Newton Property Management are first class Property factors. Our Property Manager John is always so helpful. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Any queries are answered right away. I am happy to award 5 stars for the great service provided.
The management of my property was recently taken over by Newton Property. I had reservations regarding this as the last factor left me with no faith in the industry. After speaking with Fraser, my concerns were appeased and I am confident service levels will improve
Took very long to get something done about dampness in property
Terrible company. Avoid. Awful management, worse admin, disgraceful workmanship provided by them. Ultimately cost us tens of thousands to fix their mistakes. Do yourself a favour and do not make the mistake we did in using this firm
Newton recently took over management of our estate. Did not get off to a great start with invoice errors, staff unable to answer queries and not returning calls. On my fifth ‘phone call today, I spoke to Jack Moran who listened patiently, took note of my queries and returned my call ten minutes later with answers. Jack was polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
Rosheen was able to explain how to set a direct debit up very clearly. I have found it more difficult with age, but she made the process really easy and she was very lovely to speak to. She took the “elderly embarrassment” when it comes to technology completely away. Thank you so much Rosheen
Kiran Singh from the Aberdeen branch is a joy to deal with, resolving issues quickly. Thanks
Lauren was very helpful and polite
From initially connecting with Kiran, she dealt with my enquiry promptly and professionally. Super friendly service and quick responses. Thank you!
Newton Property took over Factoring our Development from our previous factor. On 3/6/24 I telephoned them with a query. I spoke to Ewan Pringle, who was extremely polite and helpful, and within a matter of hours emailed me with details of my enquiry. Sandra Weaver
I have had a lot of dealings with the property manager for my mums flat and have always found him to be polite and helpful with any issues we have had.. Recently, we have had several issues with water ingress and John has been on hand to take my calls, reply to emails, organise visits from trades and keep us updated with everything.
Newton Property took over factoring our property on the 15/04/2024. Some work was needing done urgently which was looked at and carried out promptly. Jamie-Lee McKelvie, our property manager has been attentive and quick to take action on matters that have been asked of her. A great start.
I have been dealing with Factors for many, many years and let's be honest, no one likes them!!!! Newton Factor (and my Property Manager - Linda Thomson) have changed my thinking on this. Linda has been particularly helpful with all 'day to day' issues and was fantastic when our property was subjected to two incidents during the recent storms, (tree down leading to a collapsed wall and roof rendering problems), ensuring contractors were contacted, estimates received and work carried out in a speedy manner. Linda is quick to respond to calls and is both professional and customer focused when I have needed to contact Newton. Would definitely recommend Newton as a factoring solution.
Good customer service - issue resolved quickly.
I do not live in the property which Newton manages so I rely on the managers and staff to assist when problems arise. It was quite difficult to get the phone answered when I pressed ‘1’ for factoring enquiries; I think the staff there must have been on holiday. However when I got through I was greatly helped by Rhea who fielded my query, was knowledgeable about the situation although it wasn’t her direct responsibility and navigated her way through the system to get me the help I needed. Rhea was very courteous, helpful and a calming influence. She took the initiative to get back to me to tell me what she had done and what to expect. She is a credit to the company and a great ambassador as first line of contact.
Very responsive
Brandon dealt with my two queries today. He was very helpful and efficient.
Great service from Bradley.
After a disappointingly long wait for my phone call to be answered , poor handling of details and a dropped call when transfer was made ( with no follow up call to apologise ) I was treated excellently by the person directly connected to my call . Prompt , clear and helpful . Pity about the first contact

Jun 27,2024UPDATE! Landscape company turned up at 8 & left at 1.30, only 2 men on job. Half a shift for half a job. No grass cut at front, side or back of my property also a lot of the neighbours unsatisfied. No weeding done at all. They were told to only cut grass. This is the company Newton wants to offer the annual contract to. Looks like we'll be looking for a new factor. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! If I could give this company no stars I would. Newton are supposed to manage our grounds. We are a very small development with only 2 small roads & they can't even manage that. Our so called grass has only been cut once this year so we are now thigh high in weeds instead of grass. The residents have individually & collectively contacted Newton on numerous occasions only to be fobbed off. The whole site will now need to be strimmed as it's too long for any mower & we are expected to pay even though Newton have been aware of the situation for months now. The play park is also grassed & now unusable with bins not emptied leading to health & safety issues such as rodant infestation. We've been promised a one-off cut for weeks now & apparently it will get done this Saturday (28/06/'24). I'll believe it when I see it. We've also been told that our landscaping costs will rise by an extra £5,600 annually!!! This is the worst factor I have come across in my many house moves. Our once lovely little development is now, as someone so aptly put it "a sh▪︎t tip". If you're thinking about a move to Newton, think carefully. Note, a lot of the recent reviews are from new customers. So are Newton prioritising new customers & neglecting existing ones or have they just bitten off more than they can chew???
