Aug 02,2023There was an issue with our washing machine in our unit that they told us about when we arrived. It was a front load unit and we were told that in order to use the washer, we had to press on the door to hold it shut and then press the start button. Once the cycle started, the door lock would engage and keep it closed. On our 3rd day we washed some clothes. I did as instructed and pressed start while holding the door shut. Washer started no problem, but the door lock did not engage. So once I quit holding the door shut, the door would pop open and water would flood out onto the floor. I tried this again over 15 times without any luck and now there is water in the washer and I had to stand and press hard against the door the entire 30 min short wash cycle to get it to complete. I had no choice as the washer was filled with water, so I had to get the cycle to complete. We complained, but they said that the ordered replacement part was in route. So we had to goto a laundry mat one time during the trip. I get it that appliances fail. I just wish that they told us not to use it.

Jul 29,2023Having a beautiful place to stay made our vacation even better, The host are great people and wonderful to work with … as well as the cleaning crew had the place cleaned immaculately …loved hanging out on the lanai , That was my favorite definitely would stay there again.

Jul 28,2023We absolutely loved our stay with Kauai Exclusive! Everything was perfect and this was our 2nd time staying at the Waipouli Beach Resort and we will be back! We really enjoy the pool, the waterslides and just the amazing views this resort has to offer. The unit was clean and as described and we appreciated the goodies left for us upon arrival! Also appreciated that they provided all we would need as far as paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. We can't wait to come back!

Jul 25,2023While customer service was quick to reply and try to help, the resort maintenance issues were a real problem. On day 1, we had supper in the oven but no potholders to take it out-a kind neighboring unit helped us out. On day 2, the handle to the bathroom door came off, locking one of our kids inside until we could get it figured out. The garbage disposal didn’t work, only identified after we needed it, so we had the gross job of cleaning it back out for the sink to function in the meantime because we needed to hand wash the dishes all week because the dishwasher didn’t have power. Maintenance fixed the bathroom door while we were there, and addressed the garbage disposal, but couldn’t fix the dishwasher, and we spent quite a bit of time disrupting our plans to either be present or away from the unit because the staff needed access. It was very disappointing for such a pricey stay.

Jul 23,2023Very professional services and will definitely use Kauai Exclusive Management in the future. Timely communication throughout the entire process and quick to pick up the phone when we called during our stay. The entire process is dialed in and makes this portion of the travel day a breeze. We stayed at the Waipouli Beach Resort and would definitely stay at this location again during our next stay in Kauai. The location is fantastic with groceries, shopping, and dining an easy walk away. In between the South and North shores, and a short drive from the airport. The resort style pool is super nice, and your steps from the beach. You can take a dip in the ocean in front of the resort, but it is very rocky. Sand beaches are not too far away for better swimming and water activities like bodyboarding and surfing. Can't wait to do it again next year, Mahalo!

Jul 15,2023Kaui Kailani Unit 310A. Got to the unit and found that the units air did not work. After several calls finally was told that they tried to call and email to tell me. Neither happened. Then I was told they could move me to a smaller place and it would cost 1000 more. Really? You are in the management hospitality business and that’s the answer. So now I get to trudge out and find my own place and waste another of my days. I haven’t slept a wink since it’s about 100 degrees in here. On top of that The floors of this place have never seen a mop. The are absolutely filthy. I walked around for 30 minutes and my feet are absolutely black. Finally spoke to Danese at 9:30 at night who reiterated that fact they were going to do nothing. At 650 dollars a night I would expect a little more. After that call I got a bill for the one night. Since it was too late to move at that point. Sad is the only word that comes to mind.Someone should have stepped up and taken care of their customer.
