Dean Wassell showed us around the property and he has been very helpful from the beginning. We have seen around 15 properties with different estate agents and Dean is the first to have a really good knowledge of the house and its history. He has also been great with any questions I have had since the viewing.

4 weeks after offer acceptance, we are still awaiting memorandum of sale. Poor customer service in general, a promise of a call back on several occasions amounted to absolutely nothing, a few different explanations when we did speak to someone which makes us question their credibility. Being left on hold on one occasion for over 50minutes until we had to hang up and try again is quite frankly below service expectations. You are now hindering out ability to progress our mortgage application for lack of the required documentation.

A weak link in the chain and a cause of additional stress. Difficult to get hold of; slow to respond. It would have been much worse if we didn't have sellers we could communicate with directly. I was even accused by a sales progressor of withholding information about our chain which was 1) given on our first viewing of the property 2) easily available from our estate agents and solicitors. Our surveyor was held up from visiting the property as he found it difficult to speak to anybody to arrange a viewing. Key exchange was ridiculous as well: an email sent to the "Sales Progressor" went unanswered for two days. Direct texts and a message via the PurpleBricks messaging portal to the sales agent who we viewed the property with went entirely unanswered. The Sales Progressor who finally 'phoned me when we were already waiting to enter the property and advised we spoke to the sales agent. We and our movers dealt directly with the sellers to finish the process. Poor and unprofessional. Added time and stress to an already time hungry and stressful process. Embarrassing performance. Think twice even before buying through them.

I am still in the process of trying to sell my property through Purplebricks and, so far, I can say I am extremely disappointed. I would never recommend to anyone to use their services. First consideration. Whilst a traditional estate agent only charges a commission IF they can sell the house, PB makes their money from selling the service, which you have to pay upfront. Therefore they have no drive in trying to sell the property as they make no money from the actual sale. TTheymade their profit by selling the service already. The salesperson will tell you that they do this and that but, having checked with the head office, the reality is that they have no process in place to proactively try to sell the property but they only react to enquiries made by possible buyers. So they would not try to reach out to buyers that are on the market, they do not take buyers' details or anything like that. If they receive a request, they show the property and this is it. Also they have no interest in obtaining the best price for the property as it is different from their revenue. They want to sell the property fast so that they do not need to invest any more time in it. They will be on the buyer's side to get the price reduced to facilitate the transaction, rather than fight on the seller's corner to obtain the best price. Having seen in action the person who is tasked with conducting the views, I can say that I rarely saw a more incompetent salesperson. Unsure about everything, always talking about the next-door property, always answering they do not know and showing a lack of knowledge and confidence. Using terms that have a bad connotation like "strange" to describe the shape of our garden. We have provided them with the same information about an external cupboard and provided them with the keys. They keep advising the viewers that they are unsure about what is in the cupboard and not giving them access. Also, provided many times information about when views are convenient for us, still not getting this right after months Last, the sale of the property fell through due to incorrect information they provided to buyers, who then asked for a reduction in the price due to the misleading information received The salesman who visited the property deliberately avoided mentioning that when you sign up for their services and pay the fees for the visits etc. there is a time limit for it. If the house does not sell within 6 months then you have either to reduce by at least 5% the price or pay additional fees to extend the contract. In essence, I made the mistake of going for this option as it looks cheaper. Was costing me only 16000 instead of 4000 as would have been with a traditional estate agent. I made a mistake, I did not take into consideration what now I learned by experience and I hope that this can be of help to other people to absolutely avoid this company like the plague.

Purple Bricks have been great from the very start all the way to completions of the sale of our house in Plymouth. Jordan Greenaway was involved from the start giving us a fair appraisal of the house and then Divesh Easow did a fantastic job of organising and hosting all our viewings whilst keeping up great communication with us throughout. This ultimately led to us receiving 3 offers in the first 2 weeks of being on the market and us accepting one which was over the asking price and exactly matched the approach Jordan had outlined from her evaluation of the local market. Would definitely recommend the local team for your house sale.

It's seems we have gone through the longest house buying process and it would be so much more stressful if we didn't have support for the PP seller progressor -Hannah Tramontano. She was with us through all the process always responding promptly to any queries no matter what time of the day we contacted her and it always seemed to move things forward. Absolutely delightful to deal with highly recommend. Thank you for all your support.

Swift response to complete valuation . Honest knowledgeable information about the current housing market and local area backed up with data evidence . We were on the market within 72 hrs of the valuation.

Charlie was very clear and gave full explanation in terms that didn’t use unsettling jargon which if not understood Could create if it wasn’t understood what’s going to happen and how, the moving is already stressful enough

Everything about the sale process was very smooth from a fast valuation from Shakeel Ahmed, to the amazing Tracey Ross who led all of our viewings leading to our house going on the market having two open house viewings to recieving 9 offers and us accepting an offer all under a week! And a big thankyou to Shannon Ormesher for negotiating all our offers so we got the right buyer. The sale experience has been great so far and would definitely recommend.
