it is almost a scam. there is no response to any calls or chatline. I tried to speak to one of the managers sachin Goel and he was very rude. It is a messed up company that you should avoid. true scammers
Had approached optiontown to extend omanair pass which we couldn't use last year due to the pandemic restrictions. To our disbelief, the team at once extended the pass and we booked the tickets. Again some restrictions cropped up and we weren't in a position to fly as per the booking. On contacting optiontown customer care, they were so considerate that they allowed the rescheduling again. Never have we come across such a wonderful, responsive team in any customer care where we dont have to repeat anything and the needful is done. Kudos the team!!! Keep up your good work!
Things work well if everything is perfect, the slightest change catches them off guard and they either don’t do anything, either blame it on the airline. I’m trying to recover 350£ since March. Lost a lot of time asking obvious questions. To be avoided.
I've changed this review as I've finally received my refund after 6 months. It took a while the money back despite the fact British Airways instructed customers with remaining flights to ask for a refund in March 2021. I'm happy it has been resolved in the end.
I received an email that cooperation with BA will stop and we should reach out for refunds. It's been the best part of SIX months now of constant chasing and getting canned replies "we reached out the the airline and we will revert back - be patient ". Every time I am chasing and every time the same reply. If I wanted to deal with the airline I would have booked with the air line directly. As of the last 1,5 months they have also stopped answering emails all together. Avoid like the plague. Worse customer experience ever and surely a scam from this point on. 2300£ properly scammed. Disgrace.
They allow me to rebook my previous flights which was cancelled during COVID19 and get quick response .
Totally shocking. Like other BA customers they are witholding my refund. It's always 24 hours away and has been for the last 2 months. It amounts to theft in my opinion. 0 stars from me. They need to be investigated.
Still waiting for my refund,paid for upgraded seats 19 months ago and all you get is we can’t find your booking but they reply with a ref from my booking.Do not book with these.

Optiontown is a joke. Since I read the news that they discountinued with BA, I have been trying to get a refund of my unused tickets for almost 3 months. They just keep repeting with the same email that it will take a few weeks, but 11 weeks already passed and no refund has been issued. They don't even answer the phone! Never again! Do not buy tickets from them!
Since the pandemic, the experience has been awful. BA discontinued, on the phone they told me they can book me tickets for existing pass. I've tried 3 times - payment didn't processed but money got charged. I still have no tickets and money taken from my account! I can find noone to help me and I am still with no ticket and money charged. Awful service and I'll be seeking legal advise unless this is shorted out. Edit : There is no customer service - I have sent 5 emails to the customer support email, no answer. UK phone number gets dropped after 5 mins. I called BA and they cannot do anything and there are no tickets issued from their side either.

The support has been exceptional especially in handling the travel passes and bookings cancelled during the flight ban during COVID. Both the support through emails and directly with customer service. The process was a bit of challenge, but they made it easy.

My flights were cancelled in July 2020 due to the pandemic. I’ve been trying to rebook for more than a month now. First, website not working, then asked to change return flight first, I did that. No confirmation and I’m still unable to change the first flight date. They are ignoring my emails. Not answering phone. And chat is unavailable. I’m supposed to travel a week from now. Shame on them. Last time to ever deal with them. Please be very careful and I strongly advise not to deal with them for their unprofessionalism.
