We used PB for a tenant find service, My Purple Bricks agent, Anika was great. She gave good advice, set up an open day for my rental and achieved what we wanted in rent. She was highly responsive right the way through the process. Once we were at contract stage our administrator, Kiara took over - also great to deal with. The only niggles we had were around the tenant vetting service, done by Homelet, which took ages, and the presentation balance of payments info at the end, which was a bit cryptic. These seem to be back office issues. But compared to regular estate agents who charge exorbitant fees and lock you in to long term contracts, while delivering very little value PB are a much better alternative.

Tracy Page, our sales progressor has been amazing throughout the sale of our house. She has listened and offered great advice when needed. Very poor post Sales support. Sales representative was incredibly un-responsive in multiple attempts to communicate regards to the checks of the offers placed on our flat. Simply ignored all e-mails from us (client that paid 1500GBP for their service) and also the agency on the purchase side. When the Sale was agreed between myself and the buyer I had to sit on the line to speak to compliance for over 30mins each time which is un-acceptable.
I would not recommend Purple Bricks. I initially left a good review as the person who valued our house and got it on the market was very helpful. She has since not responded to any contact and I assume she left Purple Bricks. I was not made aware of this and the name on the app in her place did not respond to my message. I had two other contacts who again did not respond to emails. I chased updates for my memorandum of sale every couple of days, only to be told they needed ‘one more thing’ from my buyer. Each time I spoke to my buyer, they were not aware what was required. It seemed like nobody looked at my file until I called them. It took nearly a month for the memorandum of sale to come through and at no point was I contacted by Purple Bricks after accepting the offer, I had to phone them at every stage, often being on hold for a long time, to speak to anyone. The people I spoke to individually were nice and helpful, but were not able to give an idea of timeframes or give my any advice about what to do apart from wait. I believe if I had waited and not chased them, I would not have a memorandum of sale at all.
A very pleasant and informative meeting
Horrendous in every way imaginable. Phoned up to list our property on the commercial section of Rightmove, Zoopla, etc, which was all agreed. Paid our fee only for the property to be listed on residential. Numerous phone calls later and broken promises of call backs, the property has been removed from the residential side (2 weeks ago) but not uploaded onto commercial. We are banging our heads against the wall here trying to get somebody to do something.

James the local agent was professional and pleasant. He had done his research on the local area and comparisons with similar properties. After looking around the property he explained and showed me on his laptop how he arrived at his valuation, which i agreed with and he then went on to explain how Purple Bricks works and the pricing plans to choose from. Nothing was hidden and James made sure I understood their business plan. I've used Purple Bricks successfully a few years ago so wasn't surprised at the professionalism displayed. I will be instructing Purple Bricks to sell my property very shortly. Many tganks James for your honesty and professional approach. Big thumbs up from me.
