Oct 30,2024The beginning of my jorvic journey was a bit bumpy, unfortunately the wrong colour Trike was delivered although the box was correct. Then a problem with pallet company collecting and delivering. That being said Tash and Emma were wonderful and helped sort it all out and seemed genuinely concerned. I now have my Trike, and whilst it does take some getting used to, the sense of freedom is amazing. It’s comfortable and quite powerful. I love it, it’s bright red so draws a lot of attention, but strangers are stopping me to say what a great looking Trike. I have a problem with my knee and this Trike has made me active again. Even my doctor is happy as it’s exercising my thighs and knee joint. Thank you Jorvic for a great product. I’m back experiencing the great outdoors once more.

Oct 29,2024I live in Northumberland and have spinal stenosis made worse when I fell off my mountain bike. An email alerted me to Jorvik trikes and I travelled to their showroom in York to trial one. A great setting with a chance to try a variety of trikes on an indoor track. They are obviously different to ride than a traditional 2 wheel bike but great fun. I haven’t had a chance to try mine out yet as I’ve just had knee surgery but know my choice of all terrain road worthy trike will allow me to get back into nature and have fun doing so👍 The Jorvik team were great and I bought added extras I knew I would personally need. Trike was delivered on time by a lovely guy who added my ‘extras’ onto my trike while he was here. I can’t fault my experience at all and can hardly contain my excitement while I wait to use it once I recover from surgery.

Oct 14,2024Cycling has been a life long passion for me so when I suffered a stroke 2 years ago it left me with balance problems which meant the end of cycling. I tried a couple of trikes but still felt ‘wobbly’ and unsafe. I booked an hours session with James at the Jorvik centre and he knew immediately which model trike would suit my needs - JETE16 Elite Low Step Through. The smaller wheels make it stable and I feel confident and safe. My trike has changed my life and given me back my independence and ability to enjoy outdoor exercise. Being foldable it means it can fit in the car. It is however heavy for one person to lift. Communication with the Jorvik team was excellent throughout.

Oct 06,2024Hallo Herr Ludwig, endlich habe ich ein Dreirad .... und dazu noch ein besonderes, ein "Jorvik Trike JET E2 FH. Ich übe schon fleißig und gewöhne mich langsam an meinem neuen "Gefährt". Es macht Spaß und ich bin die Sensation hier bei uns in der Senioren Residenz, sowas tolles hat hier niemand. Auch im Alter (80) kann man noch Freude an Bewegung haben, man braucht nur das richtige Gefährt. Aber was auch ganz wichtig für meine Wahl war, Ihr außergewöhnlich guten Service den Sie bieten, mir das Dreirad bis nach Neustadt in Holstein persönlich zu bringen. Ich weiß es wirklich zu schätzen ! Ich werde Sie und Ihre Firma mit Freude weiterempfehlen und sende herzliche Grüße von der schönen Ostsee. Doris. T.

Having ridden a Jorvik Tricycle JMT11 at an event in Bath, I found it was just what I needed to get me out and about.

Sep 30,2024I visited the showroom recently. It has the full range of trikes several of which I was able to try on their indoor circuit. Tash, who guided and advised me, was very kind and gave wise advice to an old man which resulted in me subsequently buying a trike. I would strongly recommend both Jorvik tricycles and a visit to the showroom. It is easy and straightforward to book.

Sep 29,2024i have had electric bikes for a number of years and now have a jet e 2 which is fine till you come to a incline and then i get so little help from the mid drive motor that i get off and walk up the inclines can any body give me any help with this problem remember this is not even a hill its small inclines👆

Sep 26,2024I found Jorvik online and the website is easy to navigate and has lots of helpful information on it. I spoke to a lovely gal call Tash who explained the difference between a front and mid hub and I settled on a JET E2 FH in black. I didn’t visit the showroom as the pics online are more than sufficient and I was sure that even with the riding style difference I would be able to get to grips with it. I am used to a 2 wheeled electric bike with a mid hub. I used to use my regular electric cycle a lot but after some significant spinal surgery found that the constant mounting and dismounting properly, combined with the weight of the bike was a bit too much and I was falling off and doing a stunt roll on occasion! My new trike was delivered as promised and arrived in excellent condition. The carriers they use for delivery are very good. I did have to use the manual to complete the build. It’s easy when you know how I’m sure but me and a spanner … well. Using the trike takes some mental adjustment and the wide berth cars were giving me suggests I am riding like a learner haha. It takes a little while to get to grips with it but it’s wonderful fun and I improved massively today over the hour I had it out. It doesn’t ride like a 2 wheeled bike as such if that what you are used to. The seat is excellent! Most comfy seat I have had on a bike! The bike is really not slow pulling away! Significantly easier to move away from a standstill than my mid hub bike. I really appreciate this difference. Overall I would say that the buying experience has been positive. Nice people, great product, delivered carefully and as described.Packaged well for transit. I would have stopped riding a bike if I hadn’t purchased this trike so well done across the board to Jorvik!

Sep 24,2024My wife and I are in our eighties who until recently rode an electrically assisted tandem as an aide to keeping fit. I am aware that my balance has deteriorated and in the interest of safety we decided to look for an alternative. After searching the internet I found Jorvik tricycles and booked an appointment to view and ride their products. We were greeted by a young lady, Tash who’s was a brilliant host. Being a gentleman I let my wife have first go on on an Elite. She soon got the hang of it and went round the circuit without Tash guiding the handle bar. When I had a go I was hopeless! I kept trying to ride it like a bicycle. I even put my foot down when I stopped.James came on the track having seen my woeful performance and offered advice and I soon improved. After a couple of circuits I felt quite comfortable and confident although I realise I need more practice. James suggested we try and put the tricycles in my car, a Skoda Kodiaq. It was a two man job but two Elites went in unfolded. We were both surprised. The upshot of our visit was that we are now awaiting delivery of two tricycles. The whole experience was great and James and Tash were really helpful and patient especially when dealing with me. If you fancy a trike give this firm a go, I am sure you’ll be as impressed as I was

Sep 24,2024After 50 years of hill-walking in Scotland - my principal recreation - my age, plus lungs requiring 24/7 oxygen, plus chronic stenosis / sciatica see me scarcely able to walk. Latterly I was able to use an e-bike, though, until deteriorating balance made this unsafe. A very bad situation. A son suggested a trike, and after researching, proposed Jorvik. I studied the website, and then visited the showroom by appointment. An hour-and-a half of unhurried, helpful advice / suggestions and several test rides on the track saw us check that my choice of a folding Jorvik JET-E2-FH would fit in the car. It did and I proceeded to buy one. Delivery was exactly as promised. Setting up the trike saw a couple of queries which were dealt with over the phone, and videos specific to my queries were e-mailed wthin minutes. These were ideal - with so many models, and changing specifications, it would be impractical to produce model-specific paper manuals - or even YouTube videos! In the last week I have completed three trips of 20-26 miles, two from home and one by car in N.W. Scotland. By the third trip I had mastered smooth operation of the gear / assistance controls, and learned how to cope safely with speed, road cambers, corners, and passing cars on narrow roads. I am very impressed by the design and build. Good saddle and handlebar height adjustments make for a most comforable ride, as do the flat but shaped hand grips. Oxygen concentrator goes in the basket, and the spacious cargo bag is so useful for other things. I could go on... The trike itself is everything I hoped for and it has already transformed my house-bound life - it was 16 months since my wife and I were able to go on biking day trips together. So no hesitation in offering 5 stars to those who design and build the trike, and to the staff who dealt with me in the showroom and re my telephone enquiries. P.S. The trike attracted a lot of interest and admiration on my days out

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten (falsche Hausnummer, nur engl.Anleitung usw) bin ich richtig zufrieden mit dem JMT6 .Meine Enkelkinder waren ganz begeistert und meinten:das coolste bei Oma war das Dreirad. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist es am Anfang schon,aber von Tag zu Tag werde ich sicherer. Nochmals vielen Dank und LG aus Bayern

Sep 20,2024I recently picked up my new Jorvik Elite 16 trike, my first trike ever. The process was great with the company. We went for an hour’s free trial and decided to order. As we live on the north west of Scotland we decided to, again, combine pick up with a holiday. It was all very smooth and helpful. I am loving using my trike while on holiday. It folds beautifully in to our Campervan and is easy to put up and down. I am taking things slowly and enjoying every minute. From having an e-bike but not enjoying the experience due to fear of falling off I feel totally safe on my trike. It was a big investment but totally worth it. Thank you Jorvik Trikes!

Sep 19,2024I had the best experience at the Jorvik showroom!! I have been wanting to purchase a tricycle for a couple of years from this company, but I hadn't had the idea of what kind to get. When we decided to come to York for our holiday I jumped at the chance to ask to come here while we were on holiday, and it was pretty much the first stop on our journey to York. Tash helped me out during my booking and she was monumentally helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better person to show me the bikes. Thankfully my dad was there who owns an electric bike (not a jorvik one) so he knew some of the more technical questions go ask. I had in mind of getting a mountain one due to me wanting to get more active and exercise more. But after trying a few, with Tash helping me get confident using one, especially once I turned the electrics on, I still wasn't quite sure as the ones I tried were a bit uncomfortable to sit on. It wasn't until my sister pointed out the bike a customer was purchasing. Which was the jet16. So I decided to try that one and it was perfect!! It was electric, foldable and Tash said tho it's not as big wheeled as a mountain bike, I can still use it outside, just not as rocky. What also helped was James showing off just how amazing it is and resilient. He also showed how it folds and what parts need to be connected when it arrives. The thing that also got in my head was it might not likely fit in my car, nor could I single handedly put it in. But that is something I will sort out in the future. I won't be purchasing one at the moment due to not having anywhere to put it, but with their help and my family asking questions I didn't think of (tho I did have questions which were answered) I cannot wait to eventually purchase one. I also want to thank you guys because I stayed an extra 15-20 minutes but you guys didn't mind since I had questions to ask. I cannot wait to get one, knowing at last which one to get, and I will be choosing the matt teal. I would have questions to ask them before my purchase such as whether I could purchase the seat with the backing and have that attached instead, and also whether the jorvik tricycles shirts I saw hanging up were for sale and if I could purchase one :D Thank you Tash and James for everything you guys did, what you guys do is amazing and Tash made me feel more confident during the session. Looking forward to when I eventually make my purchase:)

James understood my neurological challenges, needs & requirements, & spent a lot of time with me going through various specifics thoroughly. The test rides & 1:1 supervision/guidance were fantastic & resulted in purchasing a Jorvik Mountain Tricycle JMT6 & accessories, which I was absolutely delighted about! The service I received from test riding, to purchasing, delivery updates & support in assembling the Tricycle was absolutely excellent. I have neurological conditions cerebral palsy & dystonia causing walking, balance & mobility issues, out door activities socially & individually are very limited. I absolutely love my new tricycles, it's going to give me freedom & independence & a new lease of life in so many ways which means such a lot to me, it's just amazing. Thank you Jorvik Team
