I bought a sewing machine to keep me occupied in lockdown, finance was through omni, it was simple to apply and my sewing machine arrived 2 days later, now i can track my account online, all very straightforward.
I bought a golf club on 12 month finance. It was really convenient way to pay for my putter. Interest free each month and my putter was paid for - simple.
Following on from my rather scathing previous review, I reported this company to the Financial Ombudsman and the Financial Standards Authority and now have I managed to get my full amount back from them for an order to 'City Blinds & Shutters' that went in to liquidation 3 days after taking my order. I took out an 'unregulated' loan but this company chased and hounded me with phone calls, emails & texts day after day until to stop it all, I paid in full just to get the nuance calls to stop. When I did speak to them to explain that I was never going to get my blinds, they just claimed 'unregulated' loan you have to pay us despite me never getting my (or ever going to get) my goods. They were in breach of their own contract by paying the amount to the liquidated company before I received the goods, I fought with them tooth and nail with the help of Trading Standards and eventually got it all back. OK it took over a year, but be brave and take them on!
I was very worried, first I got a loan from them and only then I checked the reviews. But for me it was absolutely straightforward, filled out some documents- received money - done. And very good customer service. Can't fail them at all.
I have to give at least one star but if I could it would be minus 5 stars. Omni Capital owe me money for taking a full last payment which should have been halve this amount. This was in May 2021. Despite promises to reimburse this cash they have failed to do so and despite promises to find out what the issue is with their finance team, have failed to give me any update. Do not use this company!!!
Terrible company referred to me by another terrible company (Online Diverse trainers). Customer service is terrible, staff are cheeky and they spewed a bunch of lies when I took up finance with them about how easy it would be to change what account it came out of etc. Now they want a WRITTEN LETTER????? for any changes. Avoid at all costs.
Bought solar panels, there rep came round told me about them, how good they areand I will get paid off the national grid, Not true, told me when my battery is full it automatically sends it off to thr grid and I get paid, not true, he also said that this would work out at £10 per week, not true it is costing me £125.07 per month, I ccomplained to the company but they closed ranks and said they couldn't find any mal practice, If I can pay it off I will and don't want anything else to do with them, total bull s....ers
Utterly horrendous. They keep filing late payments against me on my credit report yet I’ve never missed or made a late payment. It’s utterly shocking behaviour and having a negative impact on my credit score! Shame on you.
Declined. Never had outstanding finance, Completely clear credit history, Have the money in the back to pay the loan immediately. Feel sorry for those who work there
Paid the account in full with a lump sum in 2019. Get letters and phone calls from a bailiff in 2021 more than two years later telling me I still owe money on my account. Ordered a bank statement and it clearly shows I made the payments. I have been going about my life happily not knowing my credit level has likely been destroyed by a mistake at their end. Hoping this will get sorted as it was their representative that took my final payment, not me. My credit rating shouldn't have to suffer for their mistake.
Avoid by all means!!!!!!!!!

Amazingly enough I haven't actually commenced payments to my loan just yet but I have had to speak to Omniport on multiple occasions regarding my application before fulfilment which have all been great. All staff members I've spoken to have been extremely helpful and patient with my endless questions regarding Ts & C's, interest, lump sum payments etc. As of today, I have been in dispute with the retailer fulfilling the order because they activated my contract with Omniport 2 months too early in error which has caused extreme distress on my part. In the multiple calls I have made to Omniport I've found their staff helpful and polite. I am familiar with how loans work and what is within a company's remit to do and on this occasion in particular being under a lot of stress I spoke with Adam for perhaps the 2nd or 3rd time since opening my account who I cannot praise enough. He was very calm listening to me vent and spiral with my concerns and provided me with solutions to rectify the issue which was neither mine or Omniports error. I will soon be starting payments for a number of months so a lot of time to get acquainted with Omniport and will update my review if things change but at this point I would be surprised if my opinion of them changes and feel it is important to provide credit where credit is due and hope that I continue to have a good experience with them.
I have to say what a complete joke of a company as a merchant we recently have had our account closed just before lockdown ends due to not doing enough transactions via their service? WOW crazy! Guess they haven't seen the news about shops being closed for 3/4 of the last year? then go and close the account 1 week before reopening?
Brought a product from a store didn't receive the product . Sent 7 emails to the place I brought the product from and they didn't respond by this time I was already making payments on the finance agreement rang omniup to try and resolve the issue and get my money back . To get told they can't do anything I'm still paying for something I've not got and I'm only doing that so I don't effect much credit it's only been going on since January sort it out will you
I spoke to Shauna today regarding some changes I wanted to make on my account, she was very accommodating, polite and helpful.
No evidence on having any invoice records!!!! I've tried to call them multiple times - finally they picked up once and let them know I need my invoices asap as my company needs those... He promised to send me all the invoices that I've paid so far and of course he never did.... On their Omni self-service portal when I am logging into my account, there is no copies of invoices... nothing!!!! Very poor customer service, software system, approach to customer.
Terrible people not a good expereince
I wouldn't even trust them after what they did to my brother seen the statement myself doing this on behalf of him and everyone needs to be aware the fraudsters!!!!! Patrolbase orderd a gun kept on saying error so he tried 3 times on his card and and didn't work 4 times on his nanas card on all acasions they took a deposit out so they took money out 7 times even tho it didn't go through taking money what isn't there's and didn't work now they going to the bank to sort this out robbing someone else's money for no reason DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE £240 the exact amount !!!!!!! Out of pending to so they have actually tooken the money

After 6 years with them dealing with us ( to finance our customers ) they've completely tried to screw us over Do not in any way trust this company. Very rarely do I send these reviews, but the personal ( Who I won't name as I am not that sort of guy ) will do anything to screw you over If I could give 0 stars or even minus, I would. The reviews before me ( 2 star average ) seem to be better than my opinions. But who am I? Never. Ever trust these people.
