All fitted within 2 hours. Friendly man who communicated well. However notice of him turning up at 8am would have been nice from the company (or a time slot).

Very easy and hassle free! Initially an appointment was made but I could not make it due to travel. I also needed a couple of days to clear access to the meter in my garage! Once the appointment was booked I received the pre- installation questionnaire. This is a well designed electronic form (which can be saved and revisited) and requires some time to complete correctly and includes uploading some photos of the fuse box, meter and surrounding area- plus a short video of where you want to mount the charger and the cable path. Once that was assessed I received an appointment email. I was in touch with my coordinator Lade, who I spoke with initially and then answered all my question emails quickly and clearly. On the day of the appointment my installer arrived promptly and was really good. We walked through where to fit it and he mentioned the power would be off for 30 mins but he would let me know. He had a look at the earthing in the house (critical) Once connected he tested everything and tidied up and took the rubbish, then added the PodPoint via our wifi and registered it. He then showed me how to use the app scheduling and enable manual settings. A slight panic for a second as it was only drawing 7A - but that was because I manually limited it in the Car settings (as I was using a 3 pin UK socket charger for a few days). In my view, key to a smooth install is having clear access to the electric meter etc. So spend some time doing that and hopefully you will have no issues. You need your wifi password and a bit of signal where the box will go. Unfortunately I didn’t get my installers name but want to thank him. Now I need to put a lot of stuff back in the garage!!

Big Ash installed pod point ev charger was polite and professional throughout from initial assessment to finish of installation. Very neat and tidy work and no inconvenience caused. Explained how to use charge point and answered any questions we had.

Installer arrived on time and was very pleasant. Unfortunately, as soon as he left and I attempted to charge the car the red light showed and the charge failed. I tried the trip switch and that did not work. Podpoint customer service lovely chap Nick advised the installer should have waited 10 mins to see if there was any fault with the charger. I have now been waiting hours for the installation team to contact me. I have taken a day off work to be home for this and am about to go on holiday so this is the only time I am free. I am highly frustrated.

I bought a bmw ix1 and they recommended podpoint so I went ahead and bought the charger. I then filled out the installation form as requested. I then heard nothing. I chased and chased this, waiting sometimes an hour on hold to talk to someone. I was promised a call back on two occasions that never happened. I was worried about this terrible customer service so I cancelled the order. Nearly 3 weeks later I have repeatedly chased this refund amounting to over £1000. I would avoid this company, they really have been terrible.
