I have had the same sort of experience and consider this company probably one of the worst I have ever encountered in respect of poor customer service. I purchased a trike from this company late June 2024, initially when purchasing, they could not be more helpful. After calls and reassurance that the trike worked as I expected it would, I purchased it, but it appears that it does not work as the older versions do (or work as per the manual they supplied with the product) so I was given false information and basically mis sold this item. I have a bad knee and a leg injury making riding this over distance without a standalone throttle very difficult for me, but the customer service changed as soon as I approached them ref both the calls my husband had made and the information in the manual they supplied. I have been waiting over two weeks for an answer but keep getting told they are checking phone calls (which I had to tell them when and how many calls were made, as they denied the calls were even made) To say Jorvik were very unhelpful is an understatement the returns process is the worst I have ever seen because whichever way you go, you would fail the returns requirements and therefore I would not be entitled to a refund, if that fails then they can say the trike was damaged and also refuse a refund. In my opinion don’t ever deal with this company as they really do not care if you have a problem. To say I found them to be unreasonable and misleading is really an understatement. I so wish I had read reviews before ordering and not trusted Jorvik.
Where to start? I have been an avid of road cyclist for many years, both solo and Tandem with my brother. I am now older and partially disabled. I'll buy a trike I thought! Huge mistake!! Jorvik have simply got it all wrong. This thing has hospitalized me twice. I ride traditionally with legs at full length toe to hip. Hence, seat post at full height. the wheelbase on these things is quite narrow. the slightest camber or curb and your off the bugger simple as that. The balloon tires done help. This is advertised as an offroad trike, oh really? How many 20" mountain bikes have you seen lately? Take this this thing anywhere vaguely bumpy and say goodbye to ever having kids again and the skin on your bloody elbows and knees. As for the front suspension,Budget doesn't cover it rock solid, or like a jelly on springs. Oh, and can anybody tell me the reason behind putting nobly tires on the back axle when its front wheel drive? It like a bloody swarm of bees chasing you around on the tarmac. Drives me crazy. I am going to have to give them a call to ask if they can send me a new rear mudguard I lost one in my last somersault offroad!!!
The staff were so helpful and very friendly. I needed two trips to make sure what I wanted was perfect for me. It was.
What a lovely company , could not have been any more help . Purchased a trike for my mum , who was struggling to use , they offered for her to go to their showroom and Elton spent time showing her the ropes . She is now out every day on her beloved trike .. I can recommend them enough .
Enjoying getting out again on my JMT 6 had it for a couple of months and loving life got my local bike shop to put it together as not that technical myself top quality tricycle very happy

Having spent £3500 on a tricycle we discovered when we got it back home that we had the wrong instruction manual. The tricycle also did not operate as expected on one of the first attempts - the motor did not cut in. On contacting the company I was offered an electronic copy of the manual because the booklets come with the bikes. I asked again for a booklet and was promised that this would be posted to me. I also spoke to Emma, the manager, who offered to send me a video on how to operate the tricycle. Two weeks later and neither the booklet nor the video have arrived so I called again and was told by the manager that she could not remember our conversation and they had been very busy with the trade shows. Although we felt assured by the staff when we visited to test ride the tricycle, since the purchase there has been a marked shift in attitude.
I live in Spain and after a lot of research decided to buy a tricycle from Jorvick because of the positive reviews on this site. This was in February and I offered to pay in sterling but was told I had to pay the euro price indicated on their Spanish website so I used Wise to convert my sterling , paid all the relative conversion fees to make sure they received to correct amount. I had to contact them to confirm that they received my payment and they confirmed payment. I waited and waited and as the weeks went by I was concerned that I had not received a delivery date. When I contacted them they said there was a delay in the delivery of the batteries and it would be another couple of weeks. Weeks went by and it was always another couple of weeks until finally I said I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund of my euros which had been paid into their Global bank account. Firstly I received a non person email suggesting I buy a more expensive bike that they did have in stock. I replied that I just wanted a refund. Eventually on the 3 June I received a payment from Jorvik to my Spanish euro account but instead of paying the amount of euros I sent them they refunded me in sterling so I ended up 105 euros short. I have spent from that date to now trying to receive the short fall in my refund. They say they are still waiting for answer from their bank. The problem is simply they did not refund me in euros and by refunding in sterling I ended up paying all the banking and currency fees. They may think that 105 euros is an insignificant amount to them but as a pensioner it is a lot of money. I’m sure that if I had received the trike I would have been happy with my purchase but instead I have had 4 months of stress. Just an update on the situation. I appreciate the reply here from Jorvik but it is now the end of July and I have still not received the outstanding amount due for my refund. They are ignoring my emails. I do not see why your issue with your bank stops me from getting the correct refund. Who ever decided to refund me in sterling made the mistake but I am the one paying for it

Very well explained on all the features on the bikes. It’s great you have a little road layout to test ride on which I could have done with when I got my first trike.
