Jan 09,2024I am a regular client of Klass Wagen, I rent from them exclusively when I travel to Hungary. The last time I used their service was between 30.12.2023 - 07.01.2024, and again, I was completely satisfied. What I experienced, and what anyone can expect: polite treatment, clear communication about all aspects of the service, fast administration, and nice cars, completely corresponding (or better!) to (than) the description at the online renting.

The staff are freindly and efficient, pick-up at the airport works fine and transport to the airport is also speedy. The cars are in good condition, they are easy to drive, clean and comfortable. The cars are top quality, equipped with modern features which is very helpful both for the driver and the passenger(s). The price and insurance policy is user-friendly. Jan 09,2024BUD-145412820123 I booked Peugeot 2008 for our trip because of its larger boot space, necessary for our group of 4 adults and 1 child on our trip. Although initially offered Mokka, which had significantly less space due to the Peugeot's unavailability. After some running around and attempts to solve the problem, Lucian at Klauss Wagen empathetically offered us a bigger vehicle at no extra charge. Exceptional customer service provided by Klauss Wagen truly made our experience exceptional and highly appreciated.

Jan 05,2024Booked a car from them whilst in Budapest. Had issues at the start and at the end. Originally, made the booking through a 3rd party platform where the prices are listed and described as all inclusive. Upon arrival, they forced me to pay double the daily rate and cited that it was due a "peak period". Given that there was no other car rental companies with availabilities, I was reluctantly forced into paying double. I then had an issue with signing paperwork, and hopping through hoops which made me quite suspect. Nonetheless, eventually got the card after an hour of back and forth. The "inspection" of the car was a rushed job, and in the dark, making it difficult to spot scratches and dents. The paperwork I was presented had different marks on, and not all the marks I noted down was on paper. I took photos of these and emailed it to them. Returned the car the next day only to get into a debate with the check in lady with damages I had spotted and cited (recorded via email) which wasn't on their check out sheet. Needless to say this turned into a heated conversation. I was asked to provide evidence and location information on where the photos were taken, the emails I had sent, etc. Eventually, an assistant manager set it was okay, after I refused to pay for the damages. Be very careful of these guys! It really came across as if they try and pull a fast one over international tourists to file dodgy claims. At the end of the day, the rental was considerably more expense vs the more established brands.

Jan 04,2024BUD-14764244742133 Rental. Klass Wagen is by far the best car rental agency in Budapest. I’ve used a few companies before and Klass Wagen is by far the best. The check in and out process is really easy and everyone is so helpful. I highly recommend them.

Jan 03,2024We had a long, 5 hours delay flying home this Christmas. I was worried about collecting our hire car due to the long delay. There was no need. We were collected promptly at the airport and taken to the nearby hire place. The handover was conducted professionally and swiftly. Staff were very polite and helpful. We had a lovely little car which made our holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you!

The vehicles are clean and well maintained and the young staff go overboard to make your transactions as smooth as possible. Can’t recommend Klasswagen enough.

Dec 31,2023Such a shameless company. I booked a car and everything was smooth since ever I received car until returning the car. I had a parking fine and the company was supposed to deduct the fine from the pre-authorization insurance transaction on my credit card. However, they reached me out only after two months to let me know that they will charge my credit card for the parking fine plus late payment fee's which made the fine triple. It is totally not my mistake that the company did not make their job. Very disappointed

Dec 30,2023I have been their customer several times. Though I always try to find the best option when it comes to car rental, in the end it is always them I choose. Though they also became significantly more expensive (thanks to the Hungarian political decisions) you can still get a much better option with them than with any other rental places if you are looking for some affordable solution. I highly recommend them.

Jan 09,2024BUD-14991215044591 Klasswagen is the reason we did not cancel our Christmas trip to Budapest. All cars were booked online except an 8 seater, after a phone call they managed to find us an automatic station wagon which was not my preference but "beggars can`t be choosy" I happily accepted the offer. They picked us up at the airport in a very reasonable time and took us to their office where we could get a manual car instead of the auto. I was super happy with their flexibility and our luck. This was not the first time renting from Klasswagen, car was as expected, clean, new and roadworthy. Vehicle wasn`t a powerhouse but you don`t need performance in Bp anyway, fuel economy was between 5.7~6.8L/100kms (5 door combi) which is important considering the fuel prices. Pick up/ drop off easy and quick. If Klasswagen will keep their competitive pricing, they will be the only place I will rent a car from in the future. Thank you again, hopefully see you soon.
