Great communication before visit, swift and tidy install
Very friendly chap who made clear the various steps and kept me informed throughout.
The survey/planning process was a huge PITA. My installation was not standard and took five weeks to accomplish. Anything more than a bog-standard ‘drill through the wall and screw it on’ type installation seems to cause huge delays. The guy that was eventually sent to fit the charger was excellent though.
Polite and courteous installer who answered all questions posed and explained everything with great knowledge.
The installation was excellent and the installer was informative with what had been done and how to use the charger. What was disappointing was the litter left by the installation, there were 4 screws in amongst the driveway gravel and a handful of discarded wire shielding and off cuts.

Haven't had our EV charger installed yet just so far not very happy. Booked our installation all was well until realising with our private parking and the side of the car the plug is on I should of ordered a longer tethered lead, or a charger without tethered lead. My wife and I have tried to contact Pod Point to upgrade our order to a longer cable, whether that be tethered or not. You'd think this would be easy as it's gonna cost £200 more. But after phone calls, E mails using two different email addresses from pod point and my wife leaving a voicemail we are yet to get a reply or anyone on the phone. When you call it says they are open 9-5 Monday to Friday, So much for Pod Point customer service is available 24/7 which it states on their site. Now have cancelled our installation and trying to cancel our order and get money back. Have been trying for two days now, waited on hold for over 30 minutes, next time and hour, always caller number 1, gave up. Now every time I try to call nobodys available and phone hangs up. Endless E mails asking to cancel order and get money back, no reply, nobody has contacted regarding cancellation of installation. Just silence and lost £1200. If we don't hear anything soon I'm contacting the ombudsman and beyond that will be passing this onto Watchdog. Really wish Renault hadn't of recommended this company they are awful, really feels like we're gonna be fighting for weeks or months to get our money back and now have to pay out a grand again to another company for our charger. UPDATE.. Finally got a reply and getting our money back after putting this review up. Funny that!! Although the ladies who contacted where nice I'll never recommend Pod Point!! INTERESTING THEY HAVE LOADS OF 1 STAR REVIEWS ON AN INCORRECT PAGE ON HERE THATS POD POINT A RADIO COMPANY CHECK IT OUT TO SEE ALL THEIR BAD REVIEWS. PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO DOUBLE CHECK THE TRUST PILOT PAGE THEY ARE REVIEWING ON!!
Installer was polite and efficient throughout and explained all he was doing as he went. The job was finished in a very neat and tidy manner and the workings of the charger and the ap explained well. This was as excellent example of customer care and service
Engineer texted to let me know he was on his way did a very good job and set everything up and cleaned up.

Great service and a very helpful team
On the day everything was great, Nick was very polite and thorough, and did a great job. My only issue was the period between booking and installation. My first appointment was cancelled with less than a days notice via email, no phone call. I also didn’t receive any confirmation that the new one was definitely going ahead until the text on the morning of fitting.
