Hi , I found here quite few bad reviews about Omni capitals.I sign for HGV driver courses and take loan to pay if off from Omni , HGV company was closed in 2018 but now its 2020 and I am still paying for service which I never even started and cant even finish . The HGV company is not answering the phone and Omni said they cant cancel the payment as I owe it to them . Is there anything what i can do to stop the payment or anyone who could help me ? Its going £150 for next 2 year . Thanks a lot !
4 converstations with different people at your office. They are all reading the same script. We promise to call you back. Nothing. I need to discuss my issues with you but nobody at your offices has a clue about client support.
I was sold a solar panel system in August 2019, by a partner company (Saint Solar), on finance. I quickly realised that this system had been miss sold due to over promises by the sales representative. Due to this I contacted OMNI Capital to raise a complaint on 21st November 2019. Initially I received a fast and helpful response which talked me through the complaints process. Following a few conversations leading into February 2020 I was given a deadline of 21st February to compile all my evidence for the case to be reviewed. I did this, ensuring all possible information was sent across on time as requested. Having not heard anything between February and April I sent an email on April 18th asking for some clarity. I was called a few days later asking for additional information which I sent on the day. Following this I emailed on 26/5/20 asking for an update, this email was not responded to. Due to the this I contacted OMNI Capital by phone on June 1st. During this phone call I was informed the case had been passed onto the management team who needed to sign off on the final decision and I would be informed shortly. After not hearing anything during June I contacted again on 3/7/20, by phone and spoke to a helpful team member named Troy. Troy did some research into the claim and again informed me that the case was with management, and that I had to wait for a decision. He told me he had chased this up with management to hopefully speed up the process. Now in August, I am still waiting and have had to make 3 additional payments since being told I would have an answer soon. In the current economic climate it is difficult to pay for this finance, so to be told it would be sorted soon and still be sat waiting (and paying) is frustrating to say the least. There seems to be no interest from anyone in the company to offer any kind of information on this claim and instead happily take my money.
I made a rash decision to take out a loan whilst at the retailers. It was a spur of the moment decision which, when I got home I wished I'd never done. Well after a sleepless night, I contacted Omni Capital by phone the next morning and was greeted with a really helpful person called Shauna. She immediately put me at ease, guiding me through the cancellation procedure with no hard sell or recrimination. It was all sorted within minutes. I was genuinely surprised by her response and ease with which she handled my problem. I'd use Omni Capital again however, not while I'm holding the goods! Thanks again.
I took a 12 month interest free loan out with this company to purchase an item. I paid the 12 payments never had any bother from them at all. Would be 5 star but my only fault is being not being able to work out how to view my balance online 🙃 maybe its just me.
Be Careful!!! Be aware ! I wanted to gain HDV. Signed up the contract with New wave driving school and started paying monthly installments of £124 a month. After one year school stopped replying to any correspondence , ignored calls and stopped providing service. Contacted Omni capital they know nothing , been very unhelpful. Investigation took nearly two years didn’t get a refund just wasted my money , time and nerves. Stay away from Omni capital cuz all they care is money !
I can't complain. I have used these for 5 years for multiple purchases. I aim to make these my go to finance option. Read the terms to finance, make your agreed payments. cant see there being a problem
Stay clear of this company at all costs. I took out finance for made to measure blind however 2 days after signing and agreeing to terms and conditions the blinds company went into liquidation. According to my T & C with Omnicapital I had a 14 day ‘ cooling of period’ I therefore called Omnicapital to exercise my right to cancel the agreement within the 14 days but After various weeks of emails back and forth it turns out I didn’t have the right to cancel and my T & C were incorrect!! Despite no prospect of ever receiving my goods ( or any money loan) Omnicapital are holding me responsible for 12 monthly repayments. I now have a lawyer involved and hope that at least one of the many media outlets I plan to contact will highlight to the country how utterly disgraceful this company are.
I genuinely don't have any clue who these people are but they're on my credit file, saying that I'm not paying them, after taking payments for a few months... none of which show up on my bank statements either. Wrecking my credit file when I have never had any dealings with them.
Had a loan now for just over 2 years, been making regular payments with no defaults. The company the loan was paid went bust. Omni used a loophole that because the payment was made to me and not the company i was not insured. So i have been making payments of £300 +. now i want a statement that i have never NEVER received in the 2 years. I receive text messages telling when a payment is being claimed, they will not send to me as my email address does not match the one registered on there systemI only have 2 email addresses and one is business one ! This company is very reluctant to give information when requested.... if you have to choose get your loan through Lendable. They are brilliant. Pay more options online and statements to print view on your login. We needed the info for our solicitors. What is funny is i have the paper work that was sent to me confirming loan, showed the email address they are saying is not registered. They also sent through the post a letter showing the email address that is not on there system !!!! As the username and a password that i found in the archives of the email. I sent this to.there complaint dept complaints@ocrf. So still waiting However our solicitor whom we copied into did say she can submit a subject request assuming they will accept a solicitor ????? They are a shabby appalling company that needs to be looked into by the FCA
Spoke to Shauna, had missed a payment and was a lil confused by the phone system but she was incredibly friendly and imediately told me how to fix the issue and what had gone wrong. 5 star couldn't be happier
I spoke with a guy who said his the finance manager. I told him I want to stop direct debits and he told me that I can't he gave me a one word answer NO and told me to pay all the payments off. When you get this review don't even bother saying to me to do a complaint as l already did before I wrote this review. So alot of people will be reading this and I wanted to know will you stop my payment and not take any more money from my account. I want a precise answer.
No reason decline my application. Used another company for loan without any problems. Wouldn't recommend.
Had some problems with my application.Decide not to use this compony as it have bad rating.
I’ll save you some time, avoid like the plague!!! Unless you have £999 to throw away. They partner up with companies that go out of business and then can’t supply the service advertised, which in my case was a personal training course. I started the course in May 2019 and the company went out of business in August 2019 that’s just 4 months into what should have been a 12 Month course. When this happen I naturally cancelled my direct debit and notified Omnicaptial retail. Who demanded that I pay the full balance or risk having an adverse mark in my credit file (which they did do when I didn’t pay in time) even though I could hardly be blamed for them offering credit facilities a company that went bust! Omincapital finance essentially told me to pay up and get lost. The company in question omnicapital issued credit for was a company called Be a better you, Which is precisely the opposite of what I am now, as I’m a whole £999 out of pocket through absolutely no fault of my own. Although if I’d read the truckload of negative reviews, I might have avoided this so perhaps I only have myself to blame, even though I only wanted to improve my life. I have contacted the ombudsman but I presume they might get away with it because the loan was interest free you and are not protected against interest free loans.. from what omincapital have told me but we will see! You’re better off using you’re credit card which would have protected me in this case!! You have been warned!!! Beware!!! Update: I have received my money back + interest after engaging the ombudsman even though I was told I wasn't entitled to it by Omni capital Finance.
Applied for 980 pounds with good to excellent credit score depending on the agency. Been rejected with no reason given.
rip off, they work for companies that go bankrupt, you can't claim your money back from anyone, they threaten you and don't understand you've put all your savings into something and got SCREWED,
I am a current customer and thanks to the coronovirus my drop in income has left me short to cover loan payments, I contacted their call centre to explain my situation thanks to the Covid19, lady on the other end Hannah I believe was very helpful and was able to assist me with a brief payment holiday, very happy with the service.
Contacted them THREE TIMES to ask about offering my customers finance to kickstart business once we come out the other side of Coronavirus. Not even an automated email acknowledgement. I thought I'd look them up as a company on here, oh dear!!! FURTHER UPDATE: it took Trustpilot 6 weeks to look into this companies complaint about me & have honoured my review. Interesting though that they're bothered about reviews but not at all interested in helping potential customers. Shows their true colours I suppose! UPDATE: Can you believe they've complained to TrustPilot on the ground of: It contains advertising or promotional references & TP have temporarily removed my review. CAN YOU figure out who my company is from my comments?

Sep 23,2020Applied for £5,500 0% interest loan for hot tub through hot tub retailer. 999credit rating, so should be no problem. Declined!! No reason, no explanation. Now frustrated with hot tub retailer, as they must know how bad they are, yet openly advertising 0% interest which clearly you cannot get. Will not pay cash, so taking high moral ground and my cash somewhere else. Bandits!!!!!!
