The level of service received from Rhea at Newton property can best be described as second to none. For a service like no other, please ask specifically for Rhea. She's absolutely totally superb at what she does. Always on the ball!

There was an issue with the North Disabled Access Lifts in the Herald Building on Albion Street where they appeared not to be working. This was an immediate issue for us because we have a 4 week old baby and require access to and from the building with a buggy. Without the access lifts, it is almost impossible to do so, rendering us effectively housebound. We spoke to the building manager, John Hempstead, who was extremely helpful, very pleasant to deal with and very understanding of the situation. John acted upon our request immediately and did everything he could to help get the issue resolved and keep us informed. In dealing with John, it was also obvious that he was very knowledgeable and on top of all issues within the building. I can't thank John enough for his help in dealing with this matter and I'm delighted to say that the access platform is now working for us and everyone in the building.

Newton have taken over our property management at the Moorings in Largs they have been sharp communicative and on the ball explaining everything involved with the take over in a professional and timely manner. checking the tradesmen locally that manage our apartments, they have carried out due diligence on the contracts which were in place to ensure we get the right price for maintaining our properties and best value Crawford site manager is approachable and goes the extra mile to resolve issues so I know this high standard continue through the contract thank you. I felt I should write a very positive review regarding our property manager - John Hempstead. I am a member of one of the Residents Associations at the Glasgow Harbour. John has been our new property manager for the past 12 months or so and he's been a breath of fresh air. He is working really hard alongside our RA and attends regular meetings with us on site. He genuinely cares about our development and works so hard on behalf of all the owners and residents. I can imagine his job is far from easy and is extremely challenging on an almost non stop basis. However, John, doesn't moan, just gets on with it and tackles each issue head on. I am looking forward to a close working relationship with John and the RA and we all continue to deliver more improvements, etc. Well done John and keep up the good work. Craig

We have had some remedial works carried out recently by our Factor, Newton Property. Our Property Manager, Jamie-Lee McKelvie is extremely efficient, pleasant to deal with and has a positive attitude. She responds quickly to any issues raised and resolves them promptly. This isva very refreshing change from our previous factor whom we opted to remove. In addition, the Contractors she has appointed have been of a high standard.

I first spoke to Property Manager Jack Moran two weeks ago. There had been several outstanding repairs that were transferred to Newton Property Management by my former Management Company. Jack listened to the issues, assured me he would look into them and update me in two days time. When Jack called he was able to confirm that much of the work was already in the hands of a local firm. Today great progress was made when some of the work was completed. Jack called again to discuss what works had been carried out and the plan to get the other jobs underway. He was polite and listened to me, giving all the information I needed and taking time to inform me of the benefits of ebilling and paying by direct debit. I am very impressed with the level of dedication to clients Jack has and he is a credit to his employers.

Very strange you say you don't manage the property. It was Split the winds church george street, flats 7 to 11. The council change our side to Powis place as it faced that road several years ago. Also it was your staff with your logo on their clothes who came round regarding painting the front doors, carpets and upcoming painting of communal areas. Also it was the cleaning company complaining to you several months ago about the mess everywhere and they don't get paid to clean up after builders. Maybe the address change is where the confusion is. Although this would surprise me.

Although my call was to follow up something that’s been unresolved for months ( actually years), one conversation with Abbey has resulted in a very positive way forward. And as she was so proactive I’ve no doubt the situation will be concluded successfully soon.

Newton took over property management at my development after an owner-vote to remove the previous factor. The development has communal stairwells (cleaning), extensive grounds (gardening) and usual array of admin for communal insurance, communal roof and building repairs, and dealing with longer standing issues from the previous poor factor. The initial service from Newton's was very good, then they struggled in the 2nd half of 2023 until a change of property manager. Since taking over, Justine has been working very hard to resolve the backlog of issues in the development and resolve some very long standing issues caused by, or not dealt with, by the previous dreadful factor we had. Some issues take a while to fix, and a lack of sufficient owners interested in forming a new Residents Association makes her job harder, but seeing the results of her hard work now and building strong relationship with interested owners in the absence of a committee.

Really helpful response from Louise Kennedy (the account manager) who got in touch quickly when I had a Portal issue. Everything was sorted out straight away and I am really happy with the service.

I've been in dispute with Newton Property for five years now, no one seems to hang around long enough to get issues sorted. A Very difficult company to deal with, I'm basically paying them maintenance charges for nothing. Now I've been threatened with bailiffs as I refuse to pay for a service they're not providing. For five years I've been tending to communial areas that Newton are meant to maintain, this is the same all round our estate.

Newton Property have been dealing with the communal area in our housing estate for many years however we have had many problems over the last few months particularly in relation in to being charged for work that they did not carry out. The site manager in the Aberdeen has been unresponsive and not helpful at all which left no option other than to contact Catherine Flanagan in the Head Office in Glasgow who has been extremely helpful and will always take a phone call, reply to emails etc. I have great faith that she will resolve our issues as right now every householder in our estate has no trust whatsoever in Newton. Catherine is a pure asset to Newton, I hope her directors can take note of this and also the negative side aswell, 5 stars purely for Catherine, 1 unfortunately for Newton.

John Hempstead, the Senior Property Manager was extremely helpful, understanding, polite at all times and considerate of my frustrations at the lack of action. The rendering was completed after a lengthy delay through no fault of his efforts. He was diplomatic and very fair in his decisions and did not give me empty promises or fob me off. He explained everything truthfully and so I was able to agree with him when he presented the best way so solve this problem. John did not criticise the contractor but only had one thought to keep the customer happy. He explained in a thoughtful and calm manner how this matter could be resolved and it has been. John is indeed an asset to Newton factors
