I have a Zappi that was installed March 2020. So 3 years, 3 months i.e. out of warranty. It has stopped working and I have requested support from myenergi. Three weeks later the only response I have from them is a boilerplate reply along the lines of t'try these remedies that have nothing to do with the symptoms you describe' and 'we are closing this ticket'. Seems like once you are out of warranty, not interested
Very disappointing support. Purchased a Zappi to take advantage of my surplus solar however when set to Eco++ it discharges my Powerwall. Logged a support ticket for help and 8 days later got a message with links to the guidance that I already checked saying to raise another ticket if I have an issue if I think it’s Important enough. With my other charger (PodPoint) I have access to immediate help desk support via chat or telephone and when the charger failed it was replaced within 2 days. MyEnergi support is disappointing.
I have a v2 Eddi from myenergi it’s a great bit of kit the detects my excess solar and uses this to heat my hot water tank thus saving the need to use my gas boiler to heat my water I 100% recommend the addition of an Eddi if you have solar
Email received to say my support ticket is just being closed with no effort at all at reply or resolution. I’d really avoid this company which is sad as they have good technology but can’t back it with basic service.
Asked for support from my energia app which had stopped working completely for no reason. Nothing for 5 days, no response or contact and then an email to say my ticket or request has been deleted and I should fix it myself. The worst of customer support....avoid. I am truly impressed with the level of expertise and dedication demonstrated throughout the entire support process. must also mention the efficiency of the support service. Despite the complexity of the problem, the timely responses and the quick resolution prevented any disruption to my workflow. Firmware update to v5 has been a major issue. Having updated both Eddi and Zappi to v5, still the App doesn't work. Calls to the technical helpline ring out (tried 3 times and went mad with the music!) and emails are not replied to. If a firm updates firmware it should check it works before releasing. Having made this mistake then the next thing is to ensure support is there to help their customers. The support is non existent.
My ZAPPI lost communication with the app. After some investigation I discovered that the ZAPPI was no longer connected to my wi-fi and I could not rectify the issue. I reported my problem with the support desk. Almost by return I was asked to supply some information. After an exchange of a few emails the issue was resolved. A first class service from Akrum. Thank you.
Really prompt and helpful reply from Akrum and fixed the problem quickly after i had been tearing my hair out
Excellent support. "Local Comms Lost" issue appeared after updating my Eddi to v5.178 firmware but turned out it was actually due to my Eddi detecting my neighbour's Eddi & Harvis which were unfortunately set on the same channel and the system then got confused with too many [conflicting] devices - some with question marks after them in the display. Support Agent treated me like an adult (refreshingly) and walked me promptly through the procedures to Reset the linked devices, Re-enable the Master & vHub, Change the channel on my devices and then Relink those devices to the Eddi. Problem solved, system fully functional again and process only took around 5min in total. Very pleased with MyEnergi's support service.
We have not been able to use our Zappi 2 for the last two nights. I have a yellow warning triangle on the app and yesterday morning logged a help request. I understand they have recently done an upgrade but our Zappi 2 is still showing the older version and nothing I do can get it to upgrade. I have tried ringing the technical support number and was on hold for 25 minutes then a voice cut in and told me to log a help request, which I did yesterday, and then cut me off. Most disappointed at the lack of customer service and the fact we were not notified of any upgrades! My husband has now had to take the car into town to get it charged!
I emailed with an issue I was having using my Zappi. I had a response in 48 hours with clear directions to enable me to sort my issue, unfortunately I was still not able to fix it. I emailed again and was given a date and time for a callback. Suellen called, she was patient, knowledgeable and helped me to resolve the issues. Excellent prompt service! Thank you
I had problems with my zappi and eddi after a v5 upgrade, which was disappointing. Took a prompt on twitter to get tech support on the case after my initial email (think a lot of users were experiencing problems after the firmware upgrades), but then they were quickly able to remotely change settings for me and got things back up and running properly.

My Zappi developed a fault - quick phone call with tech support and replacement Zappi was sent. Very quick installation by approved installer. All now working. Very satisfied with the service provided by myenergi
I have no idea at all how people can post such positive reviews of this company. Through absolutely no fault of ours, we have ended up with a Zappi with a known overheating fault on one of the charge connector sockets. Myenergi had emailed us (although it was so poorly written it looked like a phishing attempt) and I responded with the requested photos. They confirmed our unit is affected and sent a replacement. Since then nothing. They have reduced the output of our charger to 3.6kW so charges take much longer and I am waiting for someone to contact me to arrange installation. The phone is NEVER answered and cuts you off after 21 minutes every time. I have emailed and updated their support ticket on the portal. If you don't have solar, or any plans, AVOID!!!
My original Zappi developed a fault. Myenergi arranged the replacement in a very timely fashion. The delivery of the new unit, the installation by approved electricians and the support afterwards was good. The tech support team were great - good clear replies, helping me understand and solve the various set up items of fairly technical kit. Once set up, it is easy to use, and works well. There are bits of setting up in the beginning that need sorting for each individual circumstances. After that, it looks after itself/ My Zappi integrates with my PV & battery storage really well, and with my 'off peak' tariff. It is SMART , and and it feels like this is new technology expanding into the main stream. In 10 years time, I think this will be widespread, and I hope Myenergi keep innovating & provide the great support to be part of our transition to a society with low carbon consumption
Terrible customer service. Firmware update several weeks ago has caused all sorts of problems for customers, but rather than sending out communications and rolling back the update they are choosing to totally ignore their customers, costing them money, stress and inconvenience in the meantime. I have had numerous emails ignored and when I tried to call support I was hold for 28 minutes before being cut off.
I have a complicated system with 2 PV systems and a battery. Akrum was brilliant in spending the time to get a new hub they sent out up and running and then advising on the best combination of hard wiring to the Zappi EV charger and linking the battery via the Harvi
