Good We had booked a few flight passes before the pandemic started hoping to travel to our country but couldn't use it in 2020 as we preferred not to travel. But we could use it for 2021 and I must say it is not an easy task to get the bookings changed. It took us several e mails to get the changes done and chatting to the customer service should be avoided at any cost. E mails are a much better option but you need to be really patient if you want to get your job done. We had to change the return flights too due to the ban on entry and therefore a few more emails. But at the end of the process we got it done! The tagline is 'you can save some money if you have patience' :)
I've purchased a few flight pass before the outbreak of the pandemic. The parameters for advance booking was 60days. I tried to get two flight pass on a short notice and I got them. Unfortunately, I could not avail them, because I got the pass just one day before the departure. The company extended my passes as I could not use them due to the restrictions. Now I got one booking. They were generous and supportive in helping me out
Stay as far away as possible. I bought a flight pass packages, paid upfront. Yet, whenever I used those pass, I realized that My card payment is being debited again. I’ve been basically being double charged, for a total of £1k. I have sent 5 emails, spent countless hours on the phone trying to get an answer, and tried their online chat for customer service. Never got an answer (it’s been almost a month). They’re acting fraudulent. #scam
Optiontown's service is really well managed.
Have had difficult to resolve some flight booking but the latest support request sought was attended to in a timely manner, and do really appreciate, the service. It is my hope that this level of responsiveness is sustained. Regards, Ezekiel
My flights were canceled and there is no refund. I tried to call and emailing with no response. RJ keep referring me back to them!!!! Optiontown is a joke

Total scam, impossible to request refund for BA flights as they always use a template answer/excuse and never respond to follow ups. No one ever answers the phone or chat either.
Just stay away! I bought a flight pass via the British Airways website. Along came Covid, cancelled flights, and the end of the Optiontown flightpass. No refund given, all money lost! Countless online chats and unanswered emails later, I received voucher codes (I wanted a refund!) from British Airways customer service, that neither British Airways nor Optiontown seem to be able to turn into actual flight tickets. It is impossible to get through to Optiontown, they never answer their emails. Their chat agents promise to sort everything out - but then you'll never hear from them again.
NO REFUND GIVEN - SCAM ALERT In March 2021, the Optiontown/Britsh Airways partnership ending and it was advised that refunds for unused credits would be given. Countless emails to customer service with very limited response or generic copy and paste response and finally, in August 2021, Optiontown advised the refunds had been processed by British Airways and refunds would come to original payment card but about 10 days later, credit card company confirmed no refund has come. This is a scam. No response from their customer service since then and it seems there is no intention to provide the refund. I am struggling for more than 1 and half year to get my refund from OptionTown. I had upgraded my Thai Airways ticket through these scammers. They promise you a refund and give silly excuses. They have asked for my Bank details multiple times and till date there is no refund. Even post involving Thai Airways they have the audacity to not refund a single penny. Their Customer Care is the worst. They even give you fake transaction details which when I verified with my Bank never took place. Its the epitome of a scam website.
I am extremely satisfied with the services of option town. During the pandemic they have been very helpful and provided complimentary extension of our flight pass. They are prompt in their response and friendly in their approach.
Due to this Covid Situvation I could not able to use My flight pass but Optiontown Extended my travel period it really helped me. Customer care is really supportive Thanks Optiontown
Tried to upgrade and was not upgraded. The website promises refund within 5 business days of the flight. The flight was on July 30 and we are beginning September. I think this is a scam!
🚨BIG ALERT OF FRAUD/SCAM AT OPTIONTOWN & BRITISH AIRWAYS🚨 We bought an expensive pack of 24 flights in bulk in advance through a British Airways' partnership with Optiontown. We got an email saying they would terminate this program and obviously refund us for the unused flights we have purchased IN ADVANCE. However, this is FAKE! The channels provided to get the refunds DO NOT EXIST so that we are never able to get the refund. No one answers the phone or replies to emails for 2 months. How convenient, no? SHAME! British Airways has cancelled the partnership with optiontown and for the past few months i have been trying to get my money back but with no luck. When you book the flight pass, you need to pay a deposit and then you pay for each flight booking. After months of emails they refunded me the flight bookings but for the last month they stopped responding to my emails when i asked to process the refund for the deposit and they are refusing to refund the outstanding amount. Worst travel agency with extremely bad customer service and no transparency. Also, they way the company is set up they are not covered by a single government body so difficult to escalate. I will be sending an official complaint to the US and UK aviation authority. Avoid at all costs! if everything goes fine with your travels then no issues, but if there problems there is no way you are going to get your money back or get any customer support even if you choose the legal route.
