However their installer Big Ash saved the day, polite, professional, did a fantastic job of the installation and I’d highly recommend him.

After discussing the installation the work was carried out to a high standard and was impressed with her neatness of work and pleasant nature. I’d recommend this engineer to anyone. Being a field engineer myself with sky I think I know someone who is competent and takes pride in their work. Top marks Georgia.

We were up and functioning under the three hours i had been told when this was booked. This whole process has been quick, efficient and completely painless - thank you Pod Point and your installers.

Jan 31,2025The installers were five star. However I was not impressed by the online surveyor. I said I thought that the pod could be installed in the garage using existing wiring, showing pictures of the wiring and fuse box in the garage. I was told that it couldn't be done. However the installer said it could be and would be the best option but this would mean a further visit as he did not have the required parts with him. It also meant I had to pay for the additional visit as well as the parts, even although I didn't need more that 1 metre of cable. This brought the total cost to almost £1300. It took over 2 months from the order until installation.

Feb 01,2025The online contact with Podpoint was dreadful - they required several follow up videos, then further delay for more videos and then for more money , and another follow up for more money, for additional trunking. After contacting Podpont Head Office who sorted it and were prompt, we got an installation date. The company they out source installation to were excellent - the young man who installed the charger did a great job. The videos were not used and he agreed( and checked it with his manager), a much more efficient way to get to the electric with absolutely NO trunking needed.
