Tom in Myenergi Technical Support talked me through the configeration of my Eddi and Harvi with great patience and skill. Thank you Tom. You are a credit to the company.
I have an early Zappi EV charger which requires a "Hub" to sit wirelessly between my home ethernet and the Zappi. The hub can be updated except mine could not be. After some phone calls I was sent another. This arrived with the unit not snapped together. In the box was a card with a URL printed on it (no QR code) which would take me to a webpage explaining how to install it. This URL takes you to their shop. I have asked for assistance via email multiple times, just a working URL would be a good start. The new Hub is still sitting on the side unused. The old hub has now stopped working. If you buy a product from this company expect to spend a long time on the phone. They don't respond to emails. I tried searching their website but could not find any troubleshooting information. Edit response to below: I replied on the 29th June at 13:08. I still do not know how to install the new hub. Additionally I now notice that when charging using solar panels there is also quite a lot being drawn from the grid. I have thus given up using the panels to charge me EV as I am not convinced this is saving any money. I have some screenshots which I will forward. Update Sat 10/8/2025 Nice chap phoned on Wednesday in response to my previous edit on this site. As I was driving I suggested they provide support via email. "OK I will send you an email and we can get started". No email arrived. Yesterday I arrived home with 34% in my EV. I have set up the charger to take advantage of the cheap overnight rate. In that scheduled 4 hour period it will add almost exactly 50% to to the car. This used to work well (I don't want it charged to 100%). This morning I saw that it was at 100%. I investigated the charge history to find that both for yesterday and today there was none. Yay free electricity! Oh no funnily enough I see there is a spike in consumption from my electricity supplier. For my needs the best bet would be to stop using the Zappi and use the granny charger along with a mains timer. Update 16/8/24 Phoned and eventually spoke to Darren who is certainly knowledgeable. He talked me through adding the hub and starting the Zappi update. He was first class. Some observations were that there are still no hub instructions. The "Eco" mode on the Zappi is a misnomer in my view. This mode will charge at 1400 Watts. If there is no solar excess, it takes it all from the grid. "Trickle" would be better. The "Eco plus" is identical except that you can define how much may be drawn from the grid as a percentage. This prevents an EV being charged at peak rate if not enough solar power is available. The descriptions of both these modes on the app is identical, thus the confusion. I was told if you send an email it will not be read, you have no idea it is being ignored. So phone is the only option. I feel a bit better about this company now. 11/12/24 Another whinge. I have been using this system to add 4 hours of cheap night charge. Somehow the mode was changed and my wife was due to make a longer journey. The app is poor in two ways. If you set the mode it changes immediately on the app but reality takes some time. Also the schedule is not greyed out in modes where it cannot be used. It was late and I was tired and could have done with an app that was not so confusing. I write software for a living and would be ashamed if I had written this.
Excellent service from myenergi. My call was picked up quickly, no hanging about on the line as is normal these days. My issue was solved within a few minutes. Well done myenergi đđđ.
Mega. Nach 2,5 Jahren. Das gibt es nicht oft.
Bailey on technical support was great very knowledgeable and quickly solved from problem with my Eddi immersion controller
The phone call was answered quickly and Suellen then dealt with our Eddi and Zappi issue promptly. She diagnosed the problem using supplied images of the app and then coached us through the menu system to resolve the problem fully. Top service from Myenergi and Suellen. Thank you.
Had 4 zappi charger fitted two years ago and when one failed to charge was told to update firmware but the zappi wound not update, So i requested an engineer but no one responded to my request and still not working months later.
Quick call to my-Energy and my Zappi was fixed, brilliant
Be aware that this company designed, manufactured the Immersun diverter which looked and performed in similar ways as the Eddi. I bought one of these and it blew up just before the warranty had run out and then they liquidated the company. It appears that they haven't changed their ways with poor quality and high priced products. They also reply with one of those smarmy âlessons learntâ excuses for their deceptive behaviour.
Being new to EV charging, I reached out to myenergie support. Bailey asked me to run some tests and send photos of my unit. The result was that it was working fine however the issue could be with the car settings or the rating of the charging cable. I found Bailey very helpful and his advice has been very useful.
Polite and so helpful, I am pretty old and useless on computers and need lots of help. Your service was excellent with good humoured "Banter" which was needed as computer operated lifestyle and I do not mix! Your patience was so very much appreciated and made us both laugh (Myself and "The Boss"! At the moment all is well and still working, however another trip into the unknown is bound to occur soon but we hope that the system continues to work and thank you for your assistance - much appreciated. I have a zappy and solar battery problem the data graphs I have a zappy and solar battery. In November 2023 the app and website stopped giving any graph data. I was told it had dropped off he cloud. I have waited and time has passed, (I did not chase) since starting to chase (23rd May 2024) I've been given two ticket numbers 329772 and 341536, I phone weekly to be promised that it will be looked into and someone will come back to me. Today, after been on the phone for 18 minutes I was told a team leader would call me at 1pm, guess what No call! Very disappointing, as when the app works it works well Its now Tuesday 16th July and I'm still awaiting an update Date of experience: 19 June 2024 Edit Reply from myenergi 26 Jun 2024 Hi June, We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you've encountered. Your experience has not met the standards we aim to uphold. Our Team Leader for GB Support, Ryan, has already reached out to you and is actively working to resolve the issues you're facing. Thank you for your patience and understanding. _________________________ Monday 22nd July, still waiting for an update from Ryan, sent several emails but no reply...... hopefully I'll get a reply from this
After trying to do this for sometime I arranged a call with Peter. He was aware of our age, senior citizens , and our slowness at inputting. He was very patient with us and gave us the confidence to proceed. Very soon we were connected and our myenergi app working again. Thank you
Had the Zappi 2 for 2 years but only used for 18 months due to car delivery being delayed by Covid: For the money it really is a poor, unreliable product. It has a user interface with logic and appearance on a par with the original Atari game consoles if 40 years ago. Trying to do simple stuff like keep the firmware updated is a real pain and I have lost count of the times I have woken up to my car not being charged as expected. Customer service is really bad and trying to get this thing fixed under warranty feels like dealing with a sleazy second hand car dealer. Avoid this product and company like the plague and spend your money much more wisely than I did.
The first EV charge with my Zappi and I could't get it to sync with the car. Iphoned the helpline who could look at my installation and emailed me back with more support. Excellent customer service from Akrum.
I had a problem resetting my Eddi. Sam was very helpful and talked me through the process very clearly and with great patience. All working fine now. Thank you Sam
I had a new Eddi installed but it didnât appear to be working. I updated the firmware and had a phone chat with Myenergiâs Tech Support (Tom) who was able to check things remotely and explain the setup. Tom explained things clearly and put my mind at ease.
I was having trouble with the scheduling of my Zappi charger as when I set the charger the car was still charging. I had a call from a very knowledgeable technician and, whilst my Zappi had been set up incorrectly by the installers, he amended my settings and explained to me how the Zappi works with my solar panels and so I am now fully informed on why they would charge when on schedule and how to make the most of my surplus energy. Such a relief to now fully understand how it works!!!
Sam was really helpfull giving a step by step guide to resolving the issue. He knew the product inside out and was able to get to the problem quite quickly.

Jul 29,2024Myenergi customer support is so good! Their representative (Tom) had great Technical Support knowledge and as an IT person myself we quickly resolved the issue. The Myenergi products are superb if you have an air source heat pump and the Zappi with the Octopus Go Intelligent tariff is excellent!
