Communication throughout the installation, and handover on completion, was very clear and professional.

Installation engineer excellent and knowledgeable as well as helpful. Front of house and service team detached and clueless. Unable to grasp a simple installation wanted to send a survey. Do not use their post for installation it's robbery... eBay is the answer. Charger seems decent enough.

Very fast installation after initial enquiry. Installer (Big Ash) was very good, informative, thorough, gave good time scales. Pod point were apparently supposed to call us to explain we could not put it on the wall we had sent pictures/ videos of and also we needed an outside fuse box which they hadn't - but this seemed no issue to the installer. The installer also needs access to the inside of your house to check things, so was a bit embarrassing as I hadn't tidied up! But a fast, professional and efficient service, talked though everything and was easy to understand. Would recommend Big Ash for your Pod Point installation! Very funny guy!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Was recommended Pod Point by car dealership as all they do is EV chargers and therefore they should do it well! I sent photos and video of the outside and the fuse box inside the house which apparently is unnecessary in any case. had a phone call 36 hours before from the installer saying it might not happen as it might need a ground work team, luckily there are builders doing the road close by so I asked them to lift the slabs so the cable could run under the door, also the cable had to run about knee height as the wall it followed was sloped, again this was not picked and if I wanted a cleaner look, it would have required a ground work team to dig a channel for it which was not made clear at all. Installation was on time but it now turns out the pod point is not connected to wi-fi as I have spent a couple of days tweaking apps, schedules, in and out of the house to check what the charge is doing etc, even to the point of staying up to 1130pm. it only charges to the car’s schedule when the car is unlocked. After calling POD Point this afternoon they could see straight away it was not connected to wifi, which should have been done at point of installation, I was told I would get a call back from the specialist team, I waited 2hrs and called again and still no joy. It is now after 5pm and the lines are closed, and unfortunately I do have other things to do rather than check the car, await for them to ring. I tried to connect to wifi myself with the chap who took my call, it’s not a simple process and did not work. I am incredibly frustrated, seems like a complete waste of time and money, £1100 for the Solo 3S, not impressed at all. 24hrs later- I still had to call PP myself this morning and it is still unable to connect to wifi, but at least recognise the problem, see their response below and it has been escalated. I am hoping for a quick solution, either a physical check/inspection visit very soon.
