Dec 13,2023We loved our stay at the Makalea home in Poipu. We had four couples in our group and the home was the perfect size and well-appointed. We spent most of our time on the lanai and in the pool. The kitchen had all the gadgets and equipment you'd need to cook meals. The whole-house sound system with Pandora was a great feature. We opened the outdoor grill to find it rusted out with only one burner working. Kauai Exclusive sent Curtis to take a look. Within a couple hours he was back with a new grill. We appreciated the quick turnaround. We visit Poipu about once a year. This was our first time renting with Kauai Exclusive. I would definitely book the Makalea home again!

We loved having equipment in the garage we could use like boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear. Good response time to requests for help with clogged drain and malfunctioning shower head.

Nov 30,2023We were very pleased with the amenities and condition of our unit. The staff of Kauai Exclusive were excellent and provided us with great service. Our unit provided 2 king size beds which were very comfortable and a tv in every room. Everything was well marked and the kitchen was large and well supplied. Having a garage and parking at our door was helpful. Our outside patio had a dining area and a lounging area. There were beach supplies provided in the garage that were very handy. Would definitely stay here again.

Nov 29,2023Great location. We loved having morning coffee on the lanai. Beds were super comfortable. Some issues include little things like no CAN opener, glass cleaner due to all the glass table tops. The A/C vents in the master were aggressive and no way to adjust. But overall we had a wonderful time. We had friends and relatives also staying at Waipouli and our condo was the meeting place.

They were very responsive and helpful with any questions and even reached out a few weeks in advance to book any adventures we were interested in with their concierge service. The check in process was very smooth as well. Would highly recommend this company for your rental bookings!

Nov 17,2023The process of booking and arriving with the keyless entry is so easy at the end of a long travel day. Pili Mai is a wonderful complex with well appointed units and amenities. As always the unit was very clean and ready when I arrived, the starter items are a fantastic touch. These details keep me coming back to rent.

Nov 07,2023Unit 531 was very disappointing! We arrived to a unit with a tarp hanging from the inside ceiling in the living room due water leak. During our visit they installed a structure outside the back porch that allowed acces to the porch and visible access inside our unit. There were no window coverings! My next update will go to TripAdvisor.

Dec 19,2023The management company reached out ahead of our trip with plenty of information. They evidently were accessible at almost all times if we needed anything, but we never did, the property was superb and well maintained. Will certainly utilize them next time we return to Kauai.
