Jul 05,2022The cottage was clean, well priced, and surprisingly cool for a rental in summer w/o air conditioning. The concierge service makes this rental great! Anytime u have a question, need something etc, they are available. It’s a mile walk to beach or very short car drive.

Pictures just don’t do this place justice, the living room and kitchens were spacious and great fro hanging out, the pool was huge and we absolutely loved coming back to this great house every day after our adventures. The neighborhood was quiet and central to so many things we wanted to do. We loved everything about the house!

Jul 03,2022I am so impressed with Kauai Exclusive. From booking to check out, the process was smooth and easy. The cottage in Hanalei was clean and had everything I needed. Make sure you check out the supplies provided before doing your shopping, I bought things I didn't need. Dolphin Cottage 3 was conveniently located but just far enough from the hubbub to be very peaceful. The management company was also very responsive and quick to answer any question via email or telephone. I would definitely book with Kauai Exclusive again.

Jun 30,2022While the place itself was well maintained and clean, one of the bath tubs was clogged upon arrival and the house was too hot. They sent someone to clean the place. However, they refused to turn the temperature below 70F. This was brutal as it was hot in Hawaii and it was difficult to sleep at night. They actively controlled the temperature in the house externally, causing the thermostat to reset every few hours. While the place and location was great, for the amount of money spent on the accommodation, I wish they would let us enjoy the place to our liking.

It was so great having a spacious place with a beautiful restroom and great bed to come back to after a day at the beach or on an excursion. You cannot put a price on being able to walk to the beach, pool, and convenience store I'm 2 min.

Jun 30,2022We haven’t been back to Hawaii in 8 yrs and with some of the Covid 19 protocol in place, things were a little different. However, everything wonderful we remember about the Waipouli Resort were still the same. Our room was beautiful and thoroughly cleaned. Any employees that we dealt with gave us true Hawaiian hospitality! The grounds were even more beautiful than we remembered. The Oasis was busy every night making a real memorable experience for diners to dine and drink on the ocean’s shore!

Jun 29,2022The location was ideal and we felt safe an secure. The Lanai was lovely to relax and eat on. Communication was easy and everything that we needed was provided. However, there was an infestation of bugs- ants, cockroaches and maybe termites- that only seemed to get worse as our stay progressed. We didn't leave any food out and kept doors closed the best we could (the sliding glass lanai door does not fully close). When we reported this to management, they brought over traps and spray for us to use and it helped a little, but there were bugs crawling everywhere and frankly I couldn't wait to leave by the end. It would have been better planning to have this taken care of ahead of time (especially since it was known before we arrived) or to have offered us something more for the unpleasantness we experienced.

Jun 27,2022The condo itself was beautiful with amazing ocean views. There were definitely some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The oven doesn’t work which had to be known prior to arrival as the breaker was turned off. I turned the breaker on and the oven would beep continuously therefore I turned it back off. The dishwasher does not drain leaving the dirty water in the bottom. The jets in the master tube do not work. There was also no ice chest in the unit. One of the bowls in the kitchen was taped together with painters tape.

Jun 26,2022We totally enjoyed our stay at this home. The dining room table is amazing. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family of 11. I was taken by surprise when we arrived to find the living room, kitchen, dining room and master suite upstairs. I am slightly challenged so doing the steps were difficult. You probably should mention this on the website.

Jun 23,2022This is a great place to stay. It is a short walk to the beach and food and a short drive to shops and more restaurants. The condo is spacious and very clean. The downstairs bath needs a new shower head, but usable. The beaches in the area are great. The only challenge was getting foodstuffs. We recommend stopping at Walmart before leaving Lihue. Can't wait to go again!
