I got a HM90 mini computer which crashed constantly. Even I contacted minisforum within the guarantee time, they wanted me to pay € 190,-- to get a replacement machine. Then they wanted me to send the broken machine back at my cost. As I refused this, they wanted me to pay additional € 300,-- (Together this would be more as the new machine would cost). I refused this and wanted my money back. After a week, I'm still waiting... I wrote them every day, the answer is always the same: Please wait patiently...
Leider nicht so gut, bestellt dann hieß es warten, als ich dann per mail gefragt habe wie der status ist. Kam eine mail 2 tage später das er aus China bestellt werden muss und dann ende des Monats kommt. Finde ich persönlich etwas arg lange. Zu der Hardware selbst kann ich noch nichts sagen Nachtrag: Nach über 6 Wochen habe ich heute meine Bestellung storniert. Ich habe zwar eine Verfolgunsnummer bekommen allerdings hat sich seit über 1 Woche nichts getan, das gerät wurde nicht an DHL übergeben und jetzt ist genug. Geld wieder zurück und dann gebe ich die 500€ wo anders aus. Sorry aber das ist absoluter mist gewesen. Wenn man tatsächlich öfter so mit kunden umgeht wird man bald keine mehr haben.
Minisforum walked me through troubleshooting and eventually replacing a faulty UM690. Since the unit was just over a year old, I was charged a fair depreciation fee. Minisforum replaced the UM690 with the upgraded model. The replacement process was thorough and smooth. They even offer a US-based warehouse to send the old unit to.
Encountered a few issues with the HX99G. After posting my review miniforum reached out to me. They acknowledged my concerns and we were able to reach a satisfactory conclusion for all. The new HX100G is a slight upgrade from the old one. The AMD GPU is not as good as nVidia GPU's for gaming, but for the rest of daily use, the machine performs quite well. I appreciate the size of the unit and the build quality is top notch.
I bought UM690 mini PC from Minisforum on their US warehouse store. It was fantastic value for money and after 14 months it suddenly stopped working. I reached out to the support via email to check if there is something they could do. They were responsive and offered a replacement after I sent my unit to them. Received the replacement unit for free. Will buy from them again to upgrade, not to mention the 2 year warranty is great.
I increased the number of stars in my review from one to three. After almost three months, I received a new computer. I just started to use it and it seems OK at least by now... But why it took so long? If the whole transaction takes 1,5-2 weeks, I give a 5-star review and everybody is happy. Now, I have a feeling that my problem was only solved because of the one-star review. Anyway... At least I can write that it is a real company but with terrible customer service. Original review: I ordered two Minisforum NAD9. One of them was faulty and I sent it back. Almost two months passed and I asked every week when can I get the replacement computer. And this is the answer over and over again for closely two months: "We are still searching for the warehouse and will keep you informed when we receive it." This is getting ridiculous! As I see the other reviews, only I can get is this standard answer: "Sorry for causing trouble to you. I hope you can leave your contact information and let us help you solve the problem." and nothing will happen... Therefore, I report this company to Action Fraud too immediately because this is the definition of the SCAMMER COMPANY!

Very disappointing experience with Minisforum. I bought an HX100G with high hopes - great reviews and specs looked awesome! The experience quickly went from excitement to total frustration. The computer started crashing to the point that I had to make a recovery drive and reinstall the OS, multiple times. I emailed Minisforum multiple times for help and did not receive one reply! I ended up returning it and have moved on. My advice is to avoid buying anything from this company.
UM790 PRO DIED AFTER BIOS UPGRADE FROM 1.07 TO 1.09, THE SELLER TOPTON DIRECT STORE IN ALIEXPRESS IGNORED ME AND IGNORED THE PROBLEM, EMAIL TO MANUFACTURER IGNORET TOO, RESET BUTTON IN COMPUTER IS FAKE AND NOT WORK. in all manufacturers people can update their computers, notebooks, cell phones and even washing machines, MINISFORUM computer is the only one that cannot be updated, it should be banned from Aliexpress and should be prohibited from selling, there is no warning for customers before purchasing, on their website there is a download to update, ridiculous, I Want my money back.
Excellent service. I really like my Minisforum UM790 Pro. I had one problem, however, after about a month the fan started making a lot of noise. I submitted a support email and attached an audio of the sound it was making. Support replied the next morning and they sent me a replacement fan. The fan was super easy to switch out. I'm back to work with my blazingly fast minicomputer. It's unfortunate that the fan had an issue, but with anything electronic things happen. Due to the efficient support, I'd still rate the whole experience as a five star.
My UM700 rear USB ports lost power just out of warranty and I am expected to pay to repair the motherboard?USB which will cost 3/4 the price of a new machine. So I will sell this for next to nothing, even though I paid a hard earned £515 for it. They don't care about us once they have our money.We are their test genuine pigs. I'll move on to a better known brand. Maybe trust pilot will give people more time to reply too??
So far the computer is great. I got a nad9 barebones unit, and after a minor hiccup in shipping it arrived amazingly quick. I happened to place my order between a couple of holidays. After we found what had happened with the shipping issue, i Happened to get my package in just 2 days. So between hitting buy and receiving the shipment, it was about a week or so. Now, as for the computer, i first tested it using windows, and most of the hardware installs by itself on a clean windows 11 install. I did have to hunt down some chipset drivers to get all the devices to clear in device management. After that, i stress tested the machine and it held up really well. The system stays surprisingly cool, given how much oomph the 20 core processor has. Even running at 100 watts, the system barely heats up. Perfect for small areas. The size of the computer was a bit bigger than i was expecting, but that is more on me for not being to visualize dimensions easily. It is overall very small and easy to hide away. I have been running it for a few days now as a plex/linux/game server and very rarely see cpu utilization over 5-10% which means ill have plenty of room to run more in the future. Overall, great machine, insanely fast shipping, and great customer service. If i ever need another mini pc for a home server, definitely would buy again.
