The first appointment was a very comprehensive check on my eyes and my suitability for treatment. My second appointment with the surgeon was a 121 chat about the procedure plus some sketchers to help explain the surgery and the next stages / care after the operation. Roll on next week.

Mar 18,2021From the phone call to my post-op examination, every step was handled with exceptional service and care. I had the ReLex Smile procedure (which I preferred!) and I had a very nice surgeon (Mr Carp) who was incredibly attentive, and personable which put me at ease. Every question was answered quickly and clearly - no matter how ridiculous (I asked what happens if there is an earthquake during the procedure). Overall great value, and an even better outcome.

Mar 17,2021The service I received from the Vision Clinic was efficient and professonal in relation to my blended eye surgery. I felt that they took all precautions and carried out extensive testing to avoid issues later. They also kept me well informed. The clinic itself is pleasant and run professionally and efficiently and seems well equipped. The aftercare has continued and I have been back to the clicin 3 times since my operation four month ago and future appointments are in place. There is a chance that I may need a small corrective surgery to make certain alignments. I have not worn glasses since the surgery. However there maybe need for some adjustment which the clinic has identified and discussed with me. The decison on this adjustment will be made in 2-3 months once the eyes fully settle after the surgery. Areas where the service can be even further improved, is to ensure that the person allocated as your key contact point does follow through with you through your journey. Following the surgery, I think it will be good that the client is contacted directly on the phone to see how things are going. I would imagine given the type of surgery and the major changes to the eye after the surgery, many clienst can become very concerned with the slightest of the issues. I did get a brief text from the surgen himself the day after the opertaion which I appreciated. I do however think a more personal contact by a specialist during the 2-3 days after the surgery would give many piece of mind.

My surgeon Glenn explained the procedure to me in detail, was thoroughly knowledgeable and made me feel at ease-even after the surgery he sent me a message to make sure that things were as they should be and I wasn't in any discomfort. I would highly recommend the London Vision Clinic for laser eye surgery.

Mar 16,2021It took me a while researching the best place to get my laser eye surgery, and from comparing options, LVC was the best place to go to. The whole process was very straightforward and easy. The initial assessments were explained to me so I could understand what they were doing. This was really helpful as I like to know how and why these tests are needed. There were approximately 5 different kinds of eye tests that were carried out before surgery. Each time I was given all the information required from all staff. LVC patient coordinator (whom is assigned to you) followed up with me after each appointment and I could easily get in touch via email. So if I had any questions or concerns these were addressed within 1 working day. The day of surgery, the whole procedure was explained to me again, along with the eye drops I need to put in my eyes, and after care. I was very nervous but this procedure was 5 minutes per eye (approximately) so it was over within 10 minutes of walking into the surgery room. The surgeon was lovely and spoke through the procedure so i was aware of what was going on. I had the SMILE procedure as this was the best option for my eyes. Before surgery I had a slight astigmatism in my left eye, short-sighted at -7 in both eyes, and I suffered from dry eyes. I had worn contact lenses for 15 years so as this affected my corneal thickness, I was only eligible for the one surgery. And thank god only one was needed! I now have 20/20 vision and can see clearly in both eyes. I has been 4 months since my surgery and it has been the best decision I have taken! It feels amazing to wake up and see, and my eyes do not feel dry. I highly recommend to go to LVC as they have done what was best for MY eyes. Other places, in my opinion, did not investigate what was best for my eyes, but rather gave me an option of what they can offer, they also did not perform as many tests as LVC besides the 2 basic tests. Another reason I would recommend LVC is that they do offer a payment plan (interest free) so it can be affordable for all. (Other places had interest rates added within a specific time frame at 12%). If you are unsure with whom to go to, definitely book in an initial consultation with LVC because they will give you 100% confidence that they are doing what is best for your eyes, and there is evidence to prove this. I am so glad I went to LVC. Thank you to all those that answered my 100 questions during this period and made me feel comfortable before, during and after surgery!

Mar 16,2021I had my laser eye surgery back in November 2020 by Dr Carp. I can say that on top of being very successful and painless, it has clearly improved my life quality. I am now able to see very clearly, can do sports and swim without thinking about all the logistics to wear my lenses ! Dr Carp has been very friendly and professional- I would definitely recommend him and LVC if you are looking to have a laser eye surgery.

From consultation through to surgery and after care, their professionalism and lovely bedside manner has been flawless. They appeased any anxiety I had about the procedure which was painless and so quick! My only regret is I wish I had done it sooner!!

Mar 13,2021After wearing contact lenses for over 25 years suddenly my eyes couldn’t tolerate them anymore, I hated glasses, so I did some research into laser vision and the London Vision Clinic were recommended to me through a mutual friend. The service received from the start at consultation, and through to the surgery and after care was first class. To be able to see without glasses or contact lenses is amazing. Having laser surgery at the London Vision Clinic was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I just wished I had it done sooner.
