Bought a used and damaged Zappi EVSE off the internet. Having repaired it I contacted Myenergi to re-register it in my name as the original owner did not respond to my messages to delete off their account so I could re-register it. Myenergi efficiently arranged for the EVSE to be 'released' upon providing them with proof of ownership. Were it any other EVSE maker, I'm completely sure the response would be 'computer says no'. The fact that Myenergi has been able to help here, demonstrates their commitment to sustainability if nothing else.
Problem with my Zappi communication caused by power blip. Reported the issue was contacted to arrange appointment and talked through reset by very professional and knowledgeable engineer. Excellent service
Spoke to Liam this afternoon from the Myenergi Tech Support Team. I had questions about our Zappi wall charger and I had a query relating to a myenergi hub we have in the house. What fantastic information I was given relating to the Zappi and was given really useful info relating to the hub! Liam was so helpful, very professional and after listening to my queries, he resolved them almost instantly… what a relief that was! Thank you again Liam! Fabulous service!
We've had our Zappi since December 2023, so this review is based on about 7 months of using it. The Zappi is a great example of software developers who "think" they know what users want then design a user interface and software that limits user options to fit their preconceived ideas. I have a Powerwall 2 battery and want to use either this and/or solar to charge my car most of the time. I do not want to use grid power other than off-peak during the night. My set-up allows me to charge up to 5Kw using Powerwall on its own - above this Zappi pulls from solar or grid. However, If I set my car charging on Eco mode during the day, more often than not there is not enough solar to get more than 1.4 Kw charging. Which is painfully slow. If I go to Fast charging, the Zappi only pulls the full 7 Kw and is then drawing grid power at the higher daily rate (unless by good luck there is a lot of solar power). I don't think it's unreasonable for a user to be able to set their own maximum rate on Fast mode. In my case, I want 5Kw. So I can solely pull power from my Powerwall battery. or a mixture of Powerwall and solar (when there is enough of the latter).
As with last review, recently moved into a new house with heat pump/solar/Eddi & Zappi installed and both Eddi/Zappi settings were not correct and they both needed updating to latest version. I'm not particularly tech savvy but was talked through everything by email and phone and it's now perfect! Thank you David and Suellen.
It makes a difference when a company is this awesome!! Moved into a new build house with an Eddi and a Zappi, several of the onsite electricians have played around with the settings etc. One call to the customer support team and they remotely sorted all the issues out and offered great advice and support. I will always recommend MyEnergi products now, purely for the aftercare service.

Impressed with patience and ability to walk me through all the screens on my Zappi to reset connection that had been lost. Took a long time (call length around an hour) but tech support were happy to stay on call as all digital connections made. Also impressed that myenergi tech team knew more about Octopus go tariff and how it linked to electric cars, than prior call with octopus tech team. Only length of time stops this being a 5 star review

Sorted out my Zappi 2 "lost connection" problem by e-mail - but it did take a few days (and the weekend didn't help) An online chat would have been useful - and probably quicker Thanks though for sorting problem
Sam on the technical support desk was very patient with me. We got my Zappi set up and ran through some additional options. He then sent me some very helpful guides. I feel much more confident with electric vehicle charging now. Thank you for being so helpful!
My Zappi charger stopped working after three years. I do not expect a warranty, but need my charger fixed. The local company that fitted the charger were ordered by MY Energi to pass the problem to them. Despite emails over a number of weeks they sre again asking for information already supplied and no progress. My friend got a Tesla charger at the same time and had an issue and Tesla sent out an engineer recalibrated the system without any fuss. Please avoid the Zappi system I think at only four years old I stuck with a charger that cost a lot of money but no longer works and My Energi do not care
One star is too many. My 10 month old Zappi stopped working, I was referred to My Energi by my installer. They are not geared up to deal with the end user, no sense of urgency, no empathy and total lack of communications skills. After one week I still have no date for this to be rectified and no response to my question about picking up the cost of public charging. Dreadful.There really is no hope of getting good service when the company do not give accurate information in their reply.
Had a problem connecting replacement Zappi charger with the Octopus App. The Octopus & myenergi help staff were persistent and communicated frequently to successfully resolving my issues.

I recently encountered significant issues with Myenergi's service regarding my Zappi product, which I discovered to be faulty. I logged the issue on June 24, 2024, and while I appreciated receiving a replacement product, I was informed that I would need to wait for an installation date. A local installer, NMD EV Charging Solutions, accepted the job and was supposed to reach out to me. However, weeks have passed, and despite my numerous emails and phone calls to Myenergi for updates, I have received no response. This lack of communication and support has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling neglected as a customer. I expected better service from a company that specializes in such important technology. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing, and I hope Myenergi can improve its customer service in the future.
Leaving aside the original Zappi charger failed after 5 years of less-than nightly use (for charging a15Kw battery) getting it setup correctly was achieved all the more smoothly by the engineer who called (following me raising a support call on the phone). He was calm, knowledgeable and didn't baulk at me adding additional faults with the setup that needed resolving and in 15 minutes we were all back up and running with that all-too difficult (but cheap) Octopus Intelligent Go tariff..
