Having spent all my working life in heavy electrical engineering it was refreshing to find somebody who was both knowledgeable and extremely tidy in his work. Nothing was to much trouble. A full explanation of the charger and what to do when things don,t work. I feel that I have to put Geoff Pritchard - the Installation Engineer down for 10/10 score.
We only had to wait 7 days for installation. The installer arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful. Thank you pod-point.
The installer was fantastic! However, the installer was unable to turn our PodPoint on as the company themselves did not contact the DNO (powergrid) beforehand. Communications since then have not been great and at times have been really difficult to contact. The experience would have been better if they had checked if we were on a looped supply before fitting and kept in touch throughout the process. We are still unable to use the Pod Point after a week.
Severe lack of communication from PodPoint once the installation date was set. No email/message sent to inform me potential time of engineers arrival. Expected me to sit in all day. I had to phone to find out estimated time of installation. Engineer was superb in replacing and installing the new podpoint.
Great service installation and commissioning went very smoothly all set up inside 3 hours. Highly recommend

Appalling customer service. We have a malfunctioning home charger for over 6 weeks now and despite 2 engineers visiting and claiming to have the resolved the issue (both claimed it was a different issue), the charger still doesn't work. Trying to contact Pod Point and speak to a human requires a wait of at least 30 minutes each time without any immediate resolution. Shocking
Chris turned up on time , very knowledgeable and helpful and his work was very professional and tidy, I explained to him I had problems getting hold of someone on the phone which was annoying but this is no reflection on him.

Installation cancelled twice and when it actually happened faulty PodPoint and installer not very knowledgeable.

Your engineer arrived on time, and completed the works as I expected. He was friendly and polite, and kept me informed along the way. When finished, he explained everything to me, and made sure that I understood.

Installation was great however customer care is really poor. Been requesting a VAT receipt for a month and still not got it!!!! Very basic request and causes unnecessary hassle!!!

Mar 05,2025Poor work ethic, left the place dirty with mud from drilling all the existing device. Could not be bothered to clean up his mess after installing..!!! Wanted to add pics but no option
