Jan 24,2022Disappointing company. I was in urgent need of a label printer for 4x6 shipping labels and other smaller label sizes. Upon placing an order I realised the smaller sized labels were too restricted even with offbrand labels, which fit a different model. The printer had not yet shipped so I emailed to ask for a cancellation before it shipped out. Instead of issuing a cancellation and a refund, I get a call from a pushy obnoxious male salesperson telling me I had requested him to call, which I never had. Through the conversation he kept rambling and insisting that neither Dymo or Brother printers could print the 4x6 shipping labels which "require a special sized printer", which - of course - was 3x more costly (£300-400) . Another salesperson had told me the opposite. No matter how many times I mentioned that I only use the standard 4x6, he just wouldn't drop the constant loopback to some oversized labels provided by Royal Mail that needs an expensive printer. I don't buy oversized labels specific from Royal Mail. After the fifth time of bringing up the same sale pitch about irrelevant products I don't even use and constantly talking over me and not allowing me to finish a sentence, my patience ran out wasting time on this subject. He then argued that I "was not listening to him"... If I repeat again and again that I use 4x6 labels then who is not listening? Couldn't be a worse and more dishonest salesperson trying to hoodwink people. I told him to just cancel the order like I had asked, and he hung up on me mid-sentence. And of course he didn't cancel the order! I had to email once more to make sure it was cancelled. I've double checked both Brother and Dymo printers and they can print 4x6 labels (100 x 150mm) just fine. Besides, you can scale down the print text anyways if you need to.

Jan 19,2022I needed a printer to replace one that was not economically repairable. I wanted refillable ink tanks. I had selected the Canon Pixma G 4511. Printerbase pointed out the limitations of this machine. Delivery was prompt and it was relatively easy to set up. Ink tanks are a great idea. No messing about with short life expensive cartridges. Very easy to fill and no inky fingers. Short experience shows unit works as expected. Photo printing better than anticipated and only very close inspection shows difference from photo printer Printerbase price was best on offer and service was excellent. Thoroughly recommended
