Nov 27,2024Our 4 year old dog has had ProDog raw since he was 8 months old. Before feeding raw food we struggled to find a food that agreed with his digestion. He has had a settled tummy (and firm poos) eversince! His coat is soft and hes a healthy dog. He's happy but wishes I'd give him more and I'm happy because I feel he's being fed a more natural diet. Price-wise it's definitely on a par with good quality dry food as they really don't need that much each day. The info on the website is really helpful but one of the best things about ProDog is the excellent customer service. Quick responses to queries and nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommended!

Nov 26,2024I had a problem when trying to change my subscription which was quickly resolved ( even though it was out of normal hours). Excellent customer service!! Our puppy now 6mths old ,is thriving on her puppy food and looks forward to meals.

Nov 25,2024Moved to UK from Canada and was having some ordering issues due to Canadian payment details. They actually re-wrote part of their system to accommodate my needs. Very grateful for their assistance. I have also found great supplements and food with them as well! It was daunting trying to find replacements for all of my dog’s nutritional needs when moving to a different country, but Prodog has great alternatives to what we were using in Canada and my dog is doing well! Thanks to all the fine folks at prison for their help!

Nov 20,2024BEWARE metal part was discovered in raw food. Only by chance I saw the sharp metal clip embedded in the food. This could have resulted in severe injury or fatality and after an investigation into how this happened I was told their findings were inconclusive, sorry. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Actually had the audacity to offer a refund for the 1 chub which they then concluded to give me a refund for the 5 chubs that were from the same batch !!! I don’t want a refund I want a guarantee my dog will not consume metal parts in his raw food!!! Which of course they won’t/can’t give ! I thought I was feeding a premium product and have now discovered the only thing that is premium is their profit margin and huge lack of care, compassion and respect for their customers and the pets we feed. AVOID this company and use a brand/company that uses meat, not metal.

Nov 05,2024Our young dog has severe inflammatory bowel disease. He’s had a lot of medications and a vet recommended kibble diet. Our goal is to continue to manage his condition using more natural products. Alison’s advice and recommendations were beyond expectations. We have begun the first phase of his eventual transition to a raw diet. He’s happier, calmer and is doing really well.

Oct 30,2024I was recommended Prodog by my puppy trainer and so glad she did as it's the first time I have used a raw diet and found it difficult to grasp at first but the Prodig site is easy to navigate and I love the fact I can put my pups weight in and the correct amount of food needed is displayed. I started on the puppy food and have just had a delivery of the adult menu and my puppy loves it. I also messaged in regard when to feed the adult menus and received a lovely reply a few hours later. I like the fact that if I need to discuss an issue I can just send an email.

Oct 29,2024My dog was taken by police and returned 5 months later a wreck - fat, scabby & allergic to everything! He's always been raw fed so I started cutting out various things but he was still food intolerent and yeasty. I e-mailed pro-dog describing the situation and was e-mailed back (double quick) by the lovely Alison. She was so helpful and knowledgeable - we emailed to and fro and she suggested things to cut out and suggested a powder that would help (I'd asked, no hard sell). It's so rare to find a company that doesn't just want to flog their gear at any price I was so impressed. Also they don't speak to you like a cretin "is lickle doggy's tum tum better?" kind of nonsense that makes me want to vomit. They go the extra mile and when your dog isn't doing great that means a lot

Free delivery, repeat order option is great as it give discount and is handy to just have to sent out rather than trying to reorder each time!

Oct 28,2024I WANTED TO CHANGE MY CHOICE OF RAW FOR MY 2 DOGS THAT I HAD ON SUBSCRIPTION IT WAS LITERALLY THE DAY BEFORE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND EMAILED THEY REPLIED WITHIN THE HOUR (AMAZING) TO SAY THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE AND IT WENT THROUGH. RECIEVED PRO DOG RAW A FEW DAYS LATER.

Oct 28,2024Great food, both my dogs love. Love the fact they sell rabbit and goat, which is often so difficult to get hold of. One of my dogs had an idiopathic chylothorax last year so following successful surgery for that, she now needs to stay on a low fat diet for life, so i’m grateful Prodog supplies these lean meats. I did have an issue with their ordering system once because i received an email saying i still had items in my basket. I thought I hadn’t hit the pay button, so upon receiving that email I hit it again, which resulted in my order being placed twice in error. However, I managed to cancel the duplicate in time, and the ProDog representative was very helpful and dealt with it promptly, explained why it had happened and apologised for their IT system generating the email. So no biggie, things sometimes do go wrong, but it’s how a company rectifies it that is important and on that occasion they were great.

Oct 28,2024I had an issue where my 10 month old puppy refused to even look at her food, as I had changed from another raw supplier. But she has been fussy from day one really and a bit of a diva 👩🎤!! I contacted Pro Dog and they put me in contact with Caroline who took the time to explain somethings about dog psychology and their food and how to make it more palatable when there is a fussy dog with no other dog to competitively eat with lol. So I put into place some of the things suggested, well all of them lol, then Caroline checked back with me a couple of days later to see how we’d been getting on and I could say that she had eaten all her meals ( 2 a day) since then. She didn’t eat her breakfast yesterday but no big deal, I just put back in fridge and she ate that evening, not with much enthusiasm lol as I think she wanted my dinner (which she doesn’t get!) but she ate it, so a win! The help was very useful and personal and actually speaking to Caroline really helped me deal with the situation.

Oct 23,2024My poor furbabies have skin allergies. They are 4, and always been raw fed. Because of allergies, I needed to get green, tripe. Prodog raw was the only raw food supplier that has green tripe, and it was delivered with care, within 24 hours. I had some questions and queries regarding best fit food for my dogs; the staff were amazing, emailing straight away, sound advice and empathy. I have used pro dog on and off for the past 4 years. I would highly recommend this company. In this world of inflation, we have to shop around. However, there are many other raw companies that are much cheaper, but the quality of their ingredients is my main concern. You are what you eat, and I want the best there is for my furbabies.

Oct 20,2024The food is great but I had an issue. Occasionally they’ll send you a 1kg pack to replace two 500g packs. When you have a small dog this is a waste as you can’t just defrost bits of it, and a whole kilo would go off before he ate it all. I requested they only sent me 500g packs, but was told this wasn’t possible, and it was in their ts and cs they would always replace with a 1kg pack when the 500g packs weren’t available. So I no longer buy from them. Such a shame for a problem so easily solved.

Nov 27,2024The customer service at ProDog Raw is 10/10, I had queries in regards to my puppy in which I received an answer for in under 1h via email, very pleasant response and my puppy absolutely loves his food / treat package. Also the delivery time / packaging was superb! I also got a few free treat samples :) Me and my pup Koba will be a forever customer! Make sure to purchase your raw meat and treats from ProDog!
