For someone who has put this off for years and years out of fear, I couldn’t recommend LVC enough for putting me at ease ☺️

Mar 09,2021I would highly recommend the London Vision clinic. From the first contact, communication was clear and quick. I had SMILE with blended vision to correct my short-sightedness and the start of presbyopia. Mr Glenn Carp did my surgery and was just so calm and reassuring and i really felt like I was in safe hands, and I was. Also Brendan Duane my optometrist was fantastic, super patient and really clear in communicating what to expect and answering my questions. I am absolutely delighted with the results and not to be too much of a cliche, I wish I had done it years ago.

Mar 09,2021Having researched various laser surgeons, I went with London Vision Clinic as they are known for their modern technology and ability to work with more complicated prescriptions, such as mine. With a lazy eye being one issue, I was very nervous about having laser eye surgery. However, LVC explained the process in great detail and carried out such thorough examinations, I felt confident to to proceed. They have been very professional throughout my treatment plan and I am very happy that I took the step to correct my vision. Thankyou to the team.

The texts from my surgeon the day of, and the day after the procedure were extremely comforting and reassuring. Post operative care has been phenomenal as well.

Mar 08,2021The information pack provided pre appointment was first class, covering the range of vision issues and all the procedures offered by LVC, along with the possible side effects. Also, the various Covid precautions both ahead of the appointment and at the clinic were very professional. The clinic is immaculately clean and appears to have every eye test and scanning machine available.

Feb 09,2021After years of procrastinating, I booked in for my initial consultation last year. I have worn glasses since I was in secondary school and My initial consultation with Elisabeth was extremely thorough and professional and left feeling excited about the future. I then add a pre-op with my surgeon and I was able to discuss any worries I had with him. On the day of my surgery, all the staff were able to keep me calm and relaxed throughout the whole process and even gave me a cuddly toy to keep hold off during the whole surgery. I was sent home with an aftercare pack which was filled with everything id need in the coming weeks. The follow-up appointments are great and I know the team our at the end of the phone or email if I ever need them. I could not recommend them enough.

Feb 02,2021I sought treatment at London Vision clinic in August 2020 as I had a particularly negative experience when seeking treatment at a high street optician, who also offer laser eye treatment. I had a 'high profile' prescription (+5 with strong astigmatism) meaning many clinics just did not have the expertise to treat me. London Vision clinic are specialists in their field and provided second to none treatment and service. I did ALOT of research prior to this as vision is so important, and I wanted only the best. From the initial consultation to treatment, the whole experience was excellent. All questions were answered and risks explained fully, especially as my treatment was not as straight forward. Surgery is a scary prospect, but at each stage I was made to feel at ease; the surgeons and staff go above and beyond! My surgeon even checked in on me via text a few times (I had Glenn Carp) to check all was well. My aftercare, despite being in the middle of a pandemic, has been super and my vision is very good. I have a slight residual prescription now at 6 months on, which was to be expected and I am still pursuing achieving the best vision results through my aftercare. I have worn glasses since i was 6 and am now 80% glasses free, whereas I could not function without my glasses at all before! I am so grateful to the team here and I would highly recommend London Vision clinic every time.

Although it took over three hours, I found the time invested and personal interest in my lifestyle reassuring. The day of surgery was calm and the staff all charming and caring. I am very happy with the results and am invited back for checkups regularly.

Jan 30,2021I decided during lockdown that I will get laser eye surgery. My prescription before the surgery was -6.25 in my right eye and -5.00 in my left eye short sightedness. I also had astigmatism. I fell into the high prescription category so my treatment cost me £6500. The treatment I got done is called ReLEx SMILE which is less invasive and has a quick recovery time. My surgeon was Professor Dan Reinstein who did Phillip Schofield's laser eye surgery live on this morning. I'm so happy I got this treatment done, it means so much to me as I was really insecure with wearing glasses. I started wearing glasses when I was 6 years old. I wore contact lenses daily pack at the age of 13 but only wore them in special occasions. I decided to wear contact lenses full time at 17 and wore monthly pack. I wanted to stop wearing them because it made my eyes dry and irritated. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is considering it. The team in London Vision Clinic are very supportive and have answered all my concerns that I had. My patient coordinator Meghan was amazing, couldn't thank her enough. What I love about this place is the communication as they are very quick to contact back to you if there was a concern. Also, I am happy with the aftercare I received. I have been experiencing slight dryness and they supplied eye drops by posting directly at my address.

Jan 28,2021A really first rate experience even through Covid times, if you are considering laser eye surgery, I can't recommend London Vision Clinic highly enough. I was naturally a bit anxious about something so sensitive as the eyes and we all have that awful 'what if' nagging feeling but from the very start you are put at ease. The procedure itself is a doddle and results were almost immediate, which was exciting. You get your own treatment co-ordinator and optometrist throughout who stay in regular contact (I am 7 months post op now) and the follow-up phone call from the Surgeon (in my case Mr Carp) the evening of the treatment was a nice touch.

Jan 28,2021-7.75 and -2.25 "medium bad" short sightedness with astigmatism fully corrected with ReLEx SMILE. No 20:20 vision for me due to dichoptic amblyopia but regardless my vision is better than it was with glasses anyway. I had halos and starbursts before the surgery, the starbursts and halos now experienced are actually improved and continue to fade in the 4 or so months since the surgery. Anyone who is putting it off due to worries about suitability or anxiety should probably just get in touch sooner rather than later. You will get plenty of information and can at the end of the day opt out if you don't like what you hear. I asked many questions of the optometrist and surgeon before going ahead about my lazy eye and squint and they put my mind fully at ease (and also, have been shown to be correct since).

Jan 28,2021Having laser eye surgery has been life changing! All the staff at the London Vision Clinic were so welcoming and professional. They answered every question and put me at ease, dispite having the treatment during the pandemic! 2020 wasn't a wasted year after all! The surgery itself didn't, my eyes felt dry during the first week of recovery but honestly, the anticipation was the worst bit. I'd reccommend this fantastic team and clinic without any hesitation.

Mar 09,2021Super helpful and reassuring. London Vision Clinic have been excellent for me - I decided to pursue laser eye surgery and was recommended to them. They made me feel at ease throughout the whole process, and at no point was I unaware of what to expect. The optometrist, surgeon as well as the rest of the staff were superb with a brilliant calming attitude. The results speak for themselves- better than 20/20 vision!
