I personally love the products off My 1st Years had a few things from here. But the most recent one was a personalised vanity case set. First of all the detail of the wooden make up is beyond amazing. The case is so adorable also however within two days my daughter had broke the lock so it was no longer able to stay closed when she wanted to carry it around.. I contacted customer services and spoke to Dorota explaining the lock had broke and is there anything they can do to help me.. expecting a new lock being sent or something along these lines. I was instantly offered a replacement. Dorota was very accommodating and even sent express delivery. I am beyond grateful. Thank you so much! Honestly the customer services is 1000 out of 10. Thank you so much.
I had a bad customer service experience having been told no foreseeable restock of the item I wanted on the Friday.. so settled for another product only to find it back in stock the Sunday! I decided to order both as now had my heart set on the other too and thought I’ll utilise both sizes. The berry ditsy bag arrived today and is nothing like the picture ! They really need to describe it better the picture doesn’t reflect the true colour instead of a vibrant maroon it’s a very dull shade of maroon or pink and is incomparable If this picture reflected what I had in my hand I’d never have kept this order I’d of cancelled and changed it So disappointed all round at the service and now the product I haven’t contacted for help as the last conversation was so bad I don’t count on getting anywhere and I know they won’t accept returns as the point of products is personalisation!!!

I ordered some Christmas Pjs for my little boy. They were lovely quality but when I looked closely Christmas was spelt wrong. When I got in contact Dorota was very quick to reply and was amazing. New PJs were sent straight away. Brilliant service. A very happy Customer. Thank you Dorota.

The experience I have had with my first years has been outstanding. After my granddaughter opened her Christmas present we found that it could not be built due to one piece not being produced properly. I contacted customer services via email, photos sent and a new product sent all within a few days. I can honestly say the contact and help provided by Geraldine dealing with my problem has been second to none. All emails were answered promptly. I now have one extremely happy granddaughter. we'd recently been gifted a personalised toy trunk. The quality is brilliant and I accidentaly damaged it putting it together (wrong screw size in the lid), luckily for me My 1st years Customer Service provided a replacement lid, which I was very fortunate of.
I ordered a Personalised Santa Sack for my grandsons first Christmas. When it arrived it looked really great but unfortunately by the time I took it to my grandson some of the letters had come off. I was a little disappointed as everything I’ve received previously was super quality. I contacted ‘My First Years’ and was immediately contacted via email from Ewelina. She tried to reorder another sack but unfortunately they were out of stock. So I ordered something else instead, which to my surprise arrived the very next day. This item was embroidered. Maybe next year when personalising sacks, they could be embroidered instead of using stickers which would stop this issue. Many thanks to Ewelina for rectifying my problem.
We had the personalised baby star box bought for us for Christmas. It is a lovely box but when we opened it up on Christmas day the grooves on two of the sections would not allow for the box to be properly constructed. The grooves were too small. We asked the person that gifted this to us to raise a query and a replacement piece was sent to us. Unfortunately that piece too was damaged and without the printed writing on it that was a part of the personalisation. As it's simply too embarrassing to ask the person who gifted this to us to raise a further query, we've had to just cut into the grooves of the original defective piece to make it all fit together. We've since successfully built the box but not without additional tool work on our part. The box is beautiful. I think the company most likely did mean well but unfortunately just didn't come through on this occasion.
Quite frankly the single worst customer experience I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. A 10 day dispatch period followed by incapable customer service who still to this point have failed to resolve anything an provide VERY generic responses, without addressing any issues. Do not use this business.
Very bad quality, stitchings are all out, how did it pass quality control is beyond me! Customer service do not want to help, avoid at all costs!
I hadn’t heard anything about my delivery which is acceptable given the festive period so I contact MyFirstYears customer service team and was helped by Geraldine who was fantastic at promptly resolving my issue! Really appreciate you promptly reassuring me and redirecting my package with lots of clarity about next steps. Probably sounds quite simple but it’s not often comes across these days!

Purchased a personalised safari table and chairs set and I and my partner noticed after my partner had put it together that one of the chairs foot resters wasn't level. I emailed MyFirstYears and they told me they'd replace the chair if I'd send the PERSONALISED chair back...why?? We'd already stupidly gotten rid of the packaging to send it back so we had nothing big to package the chair in. Secondly, a month after having the set and accepting the chairs faultage I soon noticed that the chairs backrest backing that has the personalisation on was starting to chunky chip away. What awful quality! So now I have 2 faulty bad quality looking chairs that has left me really disappointed and will never purchase from this brand again, it was an early Christmas present and a waste of my hard earned money, to top it off too the tables animal printing is already coming off. Looks like we've had it WAY LONGER than we have! The personalised backpack we got my son though has SO FAR lasted and he's really happy with it but despite this has not swayed me about this brand.
I recently ordered an item from my 1st years and was hugely disappointed with the personalisation. I have ordered quite a few items and always been amazing quality so was quite unhappy when this arrived. However, the customer service I received from Mary Joyce was outstanding. Emailed on a Sunday evening (a few days before Christmas) and I had a replacement sent 2 days later (on Christmas Eve!) so impressed and it’s definitely kept me and a customer. Thank you for rectifying for efficiently.

Bought two personalised wooden advent calendars last year. When I went to use them this year, one of them broke. When I emailed customer service about it, I was told nothing can be done as it's over a year old. I don't expect such poor quality for an item that cost over £50. I expect it to last more than one month for that price. Not impressed at all. I won't be buying anything more from My First Years!!
We ordered some personalised Christmas items at the start of December for our little girl. Nothing had turned up 2 weeks later and after spending over an hour on a live chat I was told that our address wasn't sufficient but when pushed the couldn't explain why. They then offered to send out a replacement order which they couldn't guarantee to be delivered before Christmas but we initially thought was really nice to try and get something to us, we confirmed that they had the items on the live chat. And then mere minutes after the live chat ended we received an email to say that the items we ordered now weren't in stock (this was 4:48pm on a Friday the weekend before Christmas). All in all absolutely shocking customer service and a complete lack of accountability from My 1st Years
Ordered a personalised baby dressing gown and it’s absolutely lovely. I made an error on my shipping details and emailed asking them if they could change the door number, they replied within an hour and changed it for me. Quick delivery within a few days and really reasonably priced. I am so pleased.
