Sep 13,2023The unit we rented was in an excellent location and had gorgeous views. However, the unit was not the cleanest. We found dust and hair everywhere. The dishwasher was also left dirty. When we went to run the dishwasher, we realized the dishwasher was completely broken. We had to hand wash every single dish, glass, cutlery, pot/pan, etc. as none of them were clean. The conditions of the pans were atrocious and need a full replacement. They were completely cut up and unsafe to use. The furniture in the secondary bedroom was ridiculous and only left you a 5 inch gap to walk between the tv console table and the corner of the bed to get to the other side of the bed.

Communication was clear and they are in constant contact with you for whatever you need. The ladies, Jeannette and Jenna were awesome! Jeanette was so kind and welcoming thru the entire process and even recognized my mom’s bday with a special aloha basket upon our arrival. Will recommend to family and friends coming to Kauai! Sep 09,2023Mahalo for a really nice stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and it was very comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but most of the time when we have stayed in Hawaii there has always been beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkeling gear and even boogie boards. I was sad that the reservation did not include those items and we had to purchase and rent them. The second unit we stayed in in for the 2nd half of our vacation in the same complex included all of those items. Mahalo

Sep 07,20234 stars because the pans where not looked at and there was still food on them from the prior tenants. When we arrived there was no toilet paper but Kauai management quickly corrected that and brought some over.

Sep 04,2023This penthouse unit has a killer view of the tropical landscaped grounds and the pool with a meandering lazy river, waterfalls, two water slides and three jacuzzis. Plenty of patio tables/chairs and lounge chairs surrounding the pool. The view from the unit extends past the grounds to the gorgeous Coconut Coast. This unit is pleasantly decorated and well equipped with all of the comforts of home...and then some!

Sep 01,2023The place we stayed at was very clean. We appreciated the open floor plan as well as the snorkel gear, beach towels as we didn’t have to go rent them. The bed was super comfortable. Grateful for the extra bath towels as well as washer and dryer as this made our stay so much more convenient.

Sep 15,2023This review is based on staying at the Waipouli Beach Resort for five nights. First the positive: This beachfront unit had a beautiful, unobstructed beach and ocean view. It was a top-floor, end unit on the side away from the pool, so it was quiet. It had good quality, comfortable furniture. Now the negatives: The unit had a musty smell that did not go away even though we opened the doors and windows. The dish washer was broken. The management company told us it could not be repaired until the evening before out departure. So they left us paper plates and plastic utensils. But we still had to hand wash the glasses, coffee cups, bowls and knives we used. None of the bathrooms have drawers, so everything you use will have to find space on the counter. In our building, the elevator had a strong smell of insect spray every day as did the hallway on our floor. The hallway carpet looked worn with long streaks that appeared to be dirt or grease. The resort has a strict pool towel policy limiting each unit to six towels per day regardless of how many people are staying in the unit. They take your name and unit number and write down how many towels you take each day. If you've taken six and returned them all and then decided to go back out to the pool, tough luck. The resort in general has a tired, decaying feeling. Many of the pool chairs had torn pads with the stuffing showing. Others were dirty. Overall, we were disappointed and cannot recommend the resort. We would not stay there again.
