Feb 25,2020UPDATE: Within hours of submitting my 1 star review the CEO called me to address all of my concerns. He was very responsive and said he planned to immediately remove this postal location from the site until retraining occurred. He was very clear that what I experienced was not acceptable. He has since done everything in his power to make things right. The postal location unfortunately was not cooperative with the efforts of PostScan and is no longer going to be used. Resultingly I have been moved to a new postal location/address which poses an inconvenience to change my address with all my contacts, etc, however overall I am very happy with the outcome and pending further use would recommend to my friends. ORIGINAL POST: I have been a member a little over a month. NUMBER ONE: I was under the impression that there was a 30day trial period, but nonetheless was charged a monthly fee within days of opening the account. NUMBER TWO: The address assigned is apparently a non standard address and USPS would not accept it when filled out the change of address form. I had to go through several rounds of communication with PostScan to get a “correct” version of the address that USPS would accept. I have had this problem, the rejection of the non standard address, repeatedly by various other parties that I have changed my address with. NUMBER THREE: Scanning for letters that I have requested to open have taken way longer than I anticipated. Sometime +24hrs. Scans have been sloppy and look like they are just a picture taken in someone’s home table. NUMBER FOUR: The wrong scans were assigned to the wrong letters in the app. NUMBER FIVE: Most recently I requested my mail be forwarded. I kept checking the tracking and it wasnt updating. On the 2nd business day (4th calendar day). I called and was given a non committal answer that it was dropped off and I would need to call the post office. I have since called the post office and they have no record of receiving the item. I just spent 45min trying to get back through to the PostScan customer service and was told that someone would call me back to discuss further. I’m currently waiting for the call back... I am very concerned. The mail in that package to be forwarded was time sensitive and now no one seems to be able to tell me what has happened to it. In fact there is a very similar complaint I found on BBB... PostScan mail is not stepping up and taking responsibility, just shifting it. PostScan Mail has a high level of responsibility to be Stewards of my mail and at the moment it seems that everything has been handled sloppily and without care. I would like an investigation performed at this mail location and figure out how and why all the above has happened. I’m considering stopping the service and spreading the word on BBB and social media to stay away from this company.
