At the beginning I thought they were the classic sales person just looking into selling all portfolio. However, they are amazing in supporting the business itself and also in suggesting wine to create a strong list and not only selling random labels. Nov 24,2024Well I to give credit where it's due. I haven't been altogether happy with my experience as an investor with Oeno, but since writing my initial review their response has been great. My wines are being transferred into my personal account at London City Bond, and they have offered me a suitable substitute for the only one that is still at the vineyard in order to speed up the process. Assuming all goes according to plan and the wines show up in my account next week, I am happy to consider the situation full resolved.

Nov 13,2024Do not invest with this company. If you value your money, or every want to see it again, avoid this company. I've invested a significant amount in 05/2022 to 07/2023. Upon which I wanted some money back from my investment. After this process taking a long time with false promises of "I've sold some wine, you'll get paid at the end of the month" and then even the month after nothing, I requested to have my entire portfolio liquidated. Understandably, this is not a quick process, however I had not expected to be here nearly 18 months later having received about 5% of my investment back. I continually email to request updates, and I continually get told either nothing has sold, or if something has sold they're waiting for the invoice to be paid, and if the invoice has been paid they will pay me at the end of the month. Yet nothing comes at the end of the month, or the month after when I yet again ask for updated. Oh they'll "chase that up for me" and then never get back to me. Considering how little money I've got back after this period of time it's really starting to smell like a massive scam, maybe a Ponzi Scheme? I asked to go and visit my wines in the London City Bond to see my wines in stock. I was then called by someone "high up" to convince me not to do this, everything is fine...trust us. Even if this is not a scam, it's 100% not profitable, so there's zero reason to invest in the first place. I was promised an average of over 10% each year, but my manager said even that was a little low, he'd hit 12% if it was up to him. What a joke.

Nov 01,2024They were supposed to refund me for some of my wines - nothing has been received. They simply stopped responding to my emails after I started asking uncomfortable questions. They have zero respect for their customers. Don’t be misled by the prestigious image they falsely create around themselves – they are incompetent, untrustworthy, and not worth entrusting with any money.

Sep 26,2024Buongiorno. Io ho acquistato le prime bottiglie nel 2020 ed a seguire 2021, 2022 e 2023. Ho venduto le prime ad inizio 2023 senza problema alcuno e con un buon guadagno. Adesso anche io sto cercando di forzare la mano con un paio di contratti di Brokerage ma, al di là della fiducia che uno può o meno riporre in Oeno, il mercato delle vendite adesso non va. E questo l'ho verificato anch'io prima di chiamare loro. Lo stesso riscontro l'ho avuto da un amico che ha fatto investimenti nello stesso periodo con un concorrente di Oeno. Con Sindy Galasso, che con pazienza mi sta supportando e sopportando, stiamo cercando di incanalare almeno alcune bottiglie di vino italiano verso la vendita. Confido di arrivare in fondo almeno con queste e spero che il mercato si riprenda nei prossimi mesi. Il vino comunque non è argento, oro o Bitcoin. Ha logiche di mercato diverse.

Sep 25,2024I started investing in Oeno at the end of 2021 and the problems started at the beginning of 2023, when my account manager tricked me, by recommending the short trade of purchasing £30k of wines for the Pandolfini auction to be sold the year after, while he would sell in parallel £30k of my initial portoflio. The result is that I added £30k at the beginning of 2023, Oeno have sold only £3k so far from my initial portfolio, and the £30k Pandolfini wines were never sold in 2024 (despite another account manager took over and promised to sell the £30k by end of 2023). Overall, I am currently in c. 15% loss after 3 years and the service from Oeno has been terrible (on top of keep providing the same excuses for not selling the wines, it takes forever to receive visibility on the status of the sales or on your portfolio). It is by far the worst investment that I have ever made and I made the mistake of trusting Oeno, without properly understanding the company and the market. Going forward, I asked to my account manager to sell all my portfolio by the end of 2025, giving plenty of time to execute. I will keep you updated on the progress.

These liquid investments are illiquid, they should be bought with a mid-long term investment horizon, don’t expect to snap your fingers and sell at a moments notice unless you’re willing to take a hit. I trust the team completely and dare I say we have a lot of fun too.
