I wasn't happy with two items I ordered- one was completely my mistake getting the personalisation wrong and the other wasn't the quality I expected. Mary Joyce arranged a replacement product for each and sent them out speedy delivery. Very pleased with the customer service I received, thank you!
Geraldine was a fantastic customer support agent. We ordered a personalised advent calender - it arrived but was left in the rain by the delivery driver! It was therefore water damaged due to no fault of my first years, but Geraldine immediately issued us a replacement without any quibble. The replacement is perfect and we are thrilled that they clearly care about their customers.

I ordered a new born gift set at the start of November for delivery 10-14 days later (it was an international order). I received no follow up information or notifications about the shipment, so followed up with the company only to be told that it was never sent out (something vague about the order being 'stuck'). The order will be arriving a full month after the intended delivery date, and the company have offered nothing by way of apology or compensation. Had I not flagged the issue they would have happily taken my money and never sent the gift. Would avoid at all costs.
I ordered a personalised Christmas bauble that unfortunately arrived smashed. However, Mary Joyce was extremely helpful and speedy with her responses. Whilst I wasn’t able to get a replacement of the same item, I was able to get another personalised product made and delivered in time. Thank you Mary Joyce for your kind and attentive care.
I ordered a personalised christening card for my grandson It arrived in a really sturdy beautiful box with tissue paper and I thought this is going to be a fabulous card ……. How wrong was I The card was small too shall for the box The quality of the card was thin and extremely poor Overall I was so disappointed in what arrived The design was poor the colours where faded and the wording was that small you could hardly see it Won’t be ordering from this company again The box probably cost more that the card !!!!!! Very very poor
I ordered a 1st backpack for my daughters 2nd Christmas as she will be starting nursery in the new year. It's a very special milestone as medically, professionals were uncertain she would live to see this day. The bag itself is beautiful but I have been sent a damaged / torn gift box and the message written on a folded piece of paper which is disappointing given the high price point for such a tiny bag.
Just had THE MOST FANTASTIC customer service from this company. I spoke to a lovely lady, called Alexandra, who dealt with my request immediately and has helped to solve a big issue for me before Christmas. Such a refreshing change to receive such personal care rather than speaking to a robot!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered a personalised backpack for my Niece's birthday. I ordered in just enough time for it to be delivered and was excited to give it to her. Unfortunately on receipt of the order, the lettering was unfinished making the name appear wonky. I raised this straight away with Geraldine who agreed it was sub standard. She offered me a £5 gift store voucher. I declined as I do not foresee me shopping with them again. Poor service, poor item, poor craftmanship. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Excellent service..... Beautiful wooden toys..... Duplicate order was created and charged but a lovely lady Mary Joyce was excellent in sorting this out......stopping the delivery and refunding the cost to me.... Highly recommend
aleksandra is a superstar and my first years should be lucky to have her!! my parcel was stolen and they were very fast to resolve the issue and resend it out:) and 5 stars for my purchase absolutely beautiful and will definitely be ordering agajn
Personalised toy box £127 quite nice however on building it they sent wrong size screws causing damage to the lid, I probably should have noticed however upon request they sent a new one out 5***** for that however the finish is not great as nothing to cover four screws that show on the lid which kind of takes away the look, could have been better designed, still looks nice though.
We ordered a personalised bag for my granddaughters second birthday and they charged us for 2. Easy mistake and these things happen! We then asked for this to be fixed and changed to a quantity of 1. Instead they cancelled both orders and refunded us for 1 bag? We told them that only 1 order needed cancelling or they could at least refund us for both if they don’t want our custom. After arguing the toss with us they realised they were wrong and we are now waiting for the second refund. We’ve now had to buy the bag for the third time and have to pay next day delivery (£8!!) otherwise it won’t come in time for my granddaughters birthday. Think this is the most incompetent case I’ve encountered yet.
I purchased a personalised gift on Black Friday. The said item was apparently on offer discounted from close to £40 to £21. The gift was great, good quality and very cute, however, the Black Friday deal was very clearly a scam. I checked the price today, 8th of December, it’s no longer on sale and the regular price is £20. I won’t be using an unethical marketing company again.

I ordered personalised baubles. I was very impressed with the way they were presented in their own gift boxes that came well packaged and arrived quickly, the baubles are of excellent quality and I was entirely delighted with everything
I emailed the customer service team as accidentally received a dressing gown that was personalised with the incorrect spelling. When emailing the team I spoke to Mary Joyce who was happy to help and assist me. I provided screenshots and my order reference and they were happy to organise a replacement with express delivery for me. I really appreciated this as this is a Christmas gift so getting this done efficiently and promptly was amazing. Thank you again to the 1st years team and special thank you to Mary Joyce.
Ordered some items and due to a website glitch the order went through twice and was charged twice but didn’t realise until they were shipped. Contacted customer service and Ewelina was incredibly helpful! Cancelled my duplicate order and refunded me and even stopped courier delivering so it wasn’t on me to return. Briliiant customer service and very helpful. Thanks so much
