some of the parts to my factor shed were faulty. Been waiting since mid May for parts now it’s almost october. no sign of the parts no updates forthcoming and no indication of if it when they will ever materialise. meanwhile keter continue to sell the exact same model. So clearly do have access to parts. I can no longer return the shed to retailer due to time elapsed so i’m out the cost of the shed the base and the assembly and feel i’m being fobbed off. If you continue to sell the sheds you clearly do have the parts but not willing to send me them. Having read the other reviews clearly this is tactical to try and save keter money and they don’t ever intend to honour the warranty and deliver the parts, they just hope you shut up and go away and make do with the botched parts they originally sent. They’re quite happy to continue selling the exact same parts on their site to new unsuspecting customers though. Case number 01158519
We purchased the bin shed. Online it’s advertising and showing a wheelie bin inside the bin shed. We received ours and not only does the standard size bin not fit in, the product is flimsy and certainly now worth the money! I did email Keter and all they said was we deal with the replacement of damaged/missing parts. So not interested.
Update afterwards Keter CS contacted me again and give me a solution in couple of days. They sent me the replacement unit. The delivery has made ard 2wks. Appreciated for their prompt response after this review. Original review I bought my shed since Nov2023. The door has deteriorated just used for 6months. I email to customer service and ask for delivery the affected parts however, they said it is still out of stock for months. I still haven’t got any replace parts yet in sept2024. The warranty is useless and it make me so disappointed.
Had a problem with one of the hinges on my Store it out ultra. Anita sorted me out when I explained the problem. Set of new hinges despatched and recieved next day. Brilliant service.
The customer service team went out of there way to help myself and my wife get the parts that we needed.being old age pensioners we don’t usually get that sort of help a special thank you to keter for employing someone that takes the keter customer service team to another level(Avital Waintrov)thank you. I must add avital did not know that I was a pensioner as I didn’t disclose that .excellent service from keter team.
In some recent high winds, the piston hinges of my 4 year old Keter grand storage unit became distorted, preventing from shutting properly. I contacted Dana in Keter customer services who kindly agreed to replace the hinges, despite the unit being out of warranty. As they were not in stock, and they do not normally keep spares, she kindly back ordered these for me. Last week, they came back in stock and I received them a few days ago. All now fitted and the storage unit is back in regular use. I could not be happier. Thank you Dana and the very helpful team at Keter.
The hinges on my outside store had rusted through and I contacted Keter to be able to buy some new ones. They very kindly sent me two hinges completely free of charge - now that is amazing service. They are fitted and work perfectly.
Poor customer service. My new shed arrived damaged. some parts missing with a massive hole in the box. Called customer service and they sent an email weeks ago saying the parts are not in stock but are on back order. I have a feeling they will not come. Bought the shed after seeing in it Homebase. They said they could not order me a brown one but I would have to settle for the green. That was ok but the door handle is different and not as good as the one on show. I sent an email to them which has been ignored That's not good.
Keter Detroit Tall Indoor Garage Storage Cabinet - Black Argos - 318/5207 Utter garbage. Joints difficult to detach if put in incorrectly. Parts broke off because of the difficulty in disassembly. Instructions - usual pictograms Many bits to assemble the flimsy product, which, of course, I did not succeed in completing for obvious reasons! Marked down from £100 to £48 pounds in sale. Wanted something quick but didn't expect to receive such garbage. Will take back to Argos, not for a refund but just to get rid of a pile of plastic junk - don't thing my binmen will accept it.
Reported a problem with my bin store lid. Have had this for some time. Hila Heaps was extremely helpful and dealt with me in a very patient and understanding manner.
I ordered a Darwin Shed 6x8ft - Brown direct from Keter on 30th July 2024. It was delivered in two boxes. Unfortunately, box 2 was damaged, visibly torn in places and after removing all parts from the boxes for inspection, a door panel and the window panel were crushed and can't be used. I also found the cuts (for the Window) over ran, which is a bit un-professional, I expected a machine precision cut. The over cut will probably be masked by the actual Window frame, but still, you'd expect professionals to do a better job. I don't think Keter pack their sheds well for shipping, pretty much every panel has a slight scratch all the way down as they don't put a bit of cardboard between each panel, so as packers slide the panels into the box, one on top of the other, they're getting scratched. £720 before discount, is a lot of money to pay for a resin shed you can't even build due to damage. I reported the damage via the Keter phone no. provided on their website but this department appears to be a separate company to Keter, as they have no access to Keter's website and order details. Keter's website, doesn't provide an invoice / receipt in PDF format, so I then had to mess about logging into the Keter website and printing my order into a PDF file so I could provide this to the company responsible for dealing with missing parts / damages. I was informed the following day via Email, that there were no replacement parts in the UK warehouse and that they would be put on back order. As of the 24th September 2024, I've heard nothing further about my replacement parts and I've missed what bit of good weather the UK had, to build the Keter shed this Summer. So my old wooden shed, which is currently leaking and rotting, is now sheltering 2 large Keter boxes, whilst I wait for the replacement parts to arrive. As I wanted to build a wooden base for the Keter shed, I think this project will carry over to 2025 as I've missed the good weather for building and painting the base. What rubs salt in the wounds is the main Keter website keeps sending me offers and discounts via Email but nothing about my replacement parts. Keter has a lot of room for improvement!
The locking bolt on my Keter storage box snapped. On 25/04/2024 I contacted Keter, On 01/05/2024 Keter told me the part was not in stock at the moment and the part had been placed on backorder. Once back in stock, it would be sent out. One hundred and forty-seven even days later the part is still not in stock.
Had already bought a Nova shed which I found to be of very good quality. Bought an Eden bench from Amazon (unfortunately had to keep it in the hallway still boxed up because the place I wanted to put it wasn't ready). There was a part missing when i came to put it together, so I contacted Keter themselves and it's taken several weeks but I have received the part. I now have a wonderful bench.
Five or so years ago I bought a large outdoor storage unit from Keter, one with a piston hinged lid and two front doors. In the interim years my Keter unit was moved (empty) a couple of times by me to allow my house to be painted. Recently I noticed one of the piston hinges was bending when closing the lid. It go worse with time and was clearly about to shear and urgently needed replacing. Pattern replacements were available on the Internet for around £30 a pair but I decided I'd rather buy genuine parts even if they were a bit more expensive. Keter did not have a spares section on the website and an email confirmed that they only replaced parts under warranty. I then sent a second email regarding my dissapointment and questioning Ketter's environmental commitment given that they had no repair policy beyond their standard warranty. I had resigned myself to purchasing "pattern" parts when I received another email from Keter offering to supply replacement hinges as a good will gesture free of charge. After sending off details, new hinges arrived promptly in the mail and have now been fitted and are working perfectly. Top marks for Keter for this. I do however think that they should consider their policy on spare parts. I would have been happy to pay for my new hinges and surely it is better to takes steps to ensure that their products do not unnecessarily end up being scrapped albeit recycled for want of an easily replaced component. Remember, the envronmetal priority order is: Repair; reuse; recycle.
I ordered the Keter Darwin 4 x 6ft shed from Homebase and it arrived in damaged cardboard packaging and when I opened it, sure enough, there was crush damage and a crack to the top two panels in the box. The thin cardboard packaging is completely inadequate to protect the contents, as there is no padding within to protect the plastic panels. Not acceptable when paying £400 for a Keter product. I'm now waiting for Homebase to collect and refund and it puts me off buying Keter products, which is a shame, as I'm really pleased with the garden storage box I bought before.
I have two Keter storage units bought a while ago and so out of warranty. I contacted Keter Customer service asking whether I could buy replacements for some metal parts that had corroded (note we live near the sea, so not unusual for this to happen). To be honest I was not expecting much and at best thought that I would have to buy the parts, but was happy to be told Keter would supply the parts free of charge as a good will gesture. In my experience this is exceptional customer service and deserves a mention. Well done Keter and in particular thank you to Avital who was so helpful.
I recently purchased a plastic shed which was unfortunately delivered with a damaged part. I contacted Keter customer services and spoke with Anita who couldn't have been more helpful and the replacement part was received within a few days for which I'm very grateful.
Excellent service from customer service after a slight issue which has been resolved perfectly.
I bought a wheelie bin storage unit yesterday. Unfortunately on assembly there were 2 parts missing. Contacted the service team on line, I had a reply within a couple of hours, and spare parts are being sent out. Very prompt service.

Sep 30,2024This is a review of two parts. Product Purchased - Premier Shed 7.5x9ft - Grey. Firstly I will say that the shed is really good. If my review was based solely on the product I would be giving 5 stars. And now for the second part. I erected the shed back in May and it was only when I got to the very end of the build that I found that two of the hinge parts were missing. Sadly this meant that the bottom hinge on each door could not be fitted. This in turn meant that the remaining hinges have been under stress for 4 months and the security of the shed has been compromised. Like many in the reviews I contacted customer services and was told that Keter were struggling to source these parts and they would be placed on back order. I chased the CS representative every couple of weeks and eventually they stopped replying to my emails. 3 months later I raised another case with customer services and was given the same response again which seems to be a copy and paste. "The spares you require are on order from our manufacturing plants, but due to shipping and import delays we are without an accurate ETA for their arrival. We apologise for this but in the absence of an accurate ETA all we can advise is that you will be notified when the parts are in stock before sending them out when they arrive in the UK." At this point I asked for my cases to be escalated and was given the escalation email address CEUK@keter which I used. The response from the escalation team was the same as the normal customer services team as above. I thought I'd try to source the parts myself and not for the first time had a look on eBay. On this occasion the two parts that I needed were there. I got back in touch with the escalation team and explained that I had found a way that I could get the parts and told them the cost. I asked if they'd be willing to cover the cost of the parts if I made the order myself which they agreed to do. I ordered the parts which were spot on and Keter made a bank transfer to myself within a week. So my advice is don't wait for Keter to get your parts in stock if you have been waiting for longer than you deem acceptable. Try to source them yourself and offer this solution to Customer Services. A special mention to Tracy Bell who I dealt with on the escalation team who finally helped me resolve my issue quickly and efficiently. Keter really need to stop selling products that they must know are missing essential parts!!
