Similar issue as others have written, pc worked for a year, now no power through the motherboard. Trying to work with their support, but they just drop off communication wise and stop responding. Prior to the product failing, support was great, getting drivers and other useful hints on setting up the computer. But now that it is a warranty claim, they just stop responding.

Hi, I bought a Minisforum UM690 directly from Minisforum (not via Amazon or so). First I used it mainly for office purposes and it ran like a charm. Silent, powerful and fast! When I gave it to my son to become a gaming machine, we had some trouble with the stabilitly of the device. So I contacted the support with mixed feelings, since most asian consumer electronics manufacturers have a bad reputation regarding support. Let me tell you this: They answered quickly, polite and contructive and I always had the feeling, they really wanted to help me and find a fair solution. I sent back my device and got a refund without any hassle. I directly bought another Minisforum device to replace the broken one (UM790Pro). I can really recommend this company. Regards, Ben

Jeg returnerede en mini pc. og den blev aldrig afhentet hos Hermes i Tyskland. Det kostede mig 110 kr + de beholder 10% af det indbetalte for Pc. Det er bare så dårligt med det arbejde med at få sendt den osv. Jeg opretter en side på Fb. nu så må vi se om der er andre der har en dårlig oplevelse med dem.
Beware of this company handling defective products. Purchased a MS-01 and never worked correctly from day one, crashing anywhere for 24 hours to 1 week. Tried making the machine work for 3 months but finally gave up. Contacted sales/support and after some hoops of debugging they agreed to a full refund. So far so good.... When I sent back the device to Germany, out of pocket, they acknowlegdes the arrival and that I would have to pay 10% restocking fee as I "used" it for 6 months (only in my possesion for 4). When I did not agree according to EU regulation they tried if I would agree to 5% restocking fee, which I did not again and explained this was a defective device from the start. And today, a refund arrived of 95% no mention of my former emails. Still got charged 5% and am out the shipping fee I incurred returning a faulty product. E.g. this company doesnt play by the EU rules while selling directly from an EU warehouse.

I recently purchased the Minisforum UH 125 Pro barebone (a PC without RAM and SSD), and I must say it has exceeded my expectations! At first, I was a bit nervous about upgrading it myself, but the excellent support and encouragement from the customer IT team made all the difference. They patiently answered all of my questions and guided me through the process with ease. Thanks to their guidance, I now have a perfectly upgraded PC that runs like a dream! The performance is smooth and fast, and I'm absolutely satisfied with my decision. If you're looking for quality products and top-notch customer service, look no further!
Bought the V3 tablet a few months after pre-order. Unfortunately the shipping was delayed, which could have been communicated better as I didn't knew about it until reaching out myself. The product itself is superb, spec and feature wise it's about everything I would've wanted from the laptop. The Windows installation came about as clean as you'd wish. Only featuring Minisforum control software which isn't too bloatware-y as you might expect a manufacturer to put on by default. Performance is as advertised, and Linux support also seems to be almost fully functional (Linux not recognizing the ouput on the accelerometer so rotating the screen doesn't work) Support itself is excellent, replies are on the same day or next day, featuring the information you need and not too much bloat. Support also seems to be very knowledgable about technical issues. And when the product went on sale just after I bought it, they actually refunded me the difference, which is excellent! I had two specific issues which unfortunately weren't listed online. The glass screen protector interferes with the pen, causing it to have a lower 'refreshrate'. The solution was using none or the paper screen protector. This solution wasn't easily found online, but I do get super specific issues like these only coming to light after testing by the public. There are also no nib replacements ready for the pen, however when I broke mine support gratously granted me a new pen, which is of course fantastic. Although it'd be nice still to buy a small load of them just in case. Lastly, due to the nature of the build of the laptop, replacing or repairing parts seems to be not really possible. I wouldn't doubt that support would handle this properly as they have done with my other issues. However with the more sustainable direction the industry is (forced) to head, it'd be nice to be able to open it up. If only to be able to replace the ssd. Overall, I'm super happy with the product and support of Minisforum. Yes there are still improvements possible, quite a few actually. But I feel these are things that are 'part' of being an early adopter of such a niche brand and product. No my rating isn't exactly a 5.0, but overal it lays closer to that than to the lower ones.
a year on with the um790 and the random reboots continue. bios updated to latest no help, fresh install of supplied os no help, fresh installs of win10,win11, and various flavors of linux. all produce the same random reboot. no help other than "update bios and turn of secure boot" I spent months researching out small form systems. shame on me for not digging deeper.
Ein bestellter Artikel wäre nach der Bestellung erst mehr als 2 Monate später geliefert worden. Bei Stornierung der Bestellung, bei der mit keinem Wort davon die Rede war, dass der Artikel erst so spät geliefert werden würde würde eine Stornierungsgebühr in Höhe von 25,00 Euro von bereits bezahlten Kaufpreis einbehalten - eine Rechtsgrundlage in Form von wirksamen AGB lag hierfür nicht vor. Absolute Frechheit und nicht zu empfehlen.
Wish I could comment on the quality of the product. However, I ordered in mid-August with a week's shipment shown. No shipment within a week as per MINISFORUM's shipment schedule. Then the website updated to end of August for shipments. Tried the live chat service, which is non existent and took MINISFORUM over a day to respond to. Was informed on August 27 that the DEG 1 would then ship between September 2nd and September 8th. With nothing in regards to that, I have now cancelled the order and requested a refund. Now, it seems that orders will not ship until mid-September. Early reviews suggest the DEG1 is a great product. Perhaps wait until it appears on Amazon before buying it though.
We had a severe thunderstorm that killed my Minisforum UM790 Pro, even though I had it plugged into a surge protector. I contacted Minisforum for repairs. While the failure wasn't in any way the fault of Minisforum, they sent me a free replacement PC. I assume the original PC wasn't repairable. I'm so happy with Minisforum and their entire customer service team! Not to mention what a great mini pc it is.

I pre ordered a Minisforum V3 Order# MS37980 and am very pleased with it. Meets all expectations. And excellent value. After a few months of use, I unfortunately damaged the tip of the v pen and wrote asking how to order a replacement tip. The very next week, I received a complete new pen! Really outstanding support from Minisforum. When my regular desktop Windows 10 will no linger receive Windows updates from Microsoft next year, I will certainly be replacing it with whatever current model of mini pc from the Minisforum line up! Highly recommended.
I recently purchased the UH125 Mini PC, and I am thrilled with its performance! I initially faced some challenges setting it up for Linux, the customer support team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They promptly addressed all my questions and guided me through the process, allowing me to set up the mini PC exactly as I wanted. In my opinion they have the best customer support! Overall, I am very satisfied with both the product and the excellent customer service.
I bought an expensive mini PC and when it arrived, the case was warped. This made it so some of the ports were blocked and it was very difficult to access the inside of the case. Their email support suggested the motherboard was upside down, which wasn’t helpful feedback or even possible. I had to email them numerous times over a week for them to tell me how to start an exchange. When they finally gave me an address to ship the PC (at my own cost, just to make things worse), it was a random home address. I sent the parcel tracked with signature required and Royal Mail is about to return it due to no one answering. This feels so disorganised, I out hundreds of pounds, I’m nowhere near getting a replacement, and the parcel is now stuck in limbo. Until Minisforum can improve their return and exchange process, I would not recommend them.
Just before the end of warranty period my minipc gave up. Took contact and my case was verified and the money came back with 30 percent less as I bought it. That is a reasonable charge for the two years. Had a problem with the way the money was returned but after a couple of e-mails the refund came with PayPal correctly. The person that helped me with the communications stayed patient and kept helping me out. Disappointed about the quality but aftersales was good in helping me with the pay-back process. I appreciated that.
It's a 4.5/5.0, but I can't put that grade. My machine broke down in around a year and half, which was not the best experience to have as I expected a mini-PC to last much longer (I thnk I fried the motherboard). However, this led me to write this review after having a wonderful afterservice experience. They allowed me to either get a replacement for a newer model PC as the model I had was discontinued, they also allowed an option to pay the difference to get any other machine which is currently avaliable on their website at the current price. So, I ended up getting a much better model than my old PC while it was on discount on the website.

I guess I call my bank and see if they can help or Maybe the FTC
