Apr 12,2024This company had a good offer on a dining table and chairs. Unfortunately, they tried to charge £63 for delivery (about 20% of the value of my order, and treble the delivery cost to England) for delivery to Scotland (mainland, not Highlands). Customer services were unwilling to waive this surcharge. EDIT: Prospective customers may be interested to learn that Oak Furniture Superstore has tried, twice, to remove this review. The latest attempt involved the claim that my review was for another business. This is confusing indeed, given that they also tried to telephone to offer to waive the excess delivery charge after all. EDIT 2: Equally, it's disappointing that your unreasonable and incoherent delivery charges (which are indeed your fault), upon which you're doubling down, have prevented me from purchasing from you. Nevertheless, my review is a fair evaluation of my experience with your business, and so it stands, despite your dishonest attempts to remove it. I already communicated with your customer services about the charges being waived, and they refused, as mentioned in my original review. I've no obligation to help you out again.

Apr 08,2024Really good company. Very happy... Was a bit apprehensive with the long lead time but delivery was bang on 7 weeks (7-9 weeks at order point). The quality is brilliant! Well packaged, chairs were delivered fully assembled and covered in protective wrap. easy assembly and delivery guys were very professional even giving some advice on how to assemble. Oak table is proper solid and stable and looks great.

Apr 04,2024The online process is very easy. I bought a side table and it was delivered the next day. You can't say better than that! This is my 2nd purchase and both have been excellent. The furniture is great quality and very reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from them again.

Apr 04,2024**Update to original review** My mother has received a full apology from both the removal company and the manager of the store as well as having her delivery fee refunded. Lee the manager also offered to have the chairs assembled for her free of charge. I have upgraded the review to four stars to reflect this. The online ordering process was easy and straightforward, unfortunately the purchase was let down by the rude two man delivery team. I ordered the chairs for my frail and elderly 82 year old Mother and requested in the delivery notes that one chair be placed upstairs as she is obviously unable to lift it herself. She had to be insistent with the delivery team to take them out of the very large box so she could examine them for any faults. When she requested the packaging be taken away they refused and did not even offer to put the unmanageable box outside for her. The website implies the chairs are fully assembled (which is why we chose them) but you have to screw the seat pads onto the frames yourself. This purchase was let down by a rude delivery team but both the delivery company and the furniture store have gone above and beyond to apologise and rectify the situation for my Mother.

Apr 02,2024Purchased several items from here and been impressed on all occasions with the quality of the item, customer service and the delivery process. One item had a fault and was exchanged the very next day. I want to buy more...the only thing that stops me is the items I want have VERY long delivery times...11-13 weeks. Its just too long sadly but they are excellent otherwise.
