When my son ran off to Uni the computer went down (as it would). Eventually decided motherboard faulty. Old motherboard obsolete (available nowhere), Tried to order by light of nature from pcupgrade and received micro when previous one was bigger. However phone call to Stu where he went through in detail the pros and cons of various options and was completely happy to exchange if I wanted relieved my mind. A second call to a colleague when I was wondering about the processor revealed to me the "no pressure wiggle" and everything works brilliantly. After ordering a relatively expensive CPU from PCUgrade, I phoned to find out why my order had not arrived next day after paying for that service. I was not to happy to say the least. I was given a apology from a polite sales person who turned out to be a real gem. After a quick fact finding conversation this very knowledgeable person easily convinced me with his positive professional opinion that it was the motherboard not the CPU. He provided me with a excellent solution plan which got me a motherboard for the next day and the assurance of all the phone support I required. I need not say the end result was a 100% success. I ordered some RAM for my PC online on Saturday & paid using Visa but come Monday I still hadn't received confirmation or shipping information so I called them & was told that my order had to be cancelled as the price for the RAM on their website was incorrect (bearing in mind that I'd paid over £70). The thing is, my money is still in limbo 5 days later & I can't access it. I'm not happy. It wasn't my fault the RAM price had changed & I'm annoyed that I can't go elsewhere to buy the RAM because my money isn't available. The guy I spoke to didn't seem at all bothered either.
Needed some advise on some older parts for my 1155 setup after speaking with the guys at pcupgrade.co.uk they knew exactly what was required and managed to help with the setup of the system. Knowledge was the key and even help reactivate my copy of windows 10. I ordered a nice cheap CPU and they shipped it quickly. Unfortunately postie didn't bother to deliver it so I queried PCU and they sent a replacement the next day, no quibbles. Great service and I actually got to speak to a human on the phone :D
I have bought a motherboard from PC upgrades. I had some initial problems while installing system on it as I have messed up with BIOS settings, but Stu has offered me great support via email and over the phone. Strongly recommended if you need an old version of hardware which is hard to get after few years. Lee
Initial response polite, listening & rapidly passed on to Stuart who worked out my requirements for a graphics card at a very good price which was delivered inside 24 hours. Turned out to be latest version with less power hungry memory so I could not find the six pin power connector Stu had been at pains to ensure that I had on my PSU harness. Emailed Stu to query & he got back in five minutes & checked that in fact I had latest version. Then had difficulty with my second non digital monitor & again Stuart found a way round & furnished a supplier for the active adapter required as he could not supply at a low price. This firm really knows it,s stuff and TRIES. I have no interest in the firm, I am just a very happy customer delighted at a bit of luck.
Imagine that you are a gamer. Right now you are building your dreamed computer and you need only one last part - motherboard. You know that you can order it early enough to get it on Friday with next day delivery and you do it. You are checking your order and have no information about it, then you send an email to shop asking about your delivery. What is happening next? You get information that shop does not have this motherboard and they are asking if you accept the different model. They reacted ONLY after your email. There was no earlier reaction from the shop site. If you would not send the email then you would get nothing. Now you know that you will not build your computer this weekend. Thanks to PCUpgrade. This story happened to me. I had to use another shop. Unfortunately, I was not able to get another one until today, because of their late reaction. I will not use this shop again, even if my life would depend on it. If you want something fast - forget about it. If you want a reliable partner - forget about it. I contacted a number of companies with some questions over how best to upgrade a PC. PCupgrade were the ones who responded first and best and their advice has been absolutely invaluable. They put me right on things I didn't understand and guided me to the appropriate purchase. I am definitely coming back to them. Unreservedly top recommendation.
I ordered from the company, being very skeptical having not heard of them before. The case I wanted was out of stock and also out of stock at the suppliers. Pcupgrade found a case, in Germany, and shipped it to me. I am ecstatic! Superb service.

Bought my son a Tower case as a start to building his own PC. My son purchased lots of the components except the motherboard, then couldn't find an alternative until a speaking to pcupgrade. They went the full mile to provide advice on how to do the build.
I ordered a Gigabyte motherboard from this company with next day delivery however rang up to make sure they got the order the next day as received no email concerning dispatch. Turned out that the motherboard had already been sold. Good customer service as the person I spoke to offered me a full refund or an alternative. I have took the refund as the motherboard alternative was not what I was after.

After I bought a very well priced CPU from their website, and it wouldn't work with my current system, I got in contact from Stu from PCUpgrade. He helped me tremendously in troubleshooting the error. He centered on it more than likely being an aged/faulty motherboard and offered a full refund on the CPU despite it not being faulty itself. After this, he also provided support and advice on a new CPU and Motherboard, which I'll buy from them once my refund goes through. I haven't experienced such dedicated and quick support from a company before and they've really set the standard very high for me.

Ordered a UK Toshiba laptop keyboard which arrived securely packaged and quickly. Lots of emails to tell me what was happening with my order. Recommend this company to anyone wanting a new part for their laptop or PC.
I've not yet had my product, it was only orderded properly recently, however as my original part was out of stock, they gave me a choice of a slightly newer, and improved model, for only a small amount more (understandable, it is a different product) but the part that stood out the most was after me not seeing the email right away, they had called me, and explained everything, and even gave me time to think it over, and compare to two, i could not think of a better way it could have been done!

Pcupgrade went to exceptional lengths with comprehensive support involving several emails to check that I really did need a new card before accepting that I should get one. At each stage of investigation, when I reported back the responses came very promptly. Useful advice was then offered to help me choose a card. Fantastic service.
