The installer was excellent. Friendly, careful and very competent, leaving no mess either. Thank you. Getting the charger working properly was however pretty tricky. Took hours of software updates and fiddling with settings and WiFi position then a call to customer support who were very helpful and took our problem seriously.

The contracted out local installer was great. Super helpful, polite and did a great job. However, this is a review of Pod Point not him. The main issue with Pod Point is zero communication. Total radio silence from the moment you place and pay for your installation. No confirmation email, nothing in the app, no text, no call, nothing! I called them on the planned day of installation just to check that someone was coming. Apparently they have installed a new automated computer system to replace customer service, but it doesn't work. It's really odd that you can go on their website, place an order and pay your money, but not even receive a receipt. I was worried that I'd been scammed until it actually got installed.

The installer was friendly and explained what was going to happen and gave advice on best location and positioning. It was completed quicker than we expected

Engineer was great, very clean and tidy process and installed in less than 3 hours. Only downside was the emails state the technician will call with installation slot which did not happen and when I spoke to the technician he advised this never happens and it should be customer services that call.

Imstaller was polite and texted to say he was leaving previous job. All fitted and working in a few hours and left everything tidy. As previous other comments, an estimate on time would be good, as waited all morning and was beginning to think that wasn't coming, until got a text of the fitter in afternoon

It took forever. I ordered and fully paid on the 18/12/24 and its finally been installed 4/2/25 so 49 days. When i received an email i always replied back straight away then it always took around 6 days to get a reply back, it was around 3 weeks in back and forths before been told they forget to mention on the first email to me i needed to get Northern Powergrid to carry out works before they could carry out thier works which delayed it even further. Really couldnt fault the guy who came to install it though, polite and well informed and carried the work out in a timely manner if not for which this would be 1 star. One of the worst consumer experiences ive ever had.

Regret installing podpoint chargers at our commercial property for employees. The units themselves work ok, but they do not pay their bills and their communication is non existent when chasing them for payment. Would enter into a contract with them in future.

Ordered a home EV charger - after completing the home survey they could not give me an installation date due to shortage of installers in my area. After waiting 3 weeks and no further updates I asked for refund - I am still waiting for my refund - NOT IMPRESSED - every time I rang customer services I was number 7 in the queue - automated email system is lacking in continuity of enquiry just get a new dispute number ......

Installed and working just like you'd expect. No problems apart from missing the first appointment, but I understand the reasons for that, and it was rescheduled very quickly.

I’m giving them 5 stars for the worst experience. No engineer arrived for the installation and not a courtesy call to say he wouldn’t be arriving.I cancelled and I’m still waiting for a refund a week later and they put you on hold for 20 minutes at a time then hang up on you. The worst business to deal with so therefore they get five stars (because have you noticed that the five stars are always at the top ?😉)…you have been warned…..cowboys!

Pod point ordered end of September. Finally fitted in November and then not switched on until end of January. Very poor response to emails. No response whatsoever to phone calls. sent an email to Laura Platipodis on 27th September to which she never replied. The only person who has responded to any emails (although very slowly) was Bob Hyslop, who has been helpful.

Installer was great throughout! Explained everything well and managed to do the job despite absolutely horrendous weather.
